Recommended Customer Reviews
For such a large homeowner purchase, the customer experience throughout made working with Proformance a low stress experience. They delivered everything they promised - a quote that day, dropped off materials on roof the day before, workers on the roof by 7am less than a week later, passed inspection a week after that, and wind mitigation report completed 10 days later for insurance purposes. What more could we ask for?
James, the sale rep, was so easy to deal with and answered every question I had immediately. He stopped by when in the area to make sure everything was going well. After the county inspection and the wind mitigation inspection, James came by again to look at the roof himself. It was a smooth experience.
We would NOT recommend PROFORMANCE ROOFING company!
We had Proformance Roofing put on a new roof in July of 2018 after the hurricanes in 2017. We had an issue with the new roof but they made the repair and it was fine. This past February (2021), we noticed that the roof was dipping on the corner and called them as we were still within the 3-year warrantee time. They came out to inspect the roof and said the issue was not part of the 3-year warrantee. They gave us a Service Order of $1500.00 to make the repairs by adding supports on both soffits on that side of the house. After several calls, emails, the service manager came out to reinspect it. He stated that the person who wrote the Service Order was no longer with them and did not have a copy of it. We provide him with our copy and he said he would make the repairs. Once again, after several calls, text messages, scheduled appointments where no one showed up, they finally sent out 2 so called roofers who made the roof worse than it was. They then sent out another team but they only did half the work. One of the replies was ""The repairs on this job are done she's asking for extra work to be done now"". We were not asking for more to be done we just wanted the work that was stated on the Service Order to be completed. They happily accepted full payment for half the work!
Installed new roof, and damaged ceiling around pool and garage area, damaged gutters and dropped nails in pool, all pool floor rust spots from nails , new sky lights leaking in the attic, shingles on ridge not nailed, City inspection didn't pass for 10 days waiting for them to come and fix issues with installation.
Bad communication between company personal, each will tell you, will till manager and the contractor who THEY CONTRACTED THE ROOFING BUSINESS WITH , never get back with customer .
Never trust them, very bad company.
M J.Tim was very responsive when I requested a quote and he stayed in contact with me through the entire process. Courtney and Marissa in the office kept me updated on supplies and other communication. Ron and the crew showed up bright and early every day and worked so very hard all. day. long. Every. Day. Ron kept me updated on the whole process of replacing the roof and the things they were doing to make the roof safe and look nice. I could not be happier or more impressed with everyone at ProFormance Roofing. This is not a fun home improvement project but a very necessary one and everyone at ProFormance was professional, kind, informative and made the whole process as painless as possible. I highly recommend ProFormance Roofing!
Ask for Tim - he was an awesome rep. Walked me through the insurance process and was on the ball. He even fixed an error that was an oversight on my part - at no cost. Can't say enough about this company!
We had two roofs installed and couldn't be more satisfied with the work from Proformance! From the quoting process, on-site crew and final inspection, the team at Proformance was very diligent in making sure we were well taken care of! The attention to detail from the crew who installed our roofs was impressive! They left our properties impeccably clean! Very pleased and highly recommended!
Performance Roofing was amazing! We needed a whole new roof for our home and they beat 4 quotes we got and by several thousand dollars. Chaz Williams our sales rep went above and beyond keeping us posted on updates and answering any questions and concerns we had. Performance even had a piece we needed custom made and did not give up until the job was done perfect. They are a company that cares about doing the job right and Chaz is the person to ask for when getting a quote. He works for you, making sure you are 100% happy! We will no longer go to any other company for our roofing needs and will refer them to everyone we know!
Randolph B.David Rios and his crew replaced our roof. David was on site all day to supervise and advise if any issues came up. The crew worked hard in the hot sun and never missed a beat. From the moment they picked up their tools until they were finished was one day. A few of our neighbors have ad roofs done in the last year, and they all took more than one day. They use quality materials and do a great job. After their clean-up, there isn't a single piece of trash left in the yard. What a great company!
Taylor A.These guys will strive to ensure you are completely happy. With so many roofing companies out there you can rest assure they will take excellent care of you. Fast, professional and quality work.
My husband hired this company to replace our roof after it was damaged in the 2017 hurricanes late last year. They were supposed to start our job today or tomorrow but showed up yesterday, I day early, without calling us to announce they were coming. There was no permit posted or proof of a permit given to us prior to the workers showing up yesterday. I was asleep and was awoken by someone messing with our trash cans and then there was loud noise on our roof. I went outside to find several workers, only one who would speak some English to me. They had no proof of permit, no trash dumpster, and the replacement shingles had not even been delivered. A tarp had been placed on the ground in front of my car, These workers started working on my roof before I could get dressed and run outside to see what was going on. In addition, no one from this company called us and no one knocked on the door to let us know they wanted to start the job a day early. These workers just proceeded to start tearing shingles from my roof without permission for that day and withou the permit in our possession. Had I been given notice they were coming that day, I would have moved the car. I also would have let my dogs out in the yard to use the bathroom before the roofing nails start flying all around. We have a terminally ill dog that we told this company about along with 2 other dogs. They said they would take special precautions because we have these dogs. None of the workers, including the foreman knew we had dogs. They said the company never gave them that information. Also, If I needed to leave the house for the dog that is ill in order to take her to the vet, I need my car parked in a place and not blocked to do so. Had I known they were coming on a day that was not scheduled to do our roof, I would have moved that car in the case i had an emergency concerning this dog. In addition, the foreman for the job wasn't there when these workers arrived. He only arrived at our home approximately 45 minutes after I told the one barely English speaking worker that they gave no notice of showing up 1 day early and since we there was no permit posted or shown to us and we had no proof of their company having workers compensation or general liability insurance, that they would need to leave. These workers waited in the driveway until the foreman showed up and he brought along the permit for this roofing job on our house when he came. That permit should have been posted days before anyone arrived at our home to do the work. I called the company while we were waiting for the foreman to arrive and asked to speak to the owner. I was transferred to a man who said he was the manager. I proceeded to tell him what had occurred and he got very defensive and disconnected the call. When I called back, the company's voice mail answered. I told the foreman about this when he arrived and then I told a woman employee of this company who arrived to try to smooth things over with me and they said the man I spoke with was the owner and not the manager. They both said he doesn't like to tell people he's the owner. When I told them how rude he was, the woman employee told me he needed to take a customer service class. I also addressed with this woman, Tabitha the fact that we had not been given proof that their company had workers compensation or general liability insurance. She said that proof of insurance wasn't included in the package my husband received from the company because, ""...he didn't know to ask for it."" I was an insurance agent for most of my career life and understand that when one has a contractor work on one's home that you need proof of these insurances incase a worker(s) hurt themselves on a job or something occurs that would present a liability due to work on your property. This woman said she would call the insurer for copies of the insurance certifcates with us named as the certificate holder...That should have already been in this company's possession since they knew they were coming to our property to complete the job. The woman said it might take 24 hours to get a copy. I have issued countless numbers of Evidence of Insurance Certificates during my years as an insurance agent and when there is a rush circumstance like this, the certificate can be issued and forwarded by email in 5 minutes at the most. After these folks left, I walked down to the mail box and while I was walking in my driveway I found a beer cap next to the area where the workers parked in my driveway. i called the company and left a message that the workers were not to come back until we had proof of insurance. When I spoke to Tabitha in a following phone call she was very defensive and had an abrupt tone and said that the company decided to cancel their permit/contract with us at no cost to us because we wouldnt' be happy with our experience with them...Well who would be with the events that occurred.
