The poorest quality in work I have ever witnessed. It started off with Dave being very nice and professional. However, one the work started it went from professional to horrible. They did not show up when they were supposed to, then when they showed up, they worked for only 1 hour and left. Another time they showed up and worked for 2 hours and left. It took them nearly 1 month to do a job Dave said would take 1 to 2 weeks max. Needless to say, the work was / is horrible. I have facia boards on backwards, the end cuts are sloppy which they tried to cover up with sealant. The tore down my cable wire which is still hanging because I have to pay to have it all taken down and reinstalled. They did not finish all the work that I was contracted to do, they left all their trash behind which he told me they would dispose of, and of course when I made mention of all these complaints, Dave never called me back nor did they try to correct the issues. Dave is a poor excuse for a business man! I am also going to file a compliant with the licensing board for his shady work. Good luck to anyone that decides to use him.

March 6, 2019. It's sad when it takes this long for a response. Please read all the DATES. Today is March 6th 2019. When an owner of a ""company"" is to incompetent to respond to the people they take money from but waites a year to insult you, that should tell you something. Read other reviews. Im not the only one. Go to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. (BBB) Here is the link so you can check for yourself.. Just COPT AND PAST AND YOU WILL SEE: They ARE NOT ACCREDITED!!!!

So unless you want somebody calling you a liar years after they take your money. Chose a real company with class and respect. I regret my choice, you will too!

A month ago I met with Dave from Progressive Energy to talk about getting solar. This is the third solar company to pitch solar to us and in general I wasn't to impressed. The first two companies were very nice but I just got that rushed, pushed feeling. All three companies were comparably priced but Dave was very thorough. I next felt pushed to sign a contract and was overall impressed with his appearance and demeanor.
After we signed a contract with Dave and Progressive all I could think about was Oh god, here we go with the contractors and the hurry up and wait. This unfortunately has been my experience dealing with different contractors over the past few home improvement projects. Well to my surprise, not only did the installers show up on time but Dave was the first to greet me and my husband before the installation. Dave introduced me to his team and then they went to work. My expectations was that this project was going to take a week or two even though Dave assured me the installation may take a few days from start to finish.
Two days later, I'm happy to say that my solar system was completed and Dave showed me how to work the monitoring.
I have read a few of the reviews about Progressive and let me say, I'm sorry a few others didn't have the same experience as we did. I highly recommend Progressive Energy and would strongly recommend for sceptics like my self, just ask for Dave. I'm confident you will be thankful you did.

I won't ever use them again. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. All I can say is, don't use them for anything other than solar. They subcontract everything outside of it, and you'd get cheaper prices if you subcontracted work yourself. I'm stuck with a patio that leaks and artificial turf that literally melted (twice). They reinstalled the turf, and it melted again after telling me that if I had my windows tinted, it wouldn't happen again. They assisted with payment on the window tinting because they didn't realize windows can melt the turf and didn't inform me of this either. They told me this was in the turf warranty (that I am yet to be provided). They stopped calling back when I informed them of the turf melting again, even subsequent to the windows of my home being tinted.

I filed a complaint with HERO, and I was told by Don they wouldn't fix anything until I dropped the complaint. HERO eventually stepped in to ensure they fixed the problems the first time around. I didn't bother filing a second complaint when the turf melted the second time around because HERO wasn't much help.

There is much more to this story, including them having the nerve of asking me to write them a favorable letter after all of our negative dealings with them. I see Dave likes to respond to bad reviews. He knows there is no disputing this review, and Yelp should know I'm not some terrible reviewer. Plus, this was all documented by HERO. I should have written this long ago because I see the same thing has happened to others since I had them do this work nearly two years ago.

Again, I had no problems with their solar services, but their other work was extremely problematic. Some companies should stick to what they're good at.

Needed solar panels removed and replaced for shingle replacement on my roof. Called Progressive and spoke with Jaime who was more than helpful. She was able to get guys out the next day to remove the panels without any hassle. Once the roof was replaced, I gave Progressive a call back and they were able to get guys out the same day to put the panels back on. I will definitely be calling Progressive back for any future energy solution needs!

I chose Progressive Energy Solutions over many competitors because of their professionalism, customer service, and price. They took the time to answer all my questions! Their installation crew was clean, and their fit and finish exceeded my expectations. I have referred Dave and his company to friends and family with equally satisfying results. There are a million companies in the solar installation business, this is the one you want to call.

First off stay away from this scum bag company. Only importance is sales. No customer service. No customer is valued. As a hard working Mexican American I have trouble making ends meat as it is. Now on top of all the stress i have I have these guys screwing me over with lies and deception. I dont use much energy at my home. So they told me i would be receiving major credits towards my bill maybe even a check since my solar panels would produce more electricity than I used. So i went on for months without looking at my electric bill. Now my power got turned off and i was told i owe the electric company over 1 thousand dollars. So i looked at the usage chart and it turns out I've been using more electricity with these panels then I ever have without them. I dont know what they did but they did something wrong. So i called customer service and they said i was SOL pretty much but they said it very nicely. I wouod stay away from this company. I wished i would have read the reviews b4 buying from them. This is all about sales and not about customer satisfaction. These scum bags dont care about hard working Americans. They will turn their backs on anyone who has a problem that will cost them money.
