Pro-Tech Bros resealed the decking over two living spaces in the fall of 2015. It was particularly wet this past winter as we all know and the seal was perfect over both areas.

In general, it's quite difficult to find waterproofers, so trying to find really good ones involved a lot of work on my part (which hopefully this review will save someone else from having to do!) and a bit of luck. These guys -- who happen to really be brothers, by the way -- only do waterproofing, and they have many years of experience; they are true specialists. We liked that they were very precise, clear, careful, detail oriented and particular about their work, and great about answering questions -- I got the private cell numbers of the brothers who would reply to me even past 9:00 PM at night! They ended up coming to my home several times to make sure that the contractor in charge of laying the groundwork (carpentry mostly) achieved what they needed -- e.g., proper sloping, thick enough sub-floor, etc. When we were getting bids, they were the only ones with a plan for the driveway, too; their proposal was to waterproof the entire area from one side of the house to the other -- comprising two walkways and driveway -- which became like a shower pan. They were extremely generous, too. Since they ended the work, I've called them repeatedly to ask questions about the subsequent concrete work, and they even went out of their way to come to the house right away to assess the damage done by the concrete guys -- they nailed through the waterproofing! -- and fix it properly. While they were doing the original work, they also did a few extras, like repairing a gasket on the roof -- for free. Finally, they are really nice people. No wonder that they are heavily over-booked.

I hired these guys to seal my roof and decks and they did an ok job. When I had them return to reseal the deck when I got new sliding glass doors installed, they went home before the job was completed knowing full well that a big storm was coming the next day. I had a deluge come into the basement. When I contacted them numerous times they finally came out, first told me that they hadn't finished the job which was why I had the major waterfall inside my house and then tried to blame everyone else for their failure. They took care of some of the damage costs but failed to compensate me fully for the repair of the water damaged floor tiles. Needless to say, I would never use them again because, as nice as they appear to be, they don't really accept responsibility for their work.
