I purchased a home in June 2022. The ""new roof"" was a major selling point for me and a big excuse for the seller to not negotiate on anything. The roof was installed in April 2022. It leaked in March 2923, less than a year after install. The contract clearly states a 4 year warranty. When I contacted the company they immediately diagnosed the leak without ever looking at it as leaking from the siding not the roof. Made an appt to come look at it and they didn't show up. Concerned by their odd response I checked with the county permit office and learned no permit was pulled which immediately made my concerned my roof was not to code or installed correctly. I finally got Roney to come after my realtor emailed a demand for response. After Rosa told me Ronnie said it's the siding in he comes out and finds it was the siding he was going to charge me an inspection fee. She said if he found an issue with the roof he would do whatever necessary to bring it back up to Code. I said funny you mention that because when he didn't show up I checked with the county and learned he never pulled a permit so I have no idea if my roof is to code or not. They suddenly became super nice but of course he found no issue with the roof. He claimed water went uphill into a space in the siding at the top of porch overhang, put some caulk in the space and said he knew it wouldn't leak anymore. Unsatisfied with his findings I had the roof inspected by a licensed building inspector who was previously employed by the county permit office as an inspector. His report was heartbreaking. Aside from there being felt and shingles on the roof hardly any of it was code compliant. No flashing, no ice dam protection (required in my area). The contract stated ""replace plywood as necessary"" but they didn't do that. They roofed over broken beams and boards which in turn caused new broken beams and boards. The roof over my bedroom is sagging and on the verge of collapse. 2 other areas are sagging and shingles are buckled. No flashing between the roof and siding allowing water to freely go into my walls. Without removing the roofing there's no way to know where the leak originated. The inspector noted there is most likely damage to the insulation and structure. He also noted they nailed so many nails in straight lines they created dotted lines in the old wood underneath that caused boards to break. All of these issues existed when Roney came and ""inspected"" yet all he did was put some caulk into a gap (Which should have had flashing to begin with to prevent leaking). Their Bond insurance most likely won't cover the damages plus bringing the roof to code.

Roney gave me a beautiful new tile roof in 8 working days. I was amazed. Including new plywood and paper. He's is very good at planning the job and telling me what to expect. He has replaced 3 roofs on my street. He goes the extra mile to satisfy his customers. His is a family business. He is professional and friendly. He really cares about his customers. And his prices are great. You won't be disappointed.

Great price, hard worker, great customer service. Man of his word. Would recommend him to anyone needing a new roof or repairs!

Rosa, (owner) did my partial roof work but apparently I found out to some other professional company they did a lousy job. Edges on my roof should be clip with metal to support the edges around but they forgot to do that. Appeared to be a rush job with low quality workmanship. Then there was an incident leak inside my house when I called them back again thought it was their prior work. After waiting for almost 4 weeks given me a ridiculous over price quote for a 1/4 price of the other legit company out there. She's charging me a whole roof replacement for little work to be done. This company is not honest nor ready to provide good service nor quality work. I don't recommend this WENCES Roof Company to anybody seeking a quality work.

They had a good rating on Home Adviser, so I called three times to get an estimate. I was told each time they would do it Wednesday or Thursday. They never got back to me, so I went with a different company.

I know this is the busy season for roofers due to the rain. However, does that means don't show for a scheduled appointment and don't call to let people know you won't be coming??? I don't think so. I even attempted to call him back and the phone just rings and rings with no pickup. If this is your customer service, how can I trust you on my roof????

Ronny and his crew came out and put a new roof on my home in Barstow this fall and it looks great! In an effort to save a little money, I decided to tear off the old roof(s) myself. The (two) old roof materials consisted of very old materials that had the consistency of potato chips. It was more work and took me longer than I had anticipated but Ronny was patient and supportive. Once the roof was completely stripped, the consistently hot and dry desert summer weather changed - drastically!
Ronny broke away from his son's (Saturday) birthday party, gathered a couple of his crew and headed to my place. A couple hours later the house was completely covered with plastic protecting the house from the next two days of rain.
The crew was back the following week and had my new roof up in just a few days. Besides being impressed with the work, I was relieved knowing the job had been done right. Ronny is a very conscientious contractor, takes pride in his work and gave me the sense my satisfaction with the project was paramount. Ronny took the extra time to explain to me the processes he uses, why it took a little longer and cost just a little more than the completion. I saw that Ronny closely supervised his small crew and quickly and efficiently corrected any deficiencies.
*A word of caution to home owners considering having a contractor re-roof your home. The materials your contractor puts on your home belong to you and you are solely responsible for the purchase of it. In other words, the supplier can put a lien against your property if the materials are not paid for out of the money you pay to your contractor. Choose your contractor wisely.
Ronny explained this to me prior to the work being started and emphasized the importance of my receiving a ""release"" from the material supplier. I did not automatically get this from my supplier as promised. When I brought this to Ronny's attention, he personally went to the supplier, obtained the release and hand delivered it to me the very next day!
This guy is fervent about roofing and I would feel confident recommending him to my friends and family.
