This review relates to their sales practices. A sales representative came by my house and asked if I would be interested in a free quote with no obligation. I responded that I was not ready to buy a roof right now but would likely need to deal with that soon. I was told the quote would be good for one year. I agreed to have someone come by and give me a quote. A young man representing the company came by at the scheduled appointment time. His name was James, and he did what I believe to be a thorough inspection. He and I then had an informative discussion regarding how quality roofing should be done. I learned a lot and I was impressed with James and his communicative abilities.

However, the whole pleasant affair took a turn south when he started really pressuring me to sign today, right now, to agree to a contract. I reminded James, that I told him when he came in that I wasn't going to sign anything today. He did not immediately accept 'no' for an answer and kept trying to get me to sign. He offered me a $5,000 discount on a near 30K quote to sign right now and informed me multiple times that the offer could not be extended past today.

Asking you to sign a contract immediately without allowing time for comparison or seeking other quotes should not be considered ethical. While time-limited offers are of course, common in sales, it's crucial to ensure that customers have adequate time to evaluate their options.

I did refuse to sign, and I still intend to make several comparisons before I authorize anyone to put a new roof on. James did ask me to give him a good review on Yelp and I'm doing that while still pointing out what I believe to be the negatives.

they do a phenomenal job I've had multiple roofing issues in many houses I always call gil and he sends a worker out and next day they're fixing it I definitely recommend them

We got our roof done roughly about 2 weeks ago with Proper Roofing deal with extremely responsive and answered all of our questions gave us a fair price and the work was outstanding

Gil was a pleasure to work with. He understood my needs and gave me a fantastic quote. By far the most reasonable quote I received based on all facets of a reroof. I definitely would use him again. My only con would be that his crew could spend a little more time cleaning up each day. However, we did have a lot of rain on the days they were here.
