My wife and I really wanted to install solar on our historic old home. With clearance from the landmark society, I asked 4 different contractors to evaluate and bid. Two were fully ready to take our money and install solar. Mike, however, told us the truth of the matter, that we are not good candidates for solar because of all the great old shade trees surrounding our home, the fact that our roof is broken up with dormers that reduce the available panel space and that our solar exposure is all east/west with no southern sun exposure. By the time I got this information from Mike, I had learned enough to realize he was absolutely right. I am so appreciative of getting the truth instead of a sales pitch.

Further, Mike kept our scheduled in-person appointment to deliver this news and explained the problems thoroughly. He could easily have ""phoned it in."" He is clearly a man of honor and I have to believe that Prime Home Solutions is a company driven by substantial values and honesty. If we should ever move, I would trust this company for our solar needs.

It helped that Prime Home Solutions provided a highly competitive price. Once I committed to Joe, it was smooth sailing.

* Smooth permitting process? (Check, looking at you Yolanda!)
* Easy peasy installation (well, for me, anyway) - Yes, check! Mauricio and his gang got 13 gorgeous solid black panels installed and functioning in 4 hours.
* System inspection? Dennis was right there with me, but the City Inspector found no issues - everything was done right.
And communicating with PG&E to turn net metering on? Prime Home Solutions made it smooth as can be. Final Step, a simple download of mySolarEdge to monitor my system - done!

Prime worked with us at every step too make sure the install was top notch and what we wanted finding us high quality panels at a bargain and fighting the loan company when they wanted to back out of a signed agreement we had. Most solar installers I had contacted either didn't want to work with me because of my roof (stone coated metal tiles) or came back with proposals that show they didn't understand my needs.

So it was a breath of fresh air when Jeremy from Prime Home Solutions came out and not only addressed my concerns but took the time to learn what I was looking for and walk through the pros and cons of different scenarios.

The proposal came in at a great price and Jeremy continued spend time working with me to refine some of the smaller design details. I rarely recommend a company, but if you are frustrated with high PG&E bills, trust me - it's worth giving Brent a call. My wife and I just finished adding 27 more solar panels (already had 20 from our initial home build - wasn't enough) with Brent Baker and his company, Prime Home Solutions. Imagine having a minimal or no PG&E bill.

From the very beginning Brett O'Dell and his team at Prime Home Solutions were fantastic. Everything I was worried about such as a reroof and solar got taken care of with one simple phone call. They took care of our home like it was theirs! Their communication was superb even through this so called pandemic it was refreshing. Thanks for the new roof and solar. Jeremy with Prime Home Solutions is the gold standard for customer service. In an industry (customer service) that I feel has gone to complete crap he is the shining light through it. He speaks to his customers like a human on the other end of the phone that actually cares how he makes you feel, he cares that you his customer or potential customer are taken care of, respected and that your time is appreciated. He doesn't make you feel like a number on the assembly line, I never felt like I was being sold a line to get my business and always felt heard and respected.

Super Professional group. You could have set your watch by their scheduled time and actual time of arrival. The guys went to work at 8:00am and by 3:00pm the entire project was complete. Even went around the entire roof and grounds and made sure that every spec of materials was picked up. They were great to talk to and explained the steps when I asked. The equipment is running exactly as predicted and I could not be happier. After the project was complete, their customer service for any questions or help was terrific.
