Let me start off by saying I am not one to write a lot of reviews on yelp... We bought our home 5 years ago. It had solar but the company that installed it is no longer in business. I called and emailed the top 3 solar companies rated on yelp in North County almost a month ago because we were getting a message that our solar was ""Missing Grid."" Justin from RC Energy responded to my inquiry within 24 hours. We began talking/texting about my issue. I sent him photos of the problem. He new what was going on and his guys ordered the part without ever needing to come out or charge me an initial consultation. 2.5 weeks later the part arrived and his guys came and installed. Problem fixed and total out of pocket was roughly $350. Glad to be back on the grid and not paying electricity bills anymore. I was inspired to write this because I finally received a consultation call back from the 2nd company almost a month after my request and the 3rd has still not gotten back to me. Thankful for RC's responsiveness as time is money when dealing with solar/electricity issues. Thanks Justin and team!

We recently had our roof replaced along with new rain gutters and our attic cleaned and disinfected with new insulation. From our first meeting with Justin to the final inspection RC Energy Solutions exceeded all of our expectations.

Justin's bid was exactly what we were charged and the additional wood replacement costs were thoroughly explained in advance. We had no unexpected additional costs.

The finished work has improved our curb appeal 100% and with over 6 inches of rain over the last 5 days the roof and gutters are working perfectly. We could not be happier!

We had a ceiling water leak and thought it was a roof issue. I contacted RC Energy Solutions and Justin came the same day. He was determined to find the cause and was honest enough to tell us it wasn't a roof issue. He offered to climb into the attic and cut a hole in the ceiling and we all realized it was a pipe leak. Not only is he responsive, friendly, professional and experienced, he has a good heart for helping people which money can't buy. We are so grateful that we now know the root cause of the leak and will be happy to hire RC Energy for future work!

Justin was recommended by our neighbor and installed Solar at our home for a very fair price. Recently Justin and his team installed flooring, interior doors and painted the inside of the home. The job was completed in the exact time of the quote AND our house was professionally cleaned by Justin's crew before we moved back in. Justin came up with an excellent suggestion on changing out three (3) large windows in our home that had an underlying issue with termites. The windows are absolutely gorgeous. The job the his team did was great. They completed the job in less than three (3) days and all the work was done with incredible attention-to-detail. Justin and RC Energy did an EXCELLENT job on a recent roofing project of ours in Carlsbad. We had a roof leak, and with more rain coming we were keen to get it fixed ASAP. Justin and his team have been professional, responsive, honest, and helpful throughout the entire process. We used RC Energy for completely re-roofing our house. This included removing and re-installing the solar panels that they had previously installed years ago with a previous home-owner.

We received multiple quotes prior to going with RC and their prices were competitive. Scheduling was predictable and accurate - as was the estimated time of completion for the project.

We had some challenges re-roofing our very old home that resulted in a some ""uh-oh"" moments once RC removed the existing roof. The previous owners had mickey-moused the roof job previously and it needed to be redone the correct way. This resulted in a re-quote of the job for additional work; Justin was transparent throughout and made sure we understood the process and what was happening. We appreciated his team keeping their workspace clean and organized at the end of each day.

At the time, we chose not to replace our existing chimney cap that was noted to have some issues during our home inspection. However, with the recent rain we noticed water damage in our ceiling. Justin and his team have been very helpful in covering / tarping the areas, running water tests, and using strategic problem solving to isolate the issue and propose fixes. They have even helped us to re-caulk areas contributing to the issue to help ensure it does not get any worse prior to a proper long-term fix. Justin is always following up with us and helping answer our questions.

Fantastic!!

We discovered a few leaks in our roof over the Thanksgiving weekend. We got on Yelp to look for someone. Justin reached out right away. He came by just a few days later to take a look at our situation. He was very thorough. He explained all our options, took pictures and went over all possible solutions.

He was kind enough to give me some tips and tricks to try....and it worked!! I couldn't be more grateful. Not everyone would do that and be that honest, but he was!

We will absolutely use them when it comes time for our other project!

These folks know their stuff and operate with high integrity- everything you could hope for. They just did a complicated, large-scale window and door project for our condo - we replaced every single window and door in the entire place. They were communicative, clean and VERY professional. The install team was at our house working for days with me and the baby around, and they were capable, responsible AND considerate every step of the way.

I've been working with them for years and, with every interaction, Justin and his team just impress me more. They offer great advice and strong options, but they don't pressure sell you. We were happy to give them all the business we could, and we hope to add more projects in the near future.

These guys are the gold standard for how to run a business. Excellent work, even better customer care. Highly recommend.
