Michael and his crew installed wire mesh over places where rats were entering our attic space. Michael spotted the rats' scratch marks near the entries that even an exterminator failed to see. His crew successfully blocked the roof entries, and together with blocking screens that I put in the ground around our foundations, our rat problem has been solved. Michael was very prompt to reply to all inquiries and extremely helpful during our site visits. He is a pleasure to work with, and his team is very competent.

The leak in our roof in Berkeley seemed to be impossible to fix. Over a period of 5 years we hired 5 roofers and others who took a stab at fixing it and failed. This included a roofer who charged over $7500 to replace the whole section of the roof and the next time it rained - it was still dripping. Michael had a hard time convincing us that this time it would be repaired for real - he guaranteed it. His crew tested the roof carefully and throughly (unlike others) and figured out where the leak was originating. They repaired it for less than they quoted and the leak is gone! We're so glad a friend suggested Precision Roofing.

Workers tidied up totally, were very professional. Owner Michael Green is just a pleasure to do business with - he is friendly, likes people, is lovely to talk to, really cares about his company, his workers, and your roof, or so it seemed to me.

And he personally came over and climbed up on our roof to figure out what was going on!

We had thought we needed a whole new roof. Which we were putting off getting. But as the rains continued, urgently, there was a sound like a leak, like water running in the wall, every time it rained. Very disturbing.

First place I called to ""fix a possible hole"" never even called us back; and that place is very well known and I have listened to their ads for years. I had even memorized their phone number.

But then, _Thanks__ to Yelp! I called Precision Roofing and am very glad I did. Call back was fast, visit was fast, assessment was thorough, follow up was friendly and efficient. They came out the first dry day and were all done that same day.

No more disturbing sounds in the wall when it rains! Now I can enjoy the rain again!

We came home after the holiday weekend and found water damage that appeared to have come from our roof that leaked 3 floors down in our Kensignton Home. We called Precision Roofing and I talked to Michael directly and not only was he fully booked but he found a way to squeeze me in the same day for an estimate after I told him my concern that it would be raining yet again in a matter of days. He came and looked at our roof and said there was nothing wrong - and honestly - it was in great condition. But he was baffled as to why there was a leak! He came in and asked if we had checked behind our fridge (which we already did) and he went to look again to ensure that there wasn't a water leak there. Well - at first glance there wasn't but then he squeezed himself behind and low and behold - the drywall was wet and it was the fridge! This man came in, charged nothing, and wanted to help us at all cost to determine where the water came from. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He's experienced, credible, and honest. At every opportunity, if there was a way we could have tested the leak ourselves vs. his crew, he offered how we could do so and then call him back. I called other roofing companies about our tar and gravel roof and many said they didn't deal with that type of roof and didn't even provide a rec. When its time to replace our roof again, I'll call Precision!

I am really surprised to read Meychelle's review. This company was terrific, fixed the bad mistakes of a contractor who did our roof, did not try to sell me anything I did not need, and the crew was hard working and very wonderful.

I would highly recommend them. I am not sure how their prices compare because I did not get quotes, and I am impressed with how much roofing companies earn! But I think they did all the work they promised to do and I would definitely use them again.

I've used them 3 times over the past few years, all smaller jobs, twice to replace a portion of my roof and once for an emergecy leak during the first storm of the season.

They did quality work at a reasonable price. I would use them again.

These people gave me a wonderful experience all around, fixing bad leaks over our bedroom , and for the adjoining garage. I found them through Angie's List, where they already received many 5-star reviews.

I was particularly impressed by the following:

1. They were happy to do a repair job, even though they had orders for major roof replacement jobs. One of the roofers we contacted said they didn't do repair jobs, and the other dragged his feet in following up his proposal.
2. They were able to respond quickly, by slipping us in between storms, thereby responding to our needs and keeping their own workers busy.
3. They offered a four-year warranty; the one other roofer who gave us an incomplete bid for about the same money, specifically stated in his contract that he did not warranty the work, and claimed that this was the prevailing practice in the industry for repair jobs.
4. The four technicians who worked on our job had been with Precision Roofing for 24 years or more.
5. They gave what appeared to be an excellent price for top-rate work.

My roof had been leaking for a couple of years and it was slowly destroying the ceiling in our living room. I called Precision Roofing based on a recommendation I saw on the Berkeley Parents network website. Michael came out and was exactly on time, a rarity when having folks come to do work on the house. I found their bid competitive and they provided a warranty on the work. I'd call them again in a heartbeat for roofing issues. Wish I had called them when I did the roof itself on the cheap a few years ago.
