Years after Ramey replaced roof, when having gutter put on, pictures showed that Ramey had cut corners and left gaps between shingles with wood exposed. Now, we have to replace whole job. If no stars would post that.

Throughout the project they always gave a vibe of wanting to help - for example when something small changed on the project they didn't nickel and dime me and after the project they let me know how to keep my roof in good shape.

Ramey Roofing rep. estimator checked out source of a ceiling stain. Fixed 3 shingle nails and cemented. End of story. No charge! Has not rained to test the fix, but feel confident. Have used Ramey Roofing twice in the past without any problems.

The original roofing job was clean and easy and they were very professional and relational. Six months later I noticed a leak when the rains hit- they came out, assessed the issue- it wasn't a roof issue and they sealed and fixed it anyway! So of course we highly recommend RAMEY ROOFING!

A couple years ago John Ramey came out and gave us an estimate on our 1000 sq ft roof. He's a long time local contractor. He had tile samples and suggested a certain one that was the color we wanted and was a new reflective material. Two guys arrived on time and did the stripping of the thred old layers. The next day three other guys arrived and checked all the wood and replaced what needed replacing. The next day the roofing materials truck arrived early and they unloaded materials onto the roof and four guys started roofing. They arrived the second and third days and finished the job. They did the garage in the rear of the property too. Every thing was itemized and John arranged for the permit and inspection which was completed in two separate visits. John was responsive and visited our house everyday to make sure it was getting completed onetime. The workers are kept busy by Ramey Roofing but I never knew there were specialists who do one aspect of the work. I'd use them again and in fact we used him on my in-laws house. I was also very pleased with the reasonable price.

This post is long overdue! We used Ramey Roofing about a year ago on our house in Westchester. The house needed 3 layers of shingles removed and new plywood in about 70% of the roof. What I appreciated the most about Ramey Roofing was that they were extremely honest with the quote. We had other roofers stop by that didnt even go up on the roof, and gave us quotes to add plywood on 100% of the house, even though 30% of it didn't need it (where our addition was).

When the crew was here, they were extremely professional and did a great job cleaning up. Really a class act.

Do not use Ramey Roofing. I have been going back and forth for weeks with them. They put on a roof for us in 2006 and now needed a few minor repairs. Jon came out said he would give estimate, had to call nonstop for weeks, then Friday they were supposed to come and fix it, nobody showed up and I stayed home all day, took a day off work. Nobody called, nobody will ever return a call but will always say that they will. No integrity or customer service with this company. Very disappointed.
