I purchased a home that had solar panel installed and found out prior to the panel install was done, this roofing company did the work to upgrade the roof. When I started to paint the walls i found that the walls had some damage including the ceiling. I took a deeper looked and found that there was wet spot.

I contacted the solar panel company and they told me to contact the roofing company. I contacted the roofing company and left many messages with no return calls.

Finally after 2 - 3 months of calling someone finally spoke to me about the roofing and informed me that the warranty is only for 2 years and that if there was damage it should have been reported. I informed them that the damage was under the drywall and it was not noticed until removal was done.

They kept on going back to the 2 years and said warranty is up and they wont help. I was not even able to speak to someone regarding the matter it was the front desk person or person answering the phone. I try to contact the person who originally supported and setup the install.

the first thing you'll see is ""HONESTY, INTEGRITY, AND QUALITY WORKMANSHIP."" - they are far from any of this. in addttion you'll see "" there when you need us"" that also did not happen, maybe when they get paid they'll be there.

I even asked for a copy of the contact to review and they said they could not give me the contract since I was not the purchaser or owner and further more stated that my warranty went with the purchaser. I then asked for a generic contract they would have provided nothing was given to me. The seller contacted them and they still did not provide a contract to him.

I even asked to have someone talk to me about how to go about repairing or fixing the issue and no one wanted to help or contact me
Further more I would say do not use this company for any service unless you want to waste time and money.

Rainy Day Roofing was a subcontractor on my Solar Installation project.
I found their office staff to be extremely helpful, got back to me when they said they would and worked very hard to get the job done. I also found their field people to be knowledgeable and hard working. When they left the job, it was cleaned up no damage and they bothered to ask if there was anything else they could do for us. I spent about a month trying to get this company to do the roof repair I needed and they would not send me a contract I was patient while they moved offices and I was give a quote a few times but no one gave me a contract so I found an other company who within a hour gave me the contract and two days later started the project

I connected with Rainy Day through my solar company to replace my roof prior to the solar install. From the first contact, I was extremely happy. Nancy coordinated everything and kept me in the loop.

The crew showed up on time and were very polite and professional. They got to work immediately and worked nearly eight days to replace my roof. They gave me frequent updates and what I should expect next.

Once they completed the work, the roof was inspected and passed city inspection immediately.

The team cleaned up the work site before they left. As a guy that did roofing in my younger years, I know this was a big project being performed in the height of summer.

I cant speak to the other reviewer situations, but my project went off without a hitch.

Would give zero stars if that would be an option. I have had the worst possible experience with this roofing company. They installed a new roof, prior to solar panels installation. The roof was fine prior to their installation. Rainy Day roofing in fact damaged our roof such that our entire house flooded due to multiple leaks! They have refused to compensate or reimburse us for a single penny and have been entirely unresponsive. Please do yourself a favor and never use this company.

Rainy day roofing claims they will complete work that they started. Then they disappear and refuse the do any more work. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. There are too many good roofers in California to waste your money on their service.

I would highly recommend Rainy Day Roofing! They came to our house to do repairs on our roof before we installed solar panels by Sunrun. They were onetime, professional, covered our pool, and made sure our yard was immaculate when they left. They even left some back up tiles for us to use in the future incase one was broken. Mike is a man of his word, who stands by the work his crews do. Two months after he completed the job, the property insurance company, purchased when we bought our house, was giving us trouble and he stepped in to help us even though he didn't have to and he wasn't getting paid. To me this speaks volumes to the character of this company and that's why I will always trust Rainy Day Roofing to handle any of my roofing problems.

Rainy Day Roofing is the best roofing company around! They have great customer service and are more than willing to help you with whatever you need. Eddie is the main sales rep and he was always willing to answer my calls and any questions I had. The quality of work that they did is impressive and they certify it all with a warranty. I would recommend to anyone!
