Roof issues: I made the mistake picking Proguard Restoration to replace my roof after the 2015 Hail Storm! Many of my neighbors picked them in Qual's Landing, as their sign was displaced in their front yards. I assumed they did their due diligence and I could save some time. They were great getting the insurance to approve it. After that all down hill. They put the wrong color on my roof, did not replace the gutters or the top of the pool screen. The insurance reimbursed them for gutters and screen repair. They said the gutters were fine and they don't do screen repairs after the job. Then the real problems started! Two leaks in two of my bathrooms within months of a new roof. They did something on top of the roof and sent a painter out with no paint or English. It finally got fixed, but you can see were it was fixed. A few weeks ago we noticed discoloration on the ceiling of the third bathroom. A few days ago after, water had come into the bathroom vent and soaked my toilet. It was raining and nobody took a shower. I thought initially my husband had an accident until I saw water dripping from the vent. I have discoloration on the wall too. I called Proguard Restoration yesterday and Debbie stated that they only have a two year workmanship warranty and the 2017 Hurricane would of voided my warranty anyway. She was happy to send someone out to fix it and charge me though. This warranty is NOT industry standard and I was told that the shingles had a 50 year Warranty. Proguard is sketchy, dishonest, and did a terrible job!! I have Wales Roofing coming out on Monday that I trust! Wanted to share as a lot of my neighbors may of used them and hoping that all of my neighbors know about this horrible company!!! Now I have to pay another company to fix it. The experience of working with this company really surprised me in a good way! I was a little hesitant at first after one of their salesman approached me, I did my research and saw some bad things and a I saw some good things. I figured I would give them a chance though since the offer i was getting from them was so good, and I'm glad to say I couldn't be happier with their work! they made sure I understood everything that would be involved, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and got the job done extremely quickly. They even have their own trailer for the trash that they took with them both nights by the time I got home from work so I didn't have to worry about having a big ol dumpster parked in front of my house for three days. These guys were great and I definitely will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs help in the future.

**UPDATE: I had another company come out to give me a quote for our roof this company neglected to repair. He went up and looked around and said it was such a quick and easy job that he was just going to take care of it free of charge. It took him less than 10mins to fix it. He said it was just a tile that has moved out of place. He also said it probably took this company a lot longer to put up the tarp than to fix it because to take it down it took him a good 30 min. I am more than angry that something so simple took 4 months to get resolved.


This company is so shady that I wish I can give them a 0 star. I called them because my roof was leaking the day before our vacation. They said they can't have someone out right away so we agreed on putting a $650 tarp on the roof until we got back from our vacation. When we got back we noticed the tarp was placed on the wrong place and water kept dripping inside the house. I had called and complained and they did have it put in the right place but since May till now (end of September) they have scheduled three times to come out and ""take a look/fix"" the problem but didn't show up for the appointments. The owners son in law came out to my house sincerely apologizing for all the no shows and ""miscommunications"" and personally told me his crew was going to be out that Saturday to figure things out. I wait all day and no crew. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Then I contact them again and they keep telling me to wait and they'll check the schedule. Finally today I contact them and ask if they will do it or not so i can move on with another company. The receptionist calls me and tells me they don't do repairs. WHAT?!?!!!! So why have I been wasting my time for the past 4months???? She states she told me upfront that they don't do repairs but the owner's son in law told me he will take care of it. LACK IF COMMUNICATION MUCH?!?!!
They were also suppose to do our roof in our office (which had a bigger leak on the same day our house leaked, go figure) and they either didn't show up for appointments or kept leading us on. Our staff had better judgement and hired a different company to do the job but since they put up the tarp I wanted to give these guys the chance to finish the job. I guess a customer's loyalty means nothing to this company. I am very disappointed at the lack of customer service with them.
