Initial repair cost less than estimate; company responsive when leak persisted, promptly making additional efforts until leak fixed, all without additional cost, any delay or complaint by company.

Terrible customer service after they got their payment. They broke my air conditioner. They damaged the wires which created a short that melted my transformer. The repair cost $474. They reimbursed $110 for the cost of the damaged wire repair. They refused to pay the full repair even though without the wire being damaged none of the other damage would have been caused. When they damaged the wires they shorted out and melted my transformer. I deserve my air conditioner to be restored to the same working order it was on the day they started the roof. The cost of total repair was $474 not $110. The damaged wires created all the rest of the damage to my system. I should not have to be responsible for any of that repair to restore my system to where it was the morning they started work on my roof. They won't even call me back to discuss the situation. I have made multiple calls. I made a complaint to BBB & am leaving this review. They refuse to reimburse me for total damage and refuse to speak to me about it. They were paid for the roof by my condo association so there isn't any way for me withhold the repair fees from their payment.

Friendly and prompt but not a very professional contactor. Respect the clients property and leave everything as you found it shows professionalism. The fine details mean a lot. While I hope the roof is of quality, the fine details and professionalism wasn't there. Just another average contractor, I would not use them again.

RJ Owens Roofing completed two roof replacements last summer for rentals properties that I help manage. My Boss seemed happy with the outcome and from what I witnessed the projects went smoothly. When my wife and I decided to replace our roof this year I called RJ Owens for an estimate. Richard was able to provide an estimate within 2-3 days after making the initial call. The price seemed reasonable, and they provided a variety selection of shingle colors. The office staff (Sandy and Loreen) answered my questions about permitting and a few requests (taking a Dish satellite, scheduling).
The Roofers arrived on time for the removal of existing shingles and installation of the underlayment. The second day they were able to install the new shingles and basically complete the project. Rick was loading up the trailer when we noticed a tar smudge towards the top of my house. He did not have product to remove but had someone at my house the next morning to remove. I highly recommend RJ Owens Roofing for roof replacement and/or repairs.

I recently purchased a single family house in Pinellas Co. and just prior to settlement in March 2020, R J Owens completely replaced the roof of the main house. After they replaced the roof, I purchased the home and moved in. Upon moving into the home, there were a couple of small leaks between the roof that was replaced and the Lanai roof which was not replaced. I call R J Owens and even though I wasn't the one that hired/paid them, they immediately came out to the house on two occasions and made sure the leaks were identified and completely fixed. They sent out John, Simon and Javier, and all of them were extremely professional, polite and competent. I really appreciated their quick response and their outstanding customer service! I will recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

Best price out of 3 that I checked. Very fast workers. Roof looks nice. Unfortunately a leak returned around the fireplace chimney a couple months after the roof was finished. But I called and they came right out and sealed it, no extra charge. The gentleman who came out said it probably needs new flashing.

RJ Owens has been super responsive to my needs. Gayle has come out for quotes on short notice. He repairs were completed very timely and at an affordable cost. I continue to use them. My house is 3600 sq ft and in the $750K range tile roof. All repairs guaranteed, they matched my tile and no leaks.
