Robert and his crew showed up on time everyday and worked so hard to get the job done. It was so hot out but they powered through!

I own an older home and had leaks everywhere after last years rain. I contacted R squared to see what needed to be done. Robert was very helpful in showing me my options for my low slope roof and helping to determine the most cost efficient route. We both concluded that a new roof was the only way to go. He was prompt on arrival and flexible with our schedule. The project was done on time and he put in the extra hours needed to fine tune some of the individual aspects of my roof. Highly recommend him.

Had Robert come out to do a roof inspection on a house I was purchasing. He provided a detailed report with photos and an estimate of repairs. He clearly explained the results to me, as well as what work would be done for the $350 in repairs that he recommended.
The inspection cost $195, but this fee was able to be credited towards the $350 in repairs.

We went through with the house sale, and I followed up a few weeks later to schedule the repairs. His schedule was backed up, no big deal.

Followed up later and finally set a day for the repairs. The day before they were scheduled to take place, I messaged him to confirm that we were still on. He told me that the repairs ""would have to take place next week"". Maybe he forgot? Lame. Why did I have to initiate to figure this out?

I responded by suggesting Thursday or Friday that next week, never heard back. Gave it a day and emailed him again asking to set up an appointment. Never heard back. Left a voicemail asking the same thing, never heard back.

At this point I am left to conclude that I'm being blown off because he'd rather do a 15 minute inspection for $195 and not perform 3 hours more of repairs for the other $155.

Robert is probably a great roofer, but there is definitely an issue here with communication and/or scheduling. My experience is that it was very difficult pinning down a day and time when he would actually be showing up. Half of the time I would receive no response at all, and when he did get back to me it was a ""probably Tuesday afternoon"" or ""next week"", with zero followup on his part afterwards.

I'm sure that I am a relatively minor customer, but I did not feel that my business was important to him at all.

Maybe he is more proactive with customers that have more work to perform, but when I need to re-roof my house I will not be considering R Squared.

EDIT: Robert contacted me after I posted this and came out the next day to do the repairs. I appreciate that he made it right in the end, although I wish I didn't have to post a low review for that to happen. He seems like a busy guy but it would have made things much easier to keep me in the loop about putting off the service.

Robert is awesome! As a Realtor, I often find myself in a quick need for a roofer to provide an estimate on a home we have in escrow. Robert is always accommodating in trying to set up the inspection timely. His explanation of what needs to be done is thorough, and his honesty of what should be done, opposed to what can be done, is always appreciated. His prices are fair, and his workmanship great.

Robert Reis did a FABULOUS job on a listing which needed a new roof to satisfy the lender. Robert was able to accommodate a very short turnaround time.
He showed up on time as scheduled and finished the job quickly.

They were also very well priced.
Robert was always super responsive. Many other companies I contacted were slow in responding to calls, emails and texts. And Robert never used any pushy sales tactics....very easy to deal with. He just gave me what was needed. He was also exceptional with the administrative side. Very professional organization.

We just moved into a new house and Robert came to inspect our roof. Robert provided good advice on what needed to be done and performed the work the following day. He doesn't advise you to do unnecessary work and does not overcharge. He is very professional, reasonable in price, very responsive & reliable, and performs quality work. I highly recommend him and definitely will use him again.

Robert seemed like he had experience with roofing. So I excepted his estimate. He pushed back doing the work first because of the rain,then because of family emergency,then hurt his back,then emailed me that he would be coming the next day at 7:30am. He did not showup or call to explain why. He did not answer the phone when I called. That is not a very good impression.
