In February, they were contracted to reroof a duplex in Ione for the seller. When the roof was torn off the inspector, Kevin, came out and told the roofers were to replace the dry rot. When he came back out next, the inspector expected to be inspecting all new OSB in the areas indicated. However, he came back to a fully roofed house. They left rotten rafter tails and section under the overhang that was clearly dry-rotted. As the buyer, I did a walkthrough and noticed these areas so I called the office and a lady relayed my message to a man who I proceeded to send photos to. He insisted that the areas were good and passed inspection but failed to let me know that the inspection of the OSB was never done because the reroof had already been done. I called out the pest inspector to reinspect and he indeed confirmed dryrot. The contractor corresponded with the agents to charge another $360 to repair the areas he should have repaired the first time. We went ahead and paid it and assumed all was well. After recording the title, I went back out to find the section of OSB that was rotted had not been replaced. I let the inspector know and he red-flagged this company. They have never returned my calls.

DO NOT USE PRUDEN ROOFING:

They created an invoice/bid with my builder, without my approval and or authorization. (I never executed the contract)

Once I learned that the roof wasn't approved with my HOA, I stopped the job and my builder at the time canceled the contract in writing.

Pruden Roofing is actively pursuing me for costs and expenses for a roof that was NEVER APPROVED with the community HOA, NOR WAS THE BID REVIEWED, APPROVED, OR EXECUTED BY MYSELF.

I am now forced to get my legal council involved, as PRUDEN ROOFING continues to force threats of a legal situation with the hopes of obtaining payment for a job never approved by myself or the community HOA nor was the roof completed. (at this time we still don't have a roof)

I do not wish this type of situation on anyone as it is stressful, and a complete waste of time and money.

Prudent roofing did my roof five years ago. It developed a small leak in the big storm where the pool thermal panels are attached. This was expected and we didn't do the maintenance quite soon enough. Despite having so much work to do after the storm, Richard and Corey recaulked all the panel struts for a reasonable price. Thanks, guys! I'll remember to call you in 4 1/2 years next time.

I just called Pruden Roofing to clarify that they did work on my property. Richard is out on vacation and I was promised he will return my call when he returns. They are claiming of the review I left previously that they do not know me. I left my name, number and address to allow them to follow up. I am real and work done was real and the review was real. Perhaps because it was not a positive review they felt they need to disassociate from me and never asked me to call for clarification -- I called a few moments ago and can only hope Richard follows up with me. I will update this review later when I learn more.

Pruden Roofing replaced my tile roofing after an addition to my home. The contractor doing the addition noticed several broken tiles around my air conditioner that is mounted on my roof. After a total inspection of the roof, it was obvious that the entire roof was in need of replacement.
I was quoted a price for tear off of 3 layers of roofing, new plywood and a new comp roof from several roofing companies. After my homework was done, I contacted Pruden Roofing. Richard Pruden explained the process, timeline, and start and proposed finish dates.
The tear off crew arrived on time and were done in less than a day. When the trailer was removed from my driveway, there was not a trace of the removal on the ground.
The next morning the crew arrived and the process of a new roof began. Not only did the roof begin on time, it was finished a day ahead of schedule and is beautiful.
I highly recommend Pruden Roofing if you are in need of a new roof. They are very professional, and do a wonderful job.

They did a nice job on the roof itself, but unfortunately their worker punctured our air conditioner freon line in the attic with a roofing nail. Over $800 dollars in damages. I contacted Richard(owner) requesting some assistance($$) in sharing the repair cost. E-mailed him the details. He never responded. Pretty non-professional and gutless.

I met Tim Rubino with Pruden Roofing while they worked on my neighbor's house. They did such a great job for my neighbor I had Tim come give us a quote. He detailed the process and got back to us with the schedule. 2 weeks later they started on our house with the original 35 yr old shake roof. The finished product exceeded our expectations. The crews cleaned up after themselves everyday which was important to us. We've already noticed a huge difference in our electric bill due to the added insulation and heat reflective materials used. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRUDEN ROOFING if you care about quality. The compliments from the neighbors make it even better.
