I have been in your shoes. As the owner of a condo which was built in 1988 with a flat roof, I have certainly endured more than my share of roof leaks. (Flat roofs = worst invention ever!) I am also the president of the board of directors for my condominium association, and it is my fiduciary duty to act in the best interest for all members of the association. When it was time to shop around for a roofer, I took my job very seriously. In order to secure the best roofer for our association's needs, I personally met with and interviewed 13 different roofers in Miami. My goal was to find the most reliable, professional, and reasonably priced roofing contractor.

Adolfo, the owner of Presto Roofing, is a true pleasure to deal with. Not only was he more polite, more patient, and more punctual than all of the others, but his price was also much more reasonable than most of the others. (FYI: His price was not the cheapest. Cheapest does not equal the best. I was not looking for the cheapest. I was looking for the best.)

My quest for the best roofer in Miami was so thorough that I even drove up to Hialeah to pop in for a surprise visit at the Presto Roofing office. I must say, I was truly impressed with this family business and the cohesiveness of their operations. No wonder Presto Roofing has been in business for over 50 years, with Adolfo at the helm for the past 30 years. Everyone at the office was so friendly and polite, as well as helpful and informative. It is clearly apparent that Adolfo is a man of integrity who says what he means and means what he says.

Presto Roofing has never let me down. They have consistently provided quality work for the past 8 years, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is searching for a reputable roofing company a few notches above all the rest.

Got a quote for 3 leaks in roof (March 2015), two were fixed fine but another one was not. The one which was not fixed properly they came back out Nov 2015 to ""refix"" that one spot. April 2017 same spot is leaking again.

It was fine after the first round, but then in November 2015 when we had heavy rains the same spot that they supposedly fixed leaked again. I called them up and they came on to get it repaired as it was still under the 1 year warranty. I was at home when they came, they showed up at 10AM, I was in my office and then I heard the van leave at 10:10 AM. I called back Presto office to ask them what happened, if they went to get parts or something, the dispatcher said he would check, then called me back shortly after saying they fixed the issue. I told him that's surprising as I was there the entire time and didn't hear any ladder being put up and was very surprised that they could have fixed a leak on a two story house in 10 minutes. The dispatcher again told me his guys said they fixed it. So they are the professionals so I take their word for it. Sure enough April 2017 its leaking again(yes it's over a year later) but the truth is we really didn't have any real rain storms for a while and the roof only leaked when it was heavy rains. I called up Presto and spoke to owner and explained the whole story so he sent his guys out to do an assesment, sure enough its the same price as if i was doing a brand new fix $890 for the repair (I paid $2200 to fix 3 back in March 2015 so really is a bit more than a regular fix). The truth is if they had not done any work on it before, it's not a bad price but considering the circumstance I would have expected some type of reduction. I again explained to the owner that usually from all the other quotes I got and work that i have gotten done on my roof before when they fix a leak they usually open up a 4-5 foot radius around on the area just to double check, and he concurred, so then when he said this was a new spot which is why its priced like a new fix, I asked him if he saw the estimate which clearly has this ""new"" spot within 2 feet of the area that they supposedly fixed twice, he clearly side stepped that question and just told me he has to trust his estimator and I am not a professional (which I told him i fully agree) but I am just using some common sense to see that it's not making sense. Either way, long story, but they wont fix what they should have fixed in the first place, i even told the owner by no means am I looking to get this free, but just a fair price, which he told me I am looking to get it free (great business practice telling the customer what he is thinking). So I will have to get another company to get this fixed when I already paid Presto to do work which they didn't do a good job on.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY TRY AND SHORTCUT THE WORK TELLING ME THEY FIXED THE LEAK WHEN I KNOW THEY DIDN'T AS I WAS HOME WHEN THEY CAME BUT THEY DIDN'T KNOW.
