I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Proyecto, as a photographer, documenting some of their completed projects. The attention to detail and superb craftsmanship of their work never ceases to amaze me. At many of the homes I've photographed, the owners were present and couldn't say enough good things about Abe and his team. The homeowners and I agree that Abe is quick to reply, extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. On my next upgrade/renovation I won't hesitate to ask Proyecto's team to make my designs a reality.

Abe and his partner Jose Manuel approached our company, Metro Lighting to collaborate with them on an extensive residential remodel in Berkeley. The goal was to create beautiful and unique lighting customized to enhance the design and to fit their budget. They were a pleasure to work with and we were all very pleased with the results. Proyecto is extremely dedicated to quality materials and fine craftsmanship, and is also supportive of local businesses. They are also budget conscious and sensitive to time schedules. We've since worked with them on a few more projects and highly recommend them.

Thanks to Proyecto my bathroom finally got it's makeover. I have been really impressed with the workmanship and professionalism of Abe and his team. From start to finish everything went very smoothly. Abe gave a bid that was appropriate for the job, Audrey was super helpful in guiding me through the design phase and Juan, Brayan and Brandon kept to the schedule and did a superior job. Great attention to all the details and they never grew impatient with my many questions and suggestions. The communication was key. They seemed to genuinely enjoy doing a great job and take pride in their work. Highly recommended!

**AMAZING company rant**

We ALL know home construction projects can be a major hassle, never finish on schedule and over budget AND service can be questionable.....

WELL NOT WITH PROYECTO! They were AMAZING from A-Z. From the first meeting with Abe to the planning sessions with the design/project manager teams (Audrey and Brian) and architects to meeting with Juan and ALL the employees who worked so hard to make my dream kitchen come true. And they completed the project ON TIME....YES I said on time. They were always available, friendly, kind, respectful, and willing to address any concerns.

I never thought I would enjoy a construction project this much. Previous projects were NOT fun BUT with Proyecto it was a partnership and a very enjoyable experience. I wish I had found my way to them sooner.

Proyecto did a beautiful job converting a big ugly room in our house into a laundry room/extension of the kitchen and a lovely bedroom with a walk-in closet. Every detail is meticulous: the newly laid hardwood floors perfectly match the rest of the house; the floating shelves were invisibly pegged into the wall; the custom cabinets around the relocated washer and dryer make doing laundry a pleasure.
The product is impressive, and the process was just as good. What a responsive, prompt, friendly team! They were so fun to work with, and they got the job done right on schedule and on budget. And a few weeks later, after they'd been paid, I noticed that there was a little problem with the new door handle - one of them was there first thing the next morning and it was fixed in a few minutes.
I wish I could give them six stars! Hire them!

I would give them 50 stars if I could. It's great to see there are still companies that do business in a honest straight forward manner. I needed a quote for getting two extremely large and heavy display boards up on a brick wall, which sounds much easier than it actually is. After hassling with two other companies that could not give me a bottom line estimate, massive price range with a few hundred ""if"" clauses of needing to add reinforcements and supports I contacted Proyecto. Abe came out and looked at the job and he was immediately able to assess exactly what had to be done and how long it would take. I received a fair estimate with no if's that would keep adding to the cost. Knowledge and honesty is a great combination! Thank you

The folks at Proyecto are phenomenal. I am a personal friend of Abe's, the head of the company, and after the bathroom remodel we are still close, which speaks volumes of the job they've done. I love my new bathroom, as does my wife. I highly recommend Proyecto. If you want to remodel your bathroom or kitchen, give them a call.

We absolutely loved working with Abe and the whole Proyecto team. Abe is always there to answer your call or your text which is great, but most importantly his team does incredible work and shows total dedication to details.

I'd like to highlight one more unique aspect about our project. My wife was pregnant during our work and we were very sensitive about our move in date given that (and the cost of double rent). We worked closely with Abe to make sure the house was ready for us on our requested move-in date -- there were definitely things not fully completed but the house was totally ready to be lived in when we needed it. I tell folks about this and they are amazed.

In the end of the day from start to finish we scoped work, signed contracts , did demo (kitchen and 2 bathrooms to studs), permits, bought all our appliances and tiles , painted the whole interior, moved HVAC ducts, moved water heaters , moved washer and dryers, build an incredible wall custom shelf unit, and added new lighting and fixtures in roughly 3 months. Pretty amazing.

We highly recommend Proyecto to anyone looking to do a project and are already speaking to him about our next project.

I worked with Proyecto recently. My experience was very positive and I would consider them again for any future project.

Pros:
We're very happy with the quality of the work.

Fast turnaround - our small bathroom remodel took just a few weeks to complete, including permits and inspections, as well as tweaks the team made for us after the contract was complete.

Competitive bid - we did a flat rate and felt very taken care in terms of scope (labor + materials), timeline, and assurances

Communication and flexibility - the team stayed in constant contact and it was easy to get in touch whenever needed. Changes and questions were addressed immediately.

We felt absolutely comfortable with the team in our home.

Cons:
* I recommend creating or requesting complete checklists on the purchases, placement, etc. As first-time renovators, we could have used some more direct guidance from our designer and Proyecto.

In all, fantastic group to work with, and you'll be in good hands.

The Proyecto team is professional, curteous, and efficient. I looked at their kitchens and bathrooms and had them remodel a bathroom. Beautiful and practical! The guys couldn't have been nicer and the cost was reasonable.
