I was planning on writing a whole review with my entire experience but honestly, the main thing you need to know is how bad they are with keeping you updated with what's going on and how long it is taking to finish. My project for both roof and solar is still not done and it has been 9+ months. I will list some examples of time frames.

1. It took them a week to get back to me when I first signed the contract. I don't even know if they would even contact me first if I hadn't contacted them.
2. It took them a month to get the roof done from signing the contract.
3. It took them around two months for them to design my solar layout only to be told they actually couldn't fit all the panels they promised.
4. It took them another month to finally get the solar on my roof.

And then the city inspections started...

There is a part on my roof where 1 panel is on one side and then 2 on another. When the installers came, they notified me that they could put all 3 panels on one side. They asked me if I was ok with doing this and I said yes because I thought that maybe I could put more panels on the other side later down the road if needed since they already couldn't put all the panels we initially agreed upon. Turns out it was not ok and failed the first city inspection. They had move the one panel to the other side which left holes in the roof (they did fix them at least.) The first inspection was 100% their fault and if they had followed the original design plans from the start, we might have been able to avoid all the other inspections.

Every time they failed an inspection, it has taken them two weeks to get a fix and then another two weeks to get another inspector out and I have to keep trying to contact them otherwise it's just not going to get done or take even longer for them to do something. I think we have had 4 inspections so far but have lost count because of how long it takes to get to the next one.

I wanted to wait for everything to finish to write a review but last week they said we would have another inspection yesterday or today but I have had no update from them. Send an email, no response. Call my project manager, no pickup and you can't leave a message. Disgraceful.

The onsite people have been nice and seemed to do the work well enough. They aren't very careful when it comes plants and gutters. They are going to have to replace some gutters since they damaged them and the plants, well, I will let that go.

I went with them because they had the best price by a pretty big margin. I was willing to let a lot slide because I would be saving a good amount compared to other installers. Right now, I think I would have preferred paying the extra as this has just been more head ache then the savings are worth. My roof is abnormal and steep so maybe that might play a role in all this and if your roof is more standard or flat, it might be worth the savings.

Absolutely loved working with this company, Patrick and his entire crew were incredibly helpful knowledgeable and always went above and beyond at every facet of the job. I cannot recommend them enough they did an Excellent job! They even took care of work that was not their responsibility, but just to ensure that the job went as smooth and efficiently as possible I am incredibly pleased with everything.
Do yourself a favor and if you need Solar only hire this company.

ProSolar recently came up to our farm to install a full solar system . They were very efficient and they did everything in one day.
I am so happy that our electricity bill went from $400 a month to $15.00
I am thrilled to say the least!!
We would definitely call ProSolar for our next job!!

My experience with ProSolar follow-ups has been very poor. I signed contract with ProSolar in mid-April 2023. The installation look a long time (6 months) but finally got completed just before the Labor Day 2023. Then it took over 6 weeks for ProSolar to get the required city inspection completed, which finally got done on Oct 20, 2023. Since then I have been asking ProSolar about PTO from PGE (which is needed to operate the solar system) but even until today (Nov 28), there is no clear answer from ProSolar regarding the status. My text and email messages are not answered by ProSolar in a timely manner. ProSolar hasn't called to update me about the status of workflow throughout entire project--which is still incomplete--since mid-April.

Great customer service and Patrick (owner) goes above and beyond with his customer service. We haven't decided yet on a company, as it is a big investment, but when I do, I'm hoping Climate Solar Solutions will be in the running.

I wanted a local business, I am in Mar Vista, for a Solar Removal and Reinstall since I was having my roof redone in March 2021. I found Patrick, Owner of Climate Solar Solutions in Venice, CA just a couple miles from my home; from the get-go, Patrick was personally involved. He was able to promptly come for a site inspection, provided an estimate quickly, and his quote beat my other estimates! He works neat and clean and kept in communication with me regarding the work. When the roofing was complete, Patric quickly reinstalled the panels to assure I was not losing any time from my solar equipment production. Very impressed thus far.

Then my garage had a small leak in December 2021. I contacted the roofers and Patrick since I do have Solar Panels above the garage. Again, he was quick to respond and personally checked all panels for any possible leak! He reassured me of his processes of installation and how he seals every part that goes into the roof - but nonetheless, he removed all 7 panels, and inspected each area. And everything was right on and no leaks from the panels! Then, Patrick personally scheduled a meeting with the roofers the following day so they could both review the roof and determine the cause of the leak. Impressive!

I highly recommend Patrick! He is Owner operated, does great and clean work, is interested in his customer being satisfied, and he is local to West LA.

Patrick and his team installed our solar a little less than a year ago. He was a pleasure to work with--always on time, delivered what he promised, communicated reliably and clearly. An all-around great job. My neighbors across the street used him on my recommendation and they're very happy as well. Also, Patrick's prices were terrific. His system came in several thousand dollars less than some of the other bids. Patrick's just a really nice guy, who works super hard. Can't recommend him highly enough!
