We put off replacing our decades old roof for years believing the project would be horrific. We had read about and heard first-hand accounts of bad experiences others endured. Getting a new roof is up there with root canals. If we had known of Q7 Roofing & Waterproofing Inc. sooner, we would not have put this off. Old shake roofing on our home and a detached structure presented fire and leak risks.

Our roof project was completed a few days ago in a timely manner and to a level beyond our expectations. If you are reading this and hesitant like we were, don't put it off. All roofing companies are not equal and not bad. We had several requests unique to our home that other roofing companies simply said no to during the bidding process. o each impressed us with their own style, skill set, and contributions
o 1 or more of them present each day resulting in overall good
communication and oversight
o all city inspections approved at first pass
o Vincente delivered on a promise to seal all roof openings from
squirrel/critter access each evening as we have several large oaks
overhanging the roof
o Carlos went above and beyond to ensure the attic clean-up was white
glove level. This was extremely important to us and emphazed during
the bid process. One Yelp highly rated roofer we contacted stated they
do not clean attics at all!
o Benjamin's leadership shined even brighter on the last day when the
small finishing details (final punch list by us after final city inspection
approval) needed completion and managing. Pleasing customers may be
harder than city inspectors.

o present on the job site periodically and available to us, if needed.
o they did not deliver an ""okay"" job; they sought excellence and complete
customer satisfaction - they hit the mark. (actually, they hit higher than
the mark and reminded us of how our own fathers conducted business
long ago - professionally with integrity and honor; their word is as good
as gold.) They delivered an EXCELLENT job.

Now we cannot truly know the entire quality job until the rains arrive, BUT we feel extremely confident it was done to code, extra measures were taken where asked. We also trust if anything were to happen in the next X years Q7 would step up to fix in a heartbeat.

I was in need of a new roof for my home + adjacent storage shed, and new storm drains. I contacted Q7 Roofing based on referrals that were provided on NextDoor.
Geo met with me to review material options, cost (which was very competitive and reasona le) and the timeline for completion. He also inspected the roof and took pics that helped me understand the extent of the wear the roof had incurred.
Geo is professional, knowledgeable and did not try to oversell me on anything I didn't need. Once the work began, Geo remained in regular contact with me to let me know how the work was progressing and continued to do so leading up to the completion of the project.
The end result was excellent and far exceeded my expectations.
Geo met with me one final time to provide me with a project folder that included before and after pics of the roof + the warranty documents.

He was patient and understanding when we couldn't begin roofing our home when originally planned, due to unforeseen circumstances. The original price quote was honored which we truly appreciated. This is one of the best crews we've had work on our home. The team was prompt and courteous. They began work at 8:00 o'clock sharp every morning and some were waiting beforehand. They kept things as tidy a possible...roofing can be a messy business, but they did their best. So grateful that they took the time to tarp the attic with plastic, to help minimize the debris that fell through the skip sheathing during the initial tear off.
