We hired RE Roofing to replace our roof shingles, gutters and install a whole house fan. The entire job took about 6 days, and everything looks really great. They found and repaired some dry rot that we did not know about and also installed a 2nd layer of plywood on our older roof, which add some more protection. The new hardware (vents, etc.) on the roof were all replaced and painted to match the color shingles we chose. Our roof definitely is the best looking roof on our block now!

It was nice to be able to visit their showroom to view different shingles and ask Miles questions about brands, etc. He's very easy to talk to and seems committed to doing quality work.

The admin, Jodie, was also a whiz at coordinating different contractors and making things happen smoothly. She also communicated frequently (via email) so we always knew what was next.

I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

You know what a sense of relief is when you have a friend in the business? I own my own company and Miles was referred to me by my Neighbor! We had water coming down in buckets! He came out sealed it and repaired it. He also assured us that we did not need a new roof! We own several other properties and he brings us such comfort. He always answers his phone and no matter how busy he is he makes time for us.! He is so reasonable and fair and now we have a friend in the roofing business! Thank you Miles you are a treasure!

A massive thunderstorm with strong winds hit San Jose 5 days ago and my roof started to leak with drips coming through our lighting fixture on my storage room. It got pretty bad and I panicked.

Called 5-6 roofers and it was just extremely difficult to score an appointment. One of them quoted me $550 minimum just to come out and see what's going on. Talk about taking advantage of a situation!
Despite being expensive, they didn't even reply further calls. The others were pretty much the same. Zero customer service. Extremely disappointed.

R E Roofing is the complete opposite. Return calls fast, texted back promptly, confirm the appointment and came EARLY on the appointment day. Extremely communicative, very professional and fixed the issue with photos sent to my phone. I too own a small business and understand the difficulty of working and constant communication with clients especially during a busy season. But this is what sets you apart from the other competitors.

There are a lot of decent roofers out there in San Jose, Mountain View, Cupertino, Campbell, etc. But for the best bet to get your urgent requests done; and done well, R E Roofing & Construction is the company to call !!

We had a leak in the roof that we noticed during a storm. After leaving a request for a quote through Yelp, Miles responded quickly and said he could come fix it the next day! After that, there was a little miscommunication on confirming times for arrival, but he did come the next day and he was very thorough and very pleasant. He took pictures of what he saw. Not only did he fix the leak but he also secured our sky light. We didn't even know it hadn't been secured by the prior owner. And he invoiced a fair amount. He will be my first call when we need a roofer again, though hopefully that won't be for a while.

Miles and his team were easy to work with, attentive to my concerns, and gave great advice on how to proceed with our reroof.

Miles came out to give a quote. During the quoting process I had a few questions about attic ventilation. Miles comfortably answered all of my questions. He was also straightforward about what might need repair on our roof. After our discussion, he promptly sent me a quote which was very competitive.

Soon after my initial quote, but before the job, I asked for a different roof tile to better match the color of our house. Miles met with me and sent another quote immediately. We also discussed how to move some vents in my roof to allow for solar.

During the install everything went smoothly. I was especially pleased with how our new intake vents looked. Importantly, the final cost came in as expected despite the fact that we needed a few repairs.

On a pouring, rainy day mixed with heavy wind, I walked into my home office and noticed a leak coming from one area of the ceiling. I called RE Roofing and they arrived within 20 minutes after I called and they repaired the area on the roof that was causing the leak. I highly recommend RE Roofing, they are a company that is very customer service oriented, responsive, explains what caused the problem and work entailed to fix, and takes pride in their work.

Once again I received top-notch service when RE Roofing came out to clean my gutters. They are very professional, great with communication, and quick to respond. They did my tile roof three years ago and I'm very pleased with how stable the temperature in my house is. The house doesn't get super hot or cold, and I hardly have to run my air conditioning in the summer, except for extremely hot days. And in the winter I almost never have to run the heater. They performed an Energy Audit on my house, and since then the house has been so much more efficient. They basically did a door vacuum that sucks out all the air in the house to find out where the air leaks were coming from. They re-sealed my windows that had leaks, and insulated my attic. They also installed a whole house fan, and solar tubes. Thank you RE Roofing! Highly recommend! Woke up after a big storm to several leaks in my garage and one in my play room where my toddler spends a lot of his day. I called and Miles was at my house in just a couple hours. He fixed all the leaks and explained everything he was doing to make sure they stopped. He was easy to get a hold of, prompt with responses and obviously great at his job! He checked in a couple days later when it rained again to make sure they held. Best experience I've had with work done on my house in a long time. I would definitely use again!

Update: another big storm and one of the patches didn't quite hold. Miles was back the next day to fix them! I sent one text and he came right back. So easy to get a hold of, professional and prompt. And I'm really happy the other two patches held up with all the new rain. Thank you, Miles!

RE Roofing replaced our roof about ten years ago. We have had no problems with it until a contractor took out a freestanding fireplace and did not properly patch the roof. The first rain brought on a leak in that area. Miles came out the same day we called and patched the area even though the roof was out of warranty. He was very responsive and understanding and also explained the problem very clearly. We were very happy with RE Roofing when they originally applied the roof and very appreciative of their response to our problem.
