Ramey Roofing just finished the roof on our new build home. I couldn't be happier. With the El Nino coming all the good roofers have been swapped and Ramey Roofing was no exception. Jon Ramey did everything he could to work us into his schedule while accommodating our changing construction schedule. Jon's dedication included Jon and his crew working late on a Saturday installing the underlayment to make sure we were ready for the rain. Also, he was right -- the upgraded underlayment he recommended held up perfectly -- not one leak during those heavy early January storms. Now all the shingles (all 4,800 square feet of them -- CertainTeed Presidential) have been installed. The roof looks and performs amazing, the quality of work and professionalism of his crew and Steve, his foreman, couldn't be beat. There is a reason he does more roofs in El Segundo than anyone else -- he's an honest businessman that provides quality work at reasonable prices.

I called this company and spoke to Mr Ramey about a roof leak I was having. He told me he would call me back the next Monday to set up an inspection. Never got the call. Called two more times and left messages but those calls were never returned either. Incredibly unprofessional. I would steer clear of a business owner that conducts business in this manner.

John Ramey is a great guy to deal with. My roof needed sooooo much extra wood once it was torn off but he fixed it like new!!' Clean up was awesome. Heck his crew left my yard and lawn cleaner than it was when they started!!!
I can't wait for it to rain. The installation is very clean (I used to work construction) and adds to my homes ""curb appeal"". I don't usually write reviews (who has the time?) but I just wanted to give a shout out for a great guy and a great company.

We used Ramey Roofing when we purchased our home in 2003 based on a recommendation from our realtor, Lynn O'Neil. We bought our house as-is and the roof was shot with over 20 leaks. We needed to have three levels of roof removed including a rock and tar roof. Ramey's team was quick and professional and fairly priced and our new roof looked beautiful. We used Ramey again when we removed our chimney and the job was quick and very inexpensive. We used Ramey again when we remodeled in 2009 and his team flawlessly matched the addition to the existing roof. We have had three positive experiences with this company and we have referred Ramey to lots of friends. The team is friendly and all of the employees are covered by insurance which is a big plus when people are working on your roof! I'm recommending them to another friend today.

We, along with our next door neighbor, had new roofs put on by Ramey Roofing. From the very start we found Jon Ramey to be very friendly and courteous. Our home has an extremely steep roof (40 degrees). Because of this it took a lot of extra time and effort to take off the old shingles and install the new ones. The roofers were all very friendly and did a top notch job on the project. Each day they cleaned up everything making sure there were no nails or other debris that could cause a problem. When the job was complete they did a complete cleanup.
We are very pleased with the job Ramey Roofing did on both houses, and we can certainly recommend them to anyone wishing to install a new roof.

I have used Ramey Roofing for roof repairs and replacement for over 20 years. They replaced the roof at our rental house 15 years ago, and we have not experienced any problems. I recently decided to have them replace the roof at my residence. The job was complex due to extensive termite damage to the plywood and supporting structure. Basically it had to be replaced before the new roof could be installed. The work was skillfully completed and the final result was quite pleasing. The workers showed up on time. Telephone calls were answered in a timely manner. All concerns were addressed. All debris was removed and cleanup performed. In short everything that I expect from a contractor was done. I would heartily recommend Ramey Roofing for all roof repairs and replacement.

I have used Ramey Roofing for two jobs. They were fantastic on both... and one was a two and a half story mansard rood that had never been re-roofed from the day it was built, in 1936.

They also came recommended as one of several roofers that I interviewed as recommended by the roofing supply company . In additiion, I even went and not only looked at one of their larger jobs, but was able to ask one of the condo owners about their experience and again, they were highly recommended, saying that they not only did a very professional job, but left everything very clean each day.

I can also say that I had a small leak, or so I thought, and Jon and his brother came out not once but twice and checked. It was another small problem and they were both honest and ethical as they told me NO roof repair was required.

I was referred to Jon Ramey at Ramey Roofing by a neighbor. I always try to get referrals for any work I have done on the house and this was a good referral. Jon gave me the best bid on the roof and the work was well done. Jon showed up to every appointment on time and got the job done in a timely manner. Throughout the process he let me know what to expect each step of the way. When he came to bid the job he checked thoroughly including the garage to make sure that nothing could be damaged during the work. When I asked about wood replacement he told me what the average replacement was for a house my size so I was not surprised when he told me how much they actually had to replace. When I asked for extras that he hadn't initially quoted he provided reasonable prices for whatever I asked for -an extra roof vent and ridge vent over the garage. He also took care of the permit so that I didn't have to deal with that. When they left I didn't see any debris from the job - everything was cleaned up. All of the work they did looks great, and of course, nothing leaked during the recent downpour. I highly recommend Jon and his crew.

Jon was great to work with. Very responsive and easy to schedule. I looked around for a few weeks and got a couple of different quotes and Jon was by far the best price for the same work and easily quoted the quickest completion time. He first came over to give an estimate. The estimate was thorough and he held to the estimate exactly. My roof was just over 2100 sq/ft. Him and his crew had the roof completely ripped out and the rotting wood replaced on the first day. The inspector came the second day, and the third day the entire roof was put back on. Very quick and efficient. After tearing down my old roof, we had to replace a lot more wood than I was expecting. Jon worked with us and gave us a discount for all the wood he had to replace. When the inspector came out, he insisted on adding two more attic vents and an extra layer of felt paper. Jon gave me the attic vents at cost and the extra layer of felt paper for free. After the job was completed, the area around the house was completely clean up. You couldn't tell at all that the roof was just replaced. Jon was a pleasure to work with and extremely fair. I would recommend him to anyone in need of roofing repair.
