Then the owner actually came out to give me a quote, he could of easily taken my money for a job not needed but he was totally honest and steered me in the right direction!! There needs to be more honest people and just good people like the owner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My mom lives in San Fernando and had to roof replacement while she was away traveling. We got the bid and scheduled to work to be done several weeks in advance. She is elderly and I had to supervise the replacement work being done remotely with pictures and video clips. The entire project was seamless. She arrived home from vacation during a huge rainstorm. Preferred Roofing has been our go-to roofer for over a decade. During the recent rains, we discovered a leak and booked a consult. We easily scheduled a visit within a week of our call. As always, David Paine arrived at the agreed-upon time and quickly inspired confidence with his professional manner. He listened to our concerns, offered sound advice and sought to make the solution as cost-effective as possible. After the no-charge consult, he saved us money on the repair by recommending a simple self-repair. They called the morning of the appointment to confirm they were coming and an hour prior to the arrival window, they called again with a better estimate allowing me to get some errands done. After at least 10 bids, we settled on Preferred Roofing. We have a large single story home in a canyon which suffered from chronic leaking and had multiple repairs. Preferred Roofing re-did our roof (tile reset with underlayment) and worked with another contractor to design special flashings to remediate the chronic problems. It was a large project, but they did an excellent job of solving the problems. They were very responsive to our issues and concerns. David, the roofers and the office staff are all friendly and easy to work with. We had no project issues and now have a roof that actually doesn't leak. We appreciate their hard work and efforts.

We had a leak down my son's wall yesterday. Left a message with Preferred Roofing and received a call back within 10 minutes. Spoke with Aaron and explained our situation. He was over our place within an hour and quickly patched the area on the roof that he thought the leak was coming from. So far so good, no leak. He did this complimentary and only asked that if we moved forward with fixing this section of our roof that we use Preferred Roofing. Also gave us a very fair quote on the spot of what it might cost to replace just that one section or another larger section that he thinks might continue to be an issue in the future. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism and speed.
