James D.Thanks for coming out and taking care of my roof repairs so quickly so I could close on my house in time
Kyle T.Highly recommended! Very knowledgeable and friendly service. Communicated with me at all steps of the job, and Amy's follow up was appreciated. New patio roof came out great no more leaks onto my patio thankfully!
Yall, if ProCo stops by your house beware...they approached the contractor my insurance company hired and started questioning him. The contractor felt uncomfortable answering any questions so they rang my doorbell and asked if they could inspect my roof. I said no thank you that I had the insurance company already looking into it. Apparently, they didn't like my answer and came back and started questioning the contractor again. My contractor told them he didn't want to speak to them. They said and I quote ""Are you having a bad day? Sounds like someone peed in your Wheaties. Let me give you some advice before you start being shitty to people you might try a little bit of kindness""
When I called the owner to tell them that was unacceptable he said that the contractor started it by not answering his questions. I explained to him that I had him on camera and he talked over me and told me it wasn't nice for my contractor to not answer his questions.
1st and for most this wasn't their property. 2nd my contractor is not obligated in any way to answer any questions. Lastly, when a potential client calls the said owner to address the issue, you don't blame someone else.
I am appalled that this is considered ok by this company.
Our roof started leaking on New Year's Eve and we reached out to Wesley from PROCO. We didn't expect to get an answer because of the holiday but he was on our roof New Year's day to assess the problem. We were quickly given pictures showing the damage, an explanation of what needed to be done, a couple options for the repair and an estimate for each option. Work was completed on and for the quoted price and I highly recommend them.
Rachel E.I did not end up hiring this company but my neighbor did. The work done on my neighbor's home was fantastic and I would have hired the company if it were not for their sales representative. I was upfront from the beginning that I would test the roofing company on price by seeing what they quoted before showing any prices from the insurance company. (Keep in mind, roofers use the EXACT same system as your insurance adjuster. It is 100% possible to get within a few hundred dollars of what insurance approved using that system.)
From the get go of not wanting to show dollar amounts, the rep was rather rude. Asked if I wanted a cash quote then instead of insurance. Told me saving any money wouldn't benefit me and that it was a fraud to not pay the deductible. I acknowledged directly at least twice that I had no problem paying the deductible and stated I could shop for better materials. Needless to say, the bid was $6k over the insurance amount. ($4k over if you remove my deductible.) She added labor in numerous spots to raise the bid as if labor isn't already included. Told me she'd upgrade me for free to IR3 shingles. (Everyone else upgrades to IR4...) I did not hire this company. And the fraud references still make me chuckle. It may help to know your clients...
I had a great experience with Pro Co and Matt Blunt. He came right out and gave me a quote for my parent's homes in Keller. Within 2 weeks they were replacing the roof and providing me with a transferable warranty for the new owner (the people who were purchasing my parent's house)
Matt and Jeremiah did a great job communicating with me and everything was just as they said it would be. The new home owner was thrilled that we had Selected Pro Co to replace the roof. I highly recommend them.
Rick M.The service that I received from Proco roofing company was excellent to say the least. From the time that Mike Cotten first came to our house until the job was completed we were treated with respect and courtesy. They went above and beyond what I would have ever expected, quite a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.
I'm not sure how to rate this company, as they did not do any work on my roof. However, I think customers should be aware of what happened with us during the bidding process. In case you don't read the entire saga, my complaint is that ProCo did not email me a bid as requested, and then attempted to start work without my permission.
4 days ago, I had ProCo come out to check out my leaking roof. Mike came out and attempted to diagnose what is causing the leaks. One of the leaks has not been found by any roofers that have come out so far, and he was not able to find the source of it either. Because of this, my husband and I wanted a bid for fixing the roof, and also for getting that entire side of the roof replaced. I specifically asked for both quotes before Mike left. That evening, I also texted him requesting an email with pictures and a quote for replacement of that section.
The next day, I texted him in the afternoon to ask again for an email with a bid for the roof, saying that I would like to get the roof fixed asap so I need a bid from his company. He responded saying he would get his repairman out Saturday morning to ""take care of it"" (which we had discussed would be looking at it to give me a quote). He said they would figure out what needs to be done when the repairman got there and pulled up the shingles. He promised a formal estimate ""later"" and gave me a ballpark estimate. I never got an email for a formal bid for the job and was under the impression that when the repairmen came out, it would be just to see what was going on and also to measure so they could give me a formal bid on the replacement.
2 days later, we decided not to use ProCo because I still had not gotten a bid on the work. 2 other companies had come out since then and emailed me bids.
This morning, I found ProCo leaning a ladder against my roof, about to climb up and start work. What in the world?! Mike said that since I had told him I wanted to get the work done before the storms next week, that he had workers out Saturday to fix it. I never got a price quote. He never disclosed how much the repair or replacement would cost me (not over the phone, email, or in person). I had signed ZERO paperwork and had not even told him that I was using them for this job. I asked Mike how they could begin work without my written permission and a contract, and he said they don't normally have contracts for just repairs.
I actually saw them as I was headed out the door. Had they come an hour later, I probably would have missed them, they would have done work on my roof and charged me, and we likely would have gone to court over this.
I talked to the owner immediately, and he seemed very surprised that one of his employees had attempted to begin work without having a formal contract in place. He also said that they have contracts for both repairs and replacements (which is not what Mike said). In light of this conversation, I do not think this is how he usually conducts business. However, it is ultimately his responsibility to train his employees, and this is simply unscrupulous business practice.
Jessica T.Proco Roofing is such a great company. I love that the employees strive to help the community, and offer free estimates to anyone who calls. They really go above and beyond compared to other companies.
First they will give you a no nonsense estimate, telling you what you need but not pressuring you to use their services. Next they'll work with your insurance company to ensure you get what you need, at the best price you can get it for. Then they do the best work you'll ever see.
The commitment to being professional and thorough is commendable. I highly recommend this company.
Aaron S.ProCo is shifting the paradigm of how roofing and construction should be done in regard to quality of work, and customer care. I've worked with numerous roofers, and ProCo had me almost baffled by how they went above and beyond to make sure EVERY. SINGLE. ASPECT of my roofing issue was taken care of in the RIGHT way. Everything from communication to follow up, and a confidence in the workmanship/warranty left me feeling a ton of peace about the decision to let the ProCo team take care of our home.
My favorite part is that they didn't just want to get my insurance company to buy me a new roof, which has been my experience in the past with roofing companies. They wanted to make sure my roof was in the appropriate shape to protect my home and family. Having ProCo in my ""rolodex"" frees up precious mental space and brings lots of peace!
