Belinda S.I hired Premiere South to replace the roof on my double in June of 2022. Two months later, it was leaking.
I contacted Matt LeFeaux, the project manager, who insisted it ""couldn't be"" leaking and suggested I contact an HVAC specialist to see if my HVAC was causing the problem. I did. The specialist found no issues with my HVAC but noted two concave areas on the roof. I contacted Matt again, who again denied the roof could be at fault and told me to contact another HVAC specialist. This one told me the exact same thing: my HVAC was fine, but there appeared to be serious deficiencies with my roof.
When I spoke with Matt again, he continually interrupted me to tell me there was ""no way"" anything could be wrong with the roof. I asked him to please stop intrrrupting me; he hung up on me and subsequently refused to take any of my calls. My husband had to deal with him after that.
Finally, after my husband contacted the owner, several people from the company came out and tried several fixes, none of which were effective. By this time, there was severe damage to the interior ceiling. Finally, they determined that there was damage that had not been adequately addressed before they had covered the roof with shingles. They removed the shingles, fixed the damage that should have been fixed to begin with, and replaced the shingles once again.
Then they sent me a $4000 repair bill - which I refused to pay, since most of the work should have been done at the beginning. After all, if they had fixed the damage when they first did the job, there would have been no need for the shingles to be removed and replaced. Finally I sent them a check for part of the repair work they'd done, minus the cost of the HVAC visits and ceiling repair. They complained about this, but they never took us to court, most likely because they realized they'd have lost.
Everything seemed fine for about a year. Now the roof is leaking again. It's a month past the warranty, and I wouldn't trust Premiere South to do anything, anyway. I'll hire another company to replace the whole stupid roof, if necessary, before I'll deal with these clowns again.
STAY AWAY FROM PREMIERE SOUTH ROOFING. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY.
I called Premier South on a Tuesday morning about a roof leak. The estimator called me back within a couple of hours and set up an appointment with me the next day. He helped me through the entire insurance process and made my life so much easier! They installed a beautiful hand nailed Atlas roof within 2 weeks of signing a contract!
Premier South replaced my roof and bent gutters in the process. It took about six weeks for them to come out after I had been told I would have a new roof in two weeks. They were also supposed to replace my chimney. That didn't happen for another six months. When the work was finally done, a piece of equipment(two-piece metal chimney stack) for which I paid was not even used. My money was not refunded for it, and it is still sitting on my driveway almost a year after Hurricane Ida. When the chimney was repaired, workers left sheet metal on top of the roof!
In Oct 2021, we called the roofing company that we have used on all of our homes, office and referred to friends, Premier South. Our commercial unit had a leak around a vent in the roof that needed some attention. A few weeks later, we get a call to set up the inspection. (Keep in mind this is the day and age of caller ID). I take the call and set it up for the following Wednesday. No one shows so I call on Thursday and was told that the inspector would be paged and I would get a return call. No one called so I called back Monday and was put through to the ""only person who schedules appointments"". She insinuated that I was lying and no one had called me to set up the initial inspection---remind you of caller ID. That her notes showed that she called numerous times and no one returned her call. Well (1) we are a business and some one would have answered the phone and (2) we received no such voice mails. Why wouldn't I return the call? I NEEDED SOMETHING!?!? She went as far to ask me if I really wanted to set up an appointment!? I sucked it up and reset the appointment for Nov 29th at 10:00a.m. DON'T BE SURPRISED WHEN I TELL YOU THEY DIDN'T SHOW AGAIN. So I called and the person who answered said that they showed us on the schedule and would text the inspector. Unsurprisingly, again, we heard nothing. I very loyal to people we have used and have had good experiences with. I name drop them every chance I get BUT I'm DONE. And fortunately there are other reputable roofing companies out there.
WARNING TO THE BUSINESS OWNER: your scheduler is sabotaging your business. You may be busy right now due to hurricane Ida but that will go away. Your reputation will not.
Shelley P.Company was hired by my landlord to replace my roof. Several workers were dropped off in my yard to start the job. For 2 days I had Tejano music blaring from my rooftop while they worked. They 'finished' the job yesterday but left tools scattered all over the yard along with nails, food wrappers, roofing packaging, extension cords and beer bottles- yep, beer bottles. Yesterday a woman appeared at my home with a very small child that she allowed to wander while the roofers worked.
Nothing has been cleaned up.
Earl J.I have used Premier so far three times. My business (Restaurant) I replaced the whole roof with a metal roof. I also replaced my whole roof at my home. Also with a metal roof. I have another building that I had replaced also with a metal roof. These guys do a wonderful job. Price is reasonable and service is great and professional.
These guys did a great job on my Baton Rouge home copper roofing. They did a dormer roof and a large section over my dining room. I have residential rental property and know most aspects of home maintenance... roofing, plumbing, electrical etc. Jeremy did a great job overseeing the crew and the work was done properly. Jeremy S.Noticed a few spots in the ceiling of my house and called this company after being recommended to them by a friend. The appraiser comes and meets my contractor who was doing some routine maintenance jobs around the house. The Job appraiser says he doesn't feel comfortable getting on the roof... ??? Says it's kinda windy and he doesn't like the pitch of the roof. Says he will meet my contractor the next day at 10am with one of his younger employees to inspect and bid the job. Never shows up and dodged calls. Later that day I call the company and deal with a secretary who acted as if I was bothering her. She calls the appraiser and then gets on the phone and very rudely tells me that The appraiser had already told me that he would come back in a day or two or three when he has a chance--and that I should have paid attention! This was one of the most bizarre things as this is not what he said and is unacceptable. We were never told anything like this and I wouldn't do business with a company who makes tentative appointments--totally unprofessional. I asked for a member of management to contact me. I was never contacted and the job appraiser never showed up! The house is 6100 sqft. Not sure why they are throwing away business like this but luckily they are not the only roofing company. I can not recommend dealing with this company. After reading other reviews it seems others have had similar experiences.
Joni G.I would give no stars if I could based on this companies horrible customer service. This company would never call me back to complete work on my home. It took them 3 weeks just to send someone out to give us an estimate on repairs, which we never received. They sent two guys out to look at our roof, but they never gave us any paperwork on what the estimated repairs would be. They said someone would be calling us back with the estimate and to schedule repairs. They NEVER CALLED! I should have realized that this was a sign of their poor business practices. When I called them to follow up, they would tell me that someone would call me back, but never did. Please save yourself the hassle and do not give this company your time or money, because they will only disappoint.
Update to first review. I had a horrible experience with this company. We received a new roof by this company last week and they trashed our property (with cigarettes and construction debris) in the process. Their workers left a mess when they walked off the job after it started raining. Our property stayed this way until they completed our roof 8 DAYS LATER. Not to mention they left all of their construction junk in our driveway when I specifically asked them not to block our garage. In the process I ended up damaging my car. After the job was completed I noticed they broke one of our flood lights and they did not even notify us about it. When I asked them to pay for it they gave me the run around...terrible business practices.

My new roof looks fantastic. I highly suggest using Premier South Roofing and Blayne if available!
