We had our roof replaced in 2006 by R.E. Roofing and have been very pleased with it all these years. They offer excellent advice, know their roofs and gutters, and installed a very durable roof. Paul recommended large gutter downspouts and we have never regretted putting them in--they don't get clogged! There was a minor problem with one corner of the gutters several years later and they came out immediately and fixed it free of charge. This year our insurance company wanted to know the details of the roof composition and Miles called me to tell me everything about the roof. We highly recommend this roofing company. They stand by their product and they follow up decades later!

RE Roofing replaced my deteriorating concrete tile roof with an asphalt shingle roof last week. The roofers were prompt , courteous, and cleaned up every day. Came on time and worked full days. The new roof and new gutters look great. Miles, the owner, is responsive and very helpful. He even came out to replace 2 smell chunks of drywall that had become dislodged when his guys lifted a skylight. Super, family-owned local company with a real desire for good customer service. I called several roofers to inspect some split wood in the attic and to advise on repairs. Miles took my call and listened to the issues before scheduling to come onsite for a consult. He started by inspecting the outside of the roof for issues, and testing the stability. Having found a 'soft spot' in the same area of my concerns, he then inspected the inside of the attic and made recommendations (add sister joints to support beams that had splitting, and some cross joints for bracing). His quote was reasonable and he communicated well throughout. When his team came on-site for the work, they were very respectful and considerate, working diligently until the end. The end job was completed quickly and the quality was high. Kudos to the team.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Miles and his team for any attic work you have. A quality job at a reasonable price, with a team that knows what they're doing. A+++

When you hire Miles, you aren't just getting a new roof but a reliable, long-term customer service relationship. I chose RE Roofing initially back in 2017 to reroof my home because Miles took the time to carefully evaluate my home's unique characteristics (partial flat roof, and partial cathedral ceilings) and craft a venting solution to address all of our moisture problems. Whereas the other companies seemed much less knowledgeable and mainly interested in getting in and out as quickly as possible.

Since the reroof, I've had a couple leakage issues with our skylights and suntunnels (which I chose not to replace with the reroofing) and whenever I called Miles, somebody came out the same day to assess the issue and make temporary repairs until I could get a permanent fix for the skylight or sun tunnel.

Most recently, I had an awning installed that attached to my roof, but the installers did a terrible job and the roof leaked thereafter. I was a little terrified that nobody would take a small roofing job, but I called up Miles again and he was great at diagnosing the issues and coming up with a custom solution in coordination with the awning installers.

It's really great to see how committed Miles is to his customers. Highly recommended!

I have a garage that gets really hot during the day, and a main living space that gets warm quickly. I had the owner, Miles, come over and evaluate options for cooling it down. He suggested the installation of a couple of vents over both the garage and main attic. He also suggested the installation of radiant barrier, and is something that i can DIY. I appreciated that he doesn't try to upsell services, and was willing to share knowledge.

I contracted R E roofing to install the vents. His crew came over one day and finished the installation very quickly. They also made sure to keep the jobsite clean afterwards. Communication was clear and responsive throughout the job.

I would look for R E roofing to do my roof next time.

Miles and team did my roof about 3 years back. Finally giving him a long overdue review since I just recommended him to a friend.

The roof looks great and is working great with the pounding of some storms last year. Miles was great to work with, and I asked him a ton of questions, called him often, and reviewed the work every evening as it was getting done. It all went well.

To tell you what a stand up guy he is, it turned out there was a math error on the payment. I pointed it out, sent the info, and Miles promptly cut me a check within a week for the difference in amount, 2 months after everything was done! Class act here. As I said, I just recommended him to a friend.

I also appreciate that they are a local small business who's been here for a long time. They care and it shows.

We had RE roofing replace our roof last month.
From the estimate to the execution of the roofing work, RE Roofing was professional and very up front about the project. The employees were very courteous and the owners visited the house few times to ensure the project was going as planned.
I got estimates from other companies like Los Gatos Roofing which didn't even respond after the first visit for an estimate so I was really looking for a company who can execute and RE roofing was definitely the one. I was told It is family owned and the owners treat the employees very well which really do reflect in dedication and professionalism each employees show at their work. The roof looks great and really keeps the temperature in the house steady which is opposite of what we had before.... Glad I went with RE roofing!

I did my due diligence in reviewing potential roofers and settled on R E Roofing after meeting Miles the owner. What drew me to his family owned business was:
- They had a showroom to visit. I felt I could really review my options better vs just being handed roofing samples out of the back of a truck that others did.
- He offered other additional options. Whole house fan, upgrading the attic insulation, upgrading the plywood decking, etc...
- His base roof prices were comprable to other vendors.
- I liked the family owned/small business feel I got from him. He mentioned his mom was the scheduler and he let me know, when I mentioned that I was going to visit the showroom, that the women that hosted the showroom had to pick up her child early that afternoon... I really liked that he was supportive of a mom with a child. (It's a little thing but meant something to me.)

Ripping off and replacing my old roof took about 4.5 days. The teams and process were tightly scheduled and ran like clock work. First day a team came and took the old 2 layers of roof off down to the studs. (They were done in half a day.)

Afterwards the team did a fantastic job cleaning up all round the house of loose debris. Additionally they swept through the garage to assist in cleaning what fell to the floor. (It was suggested to cover in plastic all my garage items beforehand, which I did. It made my own clean up very easy.)

Then the two roofers came and boy, did they get to work. Trucks were dropping by to drop off insulation, boards, and new shingles. They let me know when they found a little dry rot and termite damage. They replaced those damaged areas.

At the end, it looks fantastic! They painted all the old venting to match the color scheme of the new roof. They added to the back slope of the roof and to the garage vents that should let the hot air finally escape during the summers. Really looking forwards to no more super-heated garage or attic (which just caused me to run the AC more than I wanted.) With the addition of the added insulation, I'm hoping this controls the temperature of the house better.

All in all the roof looks terrific and am very pleased that I selected R E Roofing. This is one of those ""very large"" costs that we sometimes have to do to our homes. But I must say, in looking at what has been done, I feel that it was money well spent.
