R. Guillen was in 8 years as part of the U.S. Navy. Following his honorable discharge in the year 1986, he chose Visalia as his residence. Initially, he took a job for a nearby construction firm, building expertise in all aspects of building. Seven years later, Ray earned his contractor's license, insurance coverage, and was bonded, starting his enterprise, R.G. Roofing & General Building, collaborating with his wonderful wife, Sandy, and their three sons. His work included roof patching and complete re-roofing. This experience evolved into small home fixes, and eventually, renovations. Through the years, the demand increased, necessitating the addition of skilled team members while maintaining top-notch craftsmanship from his crew, whether for small fixes or complete roofing systems.
