Robert arrived for our appt 1 hour early and was attentive to my issues. Unlike other roofing contractors, Robert did not push me to get a new roof and actually showed me the hole in my roof which was the cause of my issue.
Robert also took the time to educate me how to fix the hole and what products were needed. He did all this for free.
I was able to follow his steps and fix the hoke and leak myself. If I had listened to other roofers, I would have been pushed to buy a new roof and spend more than $20,000.

Our experience of RB Roofing was an outstanding one. The work was done fast and correctly by an expert and cooperative roofing crew, led by Bob Bernarding, the business owner. This was so much better than our previous experiences with roofers.

We had a fairly large job for Bob and RB Roofing, as we needed to replace the roof on both sides of two side by side townhouses that have multiple levels and a separate center section roof area.. And both sides of the townhouses had pushed out the roof-line years ago to finish off our attics, and serious leaks had developed in that area over time, and dry rot had resulted. Bob and RB Roofing replaced the rotted boards expertly and then finished off the entire roof job nicely. It looks good, and the price was reasonable for the quality of the work. So I can now testify that this is excellent local owner-operated roofing firm which I highly recommend.

We spotted some areas of discoloration on an interior wall and figured we must have a leak in the roof, so we called Bob at RB and asked him to find and repair the leak and also to inspect the entire roof and let us know if we needed to get re-roofed. First thing Bob did when he arrived was check out the discoloration; then he went up onto the roof. Back on the ground, he told us he could find no leaking, and told us that our roof has a whole lot of life left in it, so no need to replace. He could have sold us a repair job and a new roof, and we are grateful for his honesty and integrity in giving us the straight scoop. He told us he's been in the roofing business for 35 years, and we imagine a very long line of satisfied and appreciative customers behind him. If/when we need a roof, Bob's our man.

There are times when you're at the mercy of a professional, and when you become confident of that professional's expertise and integrity, a tremendous sense of relief is experienced. Robert came by our home today (we bought our house about a year ago and there were a host of notations in the disclosures). The fact that he didn't try to up-sell (he pointed out that we should pick up a smaller mesh screen for under our chimney and another place that can be fixed with another small purchase from the hardware store l), meant to me that he's honest in his assessments-- and as I said, that is truly a big deal
