Gerald was the salesman who came to give me a proposal after the hail damage. He showed up in a car with a woman driving, and she stayed in the car the whole time. (which I found to be unprofessional) He went on the roof, did his thing, said he'd get back to office and work up numbers and get them to me. I received them, I received many quotes, I decided to use them for a hidden fastener metal roof. I asked him to clarify his quote, as to what structures it included and what exactly would be used. He sent me the quotes back stating including home and detached garage and the gauge of metal etc, all was included. So, I sign the proposal and send back to him, he sends me a form to have notarized... I do that, he schedules an appointment to come and have me sign other papers, says he's on his way, then 20 min after appointment time calls and says he's stuck in traffic and will be there in about 15 minutes.... he never shows, I call to check an hour later, no answer..... check my email, he sent me an email stating that he had to stop at office to adjust my proposal because he forgot to add my detached garage... I said no, it states on my proposal that it's included... he said well, it wasn't. and he didn't want to come to me because that's not the way he does business.
I'm sorry, but not showing, or calling to cancel is not good business either. You quoted a price, you verified all that was included in price, then day of appointment, decide no, I need to change price.... BAD BUSINESS choice!!
