After losing about 1/3 of our roofing materials during a violent spring thunderstorm/windstorm I began searching for a reputable roofing company that would be happy to provide service in the rural area where we live. I was referred to Jon at Quality Roofing by an area custom home builder and gave him a call explaining our misfortune. His responsiveness was great and he had a person onsite within 24 hours to ensure our roof was 'dried in' until I could make arrangements to obtain quotes from various roofing companies as well as from him to make necessary repairs. I found Jon & Quality Roofing to be very competitive, hence using his company. In a nutshell we were extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism from everyone on his staff that either came onsite to perform work or his administrative staff that I met and spoke with frequently throughout the process. They were all honest, hard working people that I would call immediately if we encounter future roofing needs.

Asked for an estimate on replacing my roof almost 2 years ago and never received. Called to follow up several times and was always told they measured it and were putting together the estimate and will get it to me within several days. Glad I didn't wait for their estimate to come in.

This review has to do with the company's integrity. The roofing company was driving on the road and a piece of roofing material came out to the truck (Truck14 License Plate BWO4874) and hit my car. It scratched the clear coat of my new car and left caulking or some type of liquid material along the side of the car. We called the company the receptionist ""said they could not hear us"" and hung up. We called back and had to leave a voicemail. We called again later that day and again the following day and the next. After a week I finally got through to someone (I used a different phone so maybe they didn't recognize the number). The receptionist said I would have to talk to their HR manager who handled the insurance. I let her know it was important she calls me back as I have been attempting to contact someone for a week and no one has returned my calls. When the HR manager called me back she said she had referred the claim to her insurance agent Christian Lewis from Travelers Insurance. I let he know I had already talked to a body shop because it had taken so long for them to get back and it can probably just be buffed out. She insisted it go through the insurance. A few minutes after getting of the phone with the Roofing company's HR Manager, Christian Lewis from Travelers Insurance calls.
Christian Lewis starts off the conversation like an attorney trying to make a case. She begins to tell me she asks questions that are not relevant like what exactly flew out of the car. I reminded her it happened on the freeway so of course I can't give exact details of the roofing material. She tells me that she reviewed the messages I left the roofing company and my story changed. She tells me once I called it roofing material and later called it debris. I reminded her that it's the same thing. Bottom line something came out of the truck maybe it was a roofing shingle. She then goes to tell me that the driver accounted for all the roofing shingles in their truck. I laughed and explained how ridiculous that is. Roofers do not count the shingles they put in and out of their truck. I let her know that might work for most but I happen to be a roofers son and know how the industry works. She then said to send a picture of the car and she would send an adjuster out. I haven't heard anything for 3 weeks and figured they were just going to blow it off so I had the scratches buffed out.
Today I received a letter from Quality Roofing's insurance agent Christian Lewis stating the roofing company is not legally liable.

Highly recommend NOT using this company. While they did a great job on installing the metal roof on our home, the follow up was terrible. The supplier of the metal for the roof stated they weren't paid and they threatened to put a lien on our home (two certified letters). I, of course, had paid Quality Roofing in full. I left message after message at Quality Roofing, trying to get them to resolve the issue. Did not get any return calls even after asking to speak to the owner (John) and foreman (Travis). Nothing. The work was completed in early May and all the billing snafu has continued through July. Instead of Quality taking care of the issue, I had to spend hours tracking down contact info for the vendor, sending proof of payment, etc. It's sad that a company that does good work has such poor business practices that then impact their customers. They had plenty of chances to get it right and chose not to fix the situation.

I had the sister company do gutters for me because I believed in the system and felt it would be best for my facia. The next day water was leaking behind it just as it should not be. I contact them to find out it's not the gutters fault it's my roof? I was willing to pay to have it fixed only to have some guys show up who rested the ladder right on my new gutters about to ruin them! Fired on the spot! Then I try to work to get it fixed only to find out they are the only ones that can fix it. Sam comes out to look at it and says he will contact me to schedule something. That was weeks ago and no call. The gutters were installed in April it's July now and still not fixed. I wasted a lot of money on that awesome system that won't work.

I can't get emails returned even though I've talked in person and given them insurance info. Alex P. has little or no interest in commiting to work unless he can run over the conversation and do the bare minimum to make a buck.
And trying to charge $2.50 a foot to use a leafblower to clean out gutters is a joke. Maybe in the Dominion, the rest of us have real jobs.
I say go look elsewhere, this company is not reliable.
