I had this company replace my front windows with storm windows and they did a very good job. I am very happy with the windows. Since they had done such a good job, I had them replace my gutters. That's when everything went wrong....
First, they mounted the downspouts in the wrong place, turning my driveway into a skating rink in the winter. Once they fixed that, a rep came to inspect and I told them it was still dripping because I had icicles hanging over my head on the porch. He claimed the installers were not really employees and they couldn't do anything about it, but he didn't see any dripping. When I suggested they put my water hose in the gutter and check, he laughed.
I've made repeated calls, had 4 or 5 visits, and still there is no resolution. They don't even call me back. They've told me I had to pay extra to get it fixed, but I'm a widow on a fixed income and, after spending over a thousand dollars, I'm reluctant to pay them more for something they did wrong in the first place.
I had a male friend come over and look at it. First thing he did was put my hose in the gutters and was then able to determine the problem; the gutters have a gap between them and the roof where water and snow drip through and run down towards the porch. He says that for the price of a 3 tubes of caulking and a gun, roughly $20 or $25, he can fix it.
You'd think these guys would have been able to figure that out, since they claim to be professionals. I also think they should fix it for free, since it was done wrong to begin with.
I, for one, am a VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER, and would not recommend them to anyone.

One of the quality first guys came by our door and was soliciting a meeting which we accepted. The sales guy that showed up a few days later was very polite and good, he explained everything I wanted to know about solar panels. After that things went bad. We had ""managers"" and various people starting to call and try to use the classic ""used car"" sales tactic. The people calling to set up meetings were rude to us and called us lier's, so we told them to fly a kite. If their sales side is this unprofessional I can only imagine how the rest is. Stay away from this company, it looks like a scam.

Holy Crap!!! Fuck this place. Their bid for my backyard was WAY high and they were totally annoying with constant phone calls. All they do is roam around and ""find"" business and since my house looked like crap the swooped in.

Once again- another dilemma with Quality First.

I THOUGHT that all contact would be done with this awful company but no. They just don't quit; they're like a disease! Jeremy seems to be a nice guy cover up for this lousy company.

I got a call from the billing department telling me that 1- they know my Uncle isn't doing well so I'm the person to contact. REALLY?!? You KNOW he's not doing well so he's the account you're focusing on. 2- Apparently he paid them back in 2010 but the check bounced so he still owes them $8,500 dollars. 3- The permits for the work they did back in 2010 has JUST been approved. I'm from a family of contractors, I think we all know that the permit needs to be approved PRIOR to the work being done.

Screw you and your awful, scumbag company. You prey on the elderly. You have no morals. Any company that takes 2 and 1/2 years to clear up a billing issue doesn't deserve to be paid! You obviously have enough income that you didn't notice the missing money. And worst of all, my Uncle's financial adviser clearly recalls the contractor accompanying him to the bank for a cashiers check! You are pitiful and should be ashamed of yourselves.

Go ahead, take us to collections. I hope when a judge hears of your scams they are as disappointed as the rest of us.

This is my 3d attempt to write the review of this company.
The previous 2 were removed by Yelp because of complains by ""Yelp comminity"" who I suspect is the ""Quality First Home ...."" people.
Anyway here it is again.
I have the very first hand bad experience with this company doing everything opposite to the saying ""The customer is always right"":
In short they promised $25 gift certificat for the product demonstration at home and which I never got and would never cared if they wouldn't do it in the very disrespectful manner like never returning the calls, redirecting to somebody else, making empty promises, caring about their good reputation by shutting down the critics, been rude to the people who didn't buy.
I strongly don't recomend this company to have the business with.

Yelp administrator please don't remove this review, or check who are the ""Yelp community"" requesting to remove this review.

Quality First Home Improvement immediately got off on the wrong foot. First, their phone contact insisted that both of us *had* to be present to give us a quote. This struck me as unusual, inappropriate, and shady. If we happen to both be there, sure, but why is this a condition of an estimate?

Then the sales person showed up without a ladder to measure and estimate a new roof. These are suppose to be roofers?! You'd think they would need to go the roof to check things out.

2.5 hours later, (1 hour to measure the house, 1 hour to talk to us about the materials, and 30 minutes to total the price), they finally got around to giving me a bottom line on the project, and their estimate was *twice* as high as the nearest competitive bids we received (with all the same warranty and material options).

When I confronted the sales contact about the huge price differential, they offered some minor excuses that made only a cosmetic difference on price, and then finally said they would reduce the price if we would agree to let our house be used for marketing purposes for referrals on their website and print advertising. Even with this reduction, they were significantly more expensive than the nearest bid.

Needless to say, they didn't get the project. I will avoid this company in the future. Their competitors are cheaper, provide plenty of referrals (more than 50), and appear more professional.

My husband and I had Quality First in Campbell install new windows. They did an excellent job and Eric, the worker was very detailed in his work and even cleaned up the mess from the job as well as cleaned the windows. We live on a busy street and they installed triple glass which makes the noise level much less when we are inside our home. We would highly recommend Quality lst for window replacement.

Had these folks put in windows in fall 2010. Reasonably pleased with the product, although I have a nagging suspicion they are not the exact product we were shown in the demo. One of the windows is beginning to show condensation on the indoor side when it's very cold outside. Of the 9 windows QFHI installed here, it's just the one. Spoke with a guy named Mark who kinda blew it off - ""Oh, yeah, there's lots of reasons that might happen; if there are blinds, if there's a heater near it. . ."" In other words, ""It's probably your fault,"" and then said they'd send a guy out in a couple of weeks because ""they're really backed up right now."" Someone would call me, he said, a little closer to the time someone would be available. No sense of urgency at all. Hello, Jeremy Sawyer? You seem to pay attention to this thread. My phone number is on file with your company. I would appreciate a call. I don't expect QFHI to send someone over here within the hour, but I do expect to be treated as if my inquiry is not a silly nuisance, or worthy of a little condescension. It seems as if the company still has people in it who view your customers as a bit of a pain rather than the company's lifeblood. To be fair, though, QFHI is not alone in having this problem. It's an epidemic.

I had QF install solar panels on my house in October. Nick and crew did a good job but the back office stinks. They won't stop bothering me with sales calls, sometime 2 in one day and 4 the last month. Have tried many attempts to get off their sales list. Vampires. Okay let's hear your rebuttal QFHI....
