Ron Pribble and his crew were very professional and did a quality job. They cleaned up well when finished. There have been no issues with the roof. Every time it rains, I thank Ron Pribble because the roof they replaced had major issues caused by another roofer. People I have referred to Pribble Roofing have also been very happy with their roofs.

Awful experience with this contractor. He said he is licensed, but he didnt act like it. He said he could do the job to take care of the leak we have in the roof. But then he said he cant warranty the job. What? Then why would I pay you with no assurance of it being taken care of.

Then he told me he wanted my home address. I said, can you email me a quote. He said no, he does not use computers. Ok, then how do you use thumbtack? He thought about it for a second, and then said, oh my son does it..VERY STRANGE.

Ron and his sons do an amazing job. They always show up on time give free estimate. They come back for the little details when you need them to. I wish there were more contractors like this in San Diego five stars.
They have done sloped roofs flat roofs and every type of flashing detail you can imagine for me including walkable roof decks. All of it looks beautiful and his leak free.

My family first worked with Ron in the early 90's. My parents did an extensive remodel to their spanish style home in Point Loma, which included a very complex roof design with skylights, gables, hips and valleys (I think that's what they are called). Anyways, Ron did a superb job on that house. Around 2005 my mom moved into a house in Bankers Hill that needed a new roof and again called Ron. This time the job was a simple composite roof and Ron's team completed it in a day or two if I recall correctly, they were very fast.

Ron Pribble is the man. He must be 80 years old by now, but still...he's the man. So he's one of these oldschoolers who believes in doing a job that lasts. My house in Chuli has a corrugated tin roof, so I have never had the pleasure of actually having a pribble roof, but I did work for the man on several jobs....that is before immigration cracked down on him for all the cash workers he had.

Anyway, Ron is truly attention to detail and knows a heck of a lot more than most any other roofer. He is on top of his guys and doesn't let anyone cut any corners. I hope he is still in business, because he will give you a 30 year roof in a blink. Whatever he's charging, he's worth it!
