I worked with Derek Holland at Premier Roofing on a roof repair issue.
I trusted Derek and final bill was well above what i would i have thought possible. Over $20,000 for a repair not a new roof, and they only did part of the roof due to rain issues.

Bottom line never allow work to be done without a firm contract price for the completed job, of course I was told they need to start to see what they find. Based on my final charges I have a feeling i was taken advantage of.

We were out of town while Premier Roofing was working on our house. When we returned, I noticed that the paper towel rack was empty, which is not the norm. I soon realized that paper towels, plates, napkins, toilet tissue, and other items had been used up. Dinner plates had been used and returned to the wrong place. Flatware was missing from the drawer, and a cup I use for melting butter was gone. Also missing were several small tools I kept in a kitchen drawer: scissors, screwdrivers, pliers, utility knife, WD-40. A sheet of US flag stamps was gone from the kitchen island. There was a used towel and dirty rolled-up rug in the bathroom. We found empty beer cans in the pickup parked in the garage (seat completely reclined) and the hall closet.
Also while we were away, one of the workers pierced a water line with a nail. The water leaked into the master bathroom and bedroom for several days, damaging the electrical system, wallboard, and wood floor in the bedroom. We were being billed for 4 to 6 workers, 10 hours per day, 6 days a week, but ""no one noticed."" The site supervisor used our washing machine and clothes dryer to wash and dry towels and rugs from the flooded rooms. The washer was left filled with filthy water; the dryer was left filled with partially dried, mildewed rugs and towels. The dryer now heats, but the drum no longer turns. Our household vacuum sweeper was filled with construction dust. The motor runs but there is no longer suction. Outdoors, plants were trampled and killed and sprinkler heads were bent and broken.
This was our experience with Premier Roofing of Hilton Head.

Please be advised that William Trey Long, of Premier Roofing, did not follow through on a handshake promise that should we have any difficulties with his work, he would come back and rectify the situation. It was only 30 days and our roof leaked again in the same area he supposingly rectified. I believe he is unethical, takes advantage of people needing his services and dishonest. He washed his hands of our problem within 30 days. I am sorry I trusted him and recommended 6 neighbors to use his service. He basically lied. I would find someone else.

Tried twice to get an estimate for Premier Gutters but nobody has yet to call or show up. After seeing the reviews and not able to get a response to a simple ESTIMATE I sure would not trust or hire these people.

Great job on my garage roof. They made it match my house which I didn't think was possible. Friendly workers and very close to estimated cost despite some unforseen issues with water damage.
The guys came and worked nonstop with few breaks despite the heat.
Highly recommend. Had one problem with cleanup but forgivable due to my own mess.

Buyer beware. This company low balls estimates, then they send you an email that states the price is really $4,000.- 5000. more. Company's owner has not contacted me after numerous calls. I have all correspondence in writing and after I Face booked and called to speak with Mr Shannon Price who gave original quote as well as the owner of the Premier Roofing I am still waiting for a return phone call. Wasted my time and efforts to find reputable and honest roofer.
Hilton Head Island is still in recovery after Hurricane Mathew and if this wasn't price gouging I simply don't know what is. calling the State Attorney General's office to report this price gouging by Premier Roofing.

Watch out for over charges, one price for proposals and double for final bill. Have you had the same problem?
