The work was done swiftly and correct. I appreciated that they were willing to meet with me outside of my normal work hours, to go over everything, and walked me through all the insurance paperwork. My contact Mo was extremely professional, and kept up with me throughout the whole process, which was greatly appreciated. He even took several pictures and sent them to me throughout the process, so I could see what was going on.

Thank you Mo

They were the last ones to replace my roof, until today. As validated by the picture, even though they claim to tear off existing felt/layers, they didn't, meaning they put the fourth layer on my roof. Pretty hard to check for leaks/rotten wood in roof, if existing layers are not torn off.

R&R Exteriors convinces homeowners to enter the Appraisal Process for claims, hired me to complete the work and when the file is done, refuses to pay. R&R Exteriors reached out to me on August 2nd, 2018 to assist their property owners in the appraisal process, which is a form of alternative mediation for insurance claims, to take on clients and represent them in order to make sure the clients received a fair evaluation of their properties. I met with several individuals, including Team Leads and 2 Sales Managers. During this meeting, I discussed the pricing schedule, because, as an Appraiser, I am paid hourly for time spent, as any form of payment that is based on the award given would disqualify me from representing a client as an impartial and unbiased appraiser. After the meeting, I began to receive files, almost immediately, August 3rd. After having completed several appraisals for R&R, it became difficult to receive payment. For example, on a file for a Mr. D. Co****, I completed the process on September 12th, 2018 and did not receive payment until December 21st, 2018. By this time, my invoices to R&R had reached over $15,XXX, with payments for retainers having been paid scarcely. When I had the opportunity to sit and review the accounting for R&R Exteriors, I tried to connect with the original individual that sent me each file that I worked on, Mr. E. McDavid, a manager within R&R, and could not get a response. After approximately a week and a half, I received a phone call from Mark Anderson, Owner of R&R Exteriors. The purpose of him calling me was not to pay me the outstanding invoices, but rather, to ask why an insurance company on another file had sent the check to my office. I did not know, but told him that when payment was received for work completed on that claim, that I would be more than happy to endorse and Overnight ship the check to his office. He stated that he had no problem with that, and I received payment shortly thereafter. On this call, he tells me that Mr. McDavid, along with several other individuals had left his company, and there was some confusion. He then tells me that I will be receiving a call from a Mr. L. Waley, the CFO. After speaking with Mr. Waley, I explain my position to him, and no sooner than a week later, I am told that Mr. Waley is no longer involved due to one of the claims that I am working on being a personal connection of his. I then get referred to a Mr. A. Hastings, the new CEO of R&R Exteriors. Mr. Hastings was rather pleasant, stating that he wanted to get everything taken care of quickly and maintain a business relationship, which I had no problem with. We had several conversations leading up to the Christmas holiday, and he tells me on Thursday, December 20th, that he will make sure I am paid and ""made whole"" on Friday, December 21st, 2018. The next day, I received payments on 3 invoices, totaling $1,136.63, not even 10% of my outstanding balances. I spoke with Luke and he stated that, at that time, that was all he would be able to do until Wednesday, December 26th. That evening, I spoke with another representative from R&R, a Mr. M. Poage, and he questioned me on 2 claims related to him, and told me that he would make sure I was paid. Here we are, December 28th, and after promises of payment, I am now sent an email from Mr. Poage stating that R&R will no longer be using my services. This is after Mr. Hastings attempted to threaten that I worked for free because they did not hire me. Not only did Mr. Poage send an email, but also the owner, Mr. Richardson. He responded to an email that I sent to Mr. Poage informing him that I had no problem not receiving new files, but I expect payment on work completed, and that I would be forwarding the email to an attorney for review. Mr. Richardson responded saying, ""Nico, Why don't you forward this to your attorneys go f*** yourself!"" It was at that moment that I realized that R&R Exteriors had no intention of paying me for services rendered on over 20 files since August of 2018 after promises from Mr. Waley, Mr. Hastings and Mr. Poage. I am told by the owner to go f myself. While they may have talented crews who perform work for them, their inner workings pose a great risk to the end consumer. Due to R&R Exteriors not upholding their end, I am forced to invoice the homeowners and/or file liens on the properties. I do not like to be in this position, because at the end of the day, it is not the homeowner's fault. However, I have no choice, and I think consumers should be aware of the volatile nature of Mr. Richardson who poses as a nice and professional individual, but will turn on them when he is requested to do something that he stated he would. I believe in total transparency, and a company who exposes their homeowners to this type of risk is not a company that homeowners should trust with their homes.

My experience with R&R was less than favorable. Tony never returned my calls and when I went to the location in Dallas it didn't exist! This is a fake company and will take your money and run.

R&R Exteriors did an outstanding job with the installation of our new roof this year. Danny Willard, the company Representative we worked with, knows his business, and made the whole process smooth and easy. He handled the heavy lifting with the insurance claim, which made things so much easier. The roof was completed on time and on budget.

I just want to say a few things about my experience with this company.
They are not just a roofing company. They do all kinds of exterior work. In Denton Tx we had one of the worst hail storms ever. I had baseball size hail. Everyone in our neighborhood was getting a new roof. My neighbor next door was getting one and I met the contractor that was doing his roof. His name is Nick Timm. I spoke with him and I liked him so much we started the process. I got a new roof and a new stained fence. They both look great. Nick walked me trough the process so carefully and explained every part of the process to me. He worked with my insurance company to make sure I got everything I needed to get this done. He was here throughout the job, checking on his crews and touching base with me. The roof crew and the fence crew were also great and did an outstanding job. Nick was so professional and nice and made the whole process so effortless. I can't thank him enough.
