Elmer stated that: ""the leak was caused by a faulty clip attached to the plywood deck, not our workmanship."" So the clip must be there from the beginning as the leak start from the beginning. The worker should pro see the clip to take it out preventing the leak later. He cannot say because the clip faulted not their fault. It must be from the beginning to cause that damage to the ceiling. Since the leak is very small drop from the clip stick out from the shingle we just think maybe the wind was strong blew the rain through the vent on the roof and we believe that is a new roof No way it can be leak. Until we saw the ceiling stain and find out the wet. It is out of 3 years warranty but the leak is from the beginning by their negligent with the clip stick out not just happening now. And I know this is must be a bad workman ship, they failed the inspection twice with nails issue. I read this company reviews on Yelp and google and on any where the client can write the review, there is lots of leak after new roof replacement and they never fix the ceiling even once. He accused all other issues to cause the leak for not to repair the ceiling. I will be in the same case, not going to get the repair but want to let the world know to avoid this business.

The owner says he supplied pictures of the replaced wood. I give my consent to upload those pictures in his response to see if that matches up with the $4000 in wood charges I paid.

The owner says they emailed me twice with updates on the wood. They did not ask PRIOR to replacing the wood like their form says, they just did it.

Push comes to shove they are dishonest and his response shows that. Please upload the receipts showing how much wood I paid for, and show that wood on the roof of said project. I give permission. If it adds up I'll gladly delete my reviews. Hell I'll even give you $1000 out of my pocket.

Very competitive pricing, good communication, & did a great job. We have smaller home, took about 2-3 days due to rain delay & required inspection. They took care to cover our pool & front walk way. Easy online payment option. It's been about a week & we've had plenty of rain, no leaks.

I hate to give one star but first off I want to say they did an awesome job at replacing my roof, had the job done in 1 day. But, if something goes wrong afterwards good luck at getting them back out there. I have called for the last 2 months with either they are pulling my paperwork or they will call me back with a date to come out and look at my roof. Still today no call with a date, may have to get my attorney involved. They give you a workmanship warranty but then don't follow it.

The Company does not honor it's warranty liability.

Below is string of facts submitted to BBB.
Based on further interaction with Pro Roofing, I wanted to provide a detailed timeline of events related to my complaint:
1. On November 9, 2012, check #206, payable to Pro Roofing & Associates (""the Company"") in the amount of $15,400 cleared my bank account
2. This amount was paid to the Company to install a new roof on my primary residence
3. The process of installing the new roof went well and the job was handled professionally
4. The day the job was completed, I moved to Chicago and therefore, was unable to personally see if any leaks would develop post-install
5. My neighbor continued to check on my property during my absence and informed me that a leak had developed around a skylight over my pool deck.
6. I contacted Pro Roofing and they promptly returned to fix the leak in the roof, but not the damage to the ceiling over the pool deck. The reason for not fixing this damage was that they were concerned about fixing the ceiling without first knowing if the leak was 100% fixed on the roof. My understanding is roofing leaks around skylights are very common and can be tricky to repair.
7. As I lived in Chicago and returned to Orlando only every couple months, I was in no rush to have the ceiling repair completed.
8. Flash forward to the middle of August 2016. I'm in the process of selling the home and need the ceiling repaired. It is still under warranty and I reached out to the Company to return to the property and repair the ceiling.
9. I have communicated with the firm for over a month now and been given a daily run-around.
10. I have a voice mail from a representative of the Company stating the job would be taken care of under warranty.
11. During the past month I have spoken to 4 different employees who stated that they were bidding the repair out and the job would be started soon.
12. Yesterday, the Company owner (Elmer..first time I spoke with him) stated the repair would not be completed as they had no record of ever coming to home to repair a leak post-roof installation.
13. The Company (Elmer) also stated that based on their review of two photos I took and provided, that the damage appeared to come from moisture and time.
14. The individual the Company sent to my property to estimate the cost of the job confirmed that in his opinion, the damage came from water intrusion around the skylight.
15. I am in the process of requesting my personal cell phone records to prove that I contacted the Company well past the original installation date. Obviously, this does not prove I called about a leak, but why else would I call them several months after the install was complete.
16. The warranty on the roof covers damage caused from leaks and should cover the repair to the pool ceiling.
17. The Company's first position (Elmer) was that the damage was caused from moisture and time. When I told him their own estimator confirmed it was from leaking around the skylight, he then changed the story to one where the Company didn't even have records of a leak ever being repaired post original roof install.
18. I can't imagine they would have ever sent an estimator and communicated with me for over a month if there was zero record of a leak being repaired.
19. My neighbor who looks after my home is willing to execute a formal communication attesting to the fact that the skylight was leaking post-roof installation.
20. At this time, because I've wasted so much time in attempting to engage this firm to honor their warranty, I'm personally moving forward with the repairs in order to prepare the house for sale (and I'm using the same person that performed the original estimate for the Company).
