Gary Kluck, our CEO, has spent more than 50 years in construction, starting his career at 12 by assisting his father with concrete projects. President Gerry Anderson also brings over 50 years of home improvement experience. The foundation of Quality First is our 100+ years of combined experience; the rest is history.

we absolutely loooved Reona and my brand new kitchen. She was extremely helpful and accesible. The workers were very accommodating and efficient. Excellent work! I will be recommending to others!

Quality First took a large sum of money from my elderly (70's) parents and poured an uneven and discolored patio and retaining wall. The surface of both the patio and the retaining wall is wavy and sloppy. The texture varies from one area to the next. The seams are crooked. The weep holes are at uneven heights. The curbs are wonky. When my parents asked Quality First to correct their shoddy work, they simply painted over the patio, saying the paint would ""hide"" the unevenness of the original pigment mix. The result is even more of a mess! See all attached photographs. The patio and wall are still uneven and now they are in several colors as well. The second layer of paint began peeling almost immediately. When asked to fix this mess, this time the right way, Quality First blamed the location of the yard, saying it was too wet and the patio would never look the way my parents were promised it would. The patio and retaining wall Quality First delivered is far from the beautiful photos my parents were shown and far from what they were promised for their money. Would not do business with Quality First ever again under any circumstances.

If I could give a zero I would. What a joke!!! Customer service sucks, they failed to complete our contract, they ignored us for months, they broke our driveway but got out of it because my poor mom who signed a waiver is screwed!!! Crooked crooks. They are horrible. Please please please go somewhere else. They pass off responsibility and do not care about the extra thousands of dollars my mom will have to pay on top of the 24k for the roof!!!!!!!!

Quality First came through my neighborhood. I was just picking my daughter up from school sick. The sale pitch dorky guy came to meet me at my car with a sick child and I told him I was not interested in anything. He said ""no no I am not going to ask you anything"" as he proceeded to go on and on while I had a sick child there. I told him to leave and he still was talking. I got his company information and this was the company here. Based on this experience I would never go with this company for any business and see their reviews here are awful. I called 3 of my neighbors and warned them when this guy knocks on their doors. Nobody I know wants to do business like this. Methinks NOT!

First approached by aggressive canvasser then I received a call from a high pressure sales person who stated prices were going up in 2018. Need to have an hour talk wife must be present financing available, received 4-5 more calls stated not interested. Received a call from someone who said he was from Pacific Roofs had done a bid in 2015 not true scheduled a bid for the next day forgot to hang up the phone heard a high five and a ha ha ha I got him before he realized he left the phone on said oh that was my boss. Next Day two gentleman came not from Pacific Roofing but Quality First home improvement very professional this company has aggressive sales , deceptive tactics outrageous pricing I would never do business with them

I really do want to give them 5 stars, but... for whatever reason I just can't get them to come out and fix my fire pit they built in my backyard. I've called several times. I've even actually spoke to 3 or 4 different people. And I have gotten 3 or 4 different excuses why anyone has yet to come out and fix it. The last I talked to someone, the person told me that there is an actual work order for my issue. How long does one of those stay open?
We had small issues in the very beginning but QF fixed them and did do a good job. Now it's like they keep pointing the finger to someone else who they say doesn't work there anymore because that person dropped the ball. Hmmm

Let me tell you, this is the WORST Experience of my life I am 66 years old, disabled and retired. They promised savings with SOLAR. The process started Feb 7th, 2017. It worked for about three weeks total. (in June) Burned up my Electric Panel, SOLAR should never have been installed. I was without AC all summer, plus one by one my breakers had burned up until I had to pay a REAL Electrician to replace my Panel $2,000.00 plus Permit to install. SMUD had to remove my Solar Meter and Electric meter due to Arcing, for fear of my house Burning down October 30th. 2017. Whenever I called Quality to fix things, they blamed my AC man, of messing with the Breakers. This is completely a flat out lie. Their Man Travis, used a large bar and slammed the breaker into the Buss. I have been in contact with the BBB, but now after one year I am still paying for SOLAR that does not work, $600.00 a month attached to my property taxes and my Regular SMUD bill of $100-200 a month. The last letter I had from them on October 25th, 2017, was that there was nothing they could do for me.
So, I suggest slamming the door when they knock on your Door. I worked hard all my life and cannot imagine a
Company doing this, especially to an Elderly person.

Ok, here is our experience and hope that this helps in your research. We had contracted QHFI to install a solar system for us. After more than a year, we had a system that was far under performing (according to contract 8500KW, only produced ~6200KW) QFHI, Scott G (VP Ops) agreed to add additional panels after 5 months of delays, denials, and attempts to derail what was in the contract. Finally QFHI agreed to add 4 additional panels to the system. All was fine until the first rains of the year. Damage to the roof caused leaks and water damage. Reached out to Scott and Gary Kluck (Owner) Still trying to resolve these issues, result in non-returned calls, no responses to emails, and still battling.
So much for the 10 year warranty that they CLAIM to offer!!
STEER CLEAR!! They will not stand by what they sell/install.
What started out to be a good, green solution has gone all wrong

RUN. DON'T WALK. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED in THIS COMPANY.
I feel like I was promised the moon and got taken for a ride.
Paying top dollar for a roof and it's been nothing but trouble.
The tear off people never showed on scheduled date or a phone call.
First supply company delivered the wrong color materials. Nobody notices til we get home from work. Was told The Sage color has a little brown. But we were delivered Sandstone.
Then we notice the flashing is brown so we called again, oh you didn't want brown. Hell no we ordered charcol.
And they never covered the ac unit and all kinds of debris is on the fan blades and motor. And it's a brand new Trane unit.
I am giving them the chance to make it right. If they don't I will be adding alot more

Had my kitchen upgraded by Quality First. Job was completed within 2 weeks. Work started on time on day stated. All who came to the house for various aspects of upgrade were professional. The project coordinator Arthur is amazing. I had a cabinet corner lots of wasted space that he was able to transform into beautiful working space! My upgrade included lights, flooring, counter tops, and cabinets. I will be using Qualiy First again to upgrade other parts of my home. Thank you Arthur and your crew!!
