Rainblocker Roofing and Construction made repairs to my roof. On August 2, 2018 I found water damage to the interior of the home. Water was dripping from the sealing of the master bedroom. The wall, crown molding, and base molding were wet as a result. I contacted Jim to attempt to rectify the problem on 9 occasions (August 2-16).

At the conclusion of the assessment, Jim recommended caulking the roof, scraping, and painting the damaged crown molding as quick fix. This recommendation was unacceptable as he was aware of the visible damage to the crown molding, base molding, doorframe, and coffered ceiling of my master bedroom. Jim appeared to be very disinterested in rectifying the problem. Additionally, he was made aware of the potential water damage behind the wall. I requested the identified section of the roof, as well as the affected interior of the master bedroom be repaired and paid for by Rainblocker Roofing and Construction. Due to the damages and disappointing experience with the lack of service provided, I requested to use a contractor of my choosing for interior repairs. A certified letter was sent to Jim and Managing Partner, James Groves to settle the matter amicably by August 29, 2018. I have yet to be contacted by either to honor the work and rectify the problem.

Jim and his team are very easy to work with and they do excellent work!! They replaced some damaged shingles on my roof and matched it beautifully and they also repaired a significant leak we had in some older sun lights over our covered deck. We also needed new gutters and Jim recommended the gutters they installed. They are not only very efficient, but much more attractive than what I was expecting. It really dressed up our roof line! Last but not least, we needed a chimney cap. Even though it took a little longer to get custom-made, the final product is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was wanting. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing some roof repair or new roof.

Came out and did a roof inspection after a storm. They helped me through the whole insurance process. Once all of that was settled they did the roof in one day! It looks great and I definitely recommend this company.

EDIT** 7/9/2018 After my son advised Jim from Rainblocker roofing of what was still pending, Jim let us know that he had not been aware that his subcontractor had actually left him holding the bag. Jim was extremely professional and had someone to come out the next week and replace the fascia and soffit, and today the gutters were installed. I am extremely pleased with the outcome!!


Roof work was great. 2 months later still NO soffit or facia replacement as in contract. Worker came one day and took down the undamaged gutter from the FRONT of my home and still to date has not called nor replaced it !! Called the office and was promised a followup.. NOTHING.. Called the owner and he had no idea....All of this work was already paid for in the insurance check.... shame on me for being honest and paying before ALL work was completed. Would not call this company again ! Nothing in the contract besides the roof was completed !!
