I can't say enough great things about Power's roof service, they are worth the wait if you need work on your tile roof. As far as any negative reviews go, if your good your going to be super busy so people you need to get in line for this company. The owner Galen came out and did an inspection for me, I had noticed water dripping inside my house, he personally removed and did a temp fix for me. How many times do you get to have the owner of the company come out and do that, never!!

Galen gave me an estimate for repairs and I got on his busy schedule, it was a two day job so they broke it up about a week apart. Galen was great about texting times of arrival and when he and his crew would show up. It was about 112 out the last day he brought in his whole crew and was cleaned up around 1;00. Great group of guys to have at your house, very nice and very respectable guys. They always said hi and were really trust worthy. It was the hottest day of the year and they were on my roof, I would have understood if they had cancelled for sure. They were here like storm troopers and never complained, what a great company!!

Top notch company and I will always recommend them! It is always great to hire a company and the owner is right up there with his boys, says a lot right there. Thanks so much Galen!

Galen is truly one of a kind! He is honest, meticulous, and caring. We just bought our first house and got some leaking in the fireplace and ceiling with the recent rains. Galen got right back to me the same day despite his busy schedule and managed to fit us in within a couple of days. He took pictures of our roof and all of the repairs and also taught my husband and I a lot of necessary things about maintaining a healthy roof. His prices were totally reasonable and again, his honesty was much appreciated. He does excellent work and is a pleasure to work with. I was astonished to read the recent less than stellar reviews for Galen. If you go to a hamburger joint looking for a steak, don't be surprised and complain when you don't get a steak! Who would assume that gutter cleaning is a roofing companies forte?? Galen fit me in his schedule late last year when I inherited a home. He was very thorough and did a great job assessing the roof issue. Because he wasn't 100% sure about the issue, he referred me to another roofing company. He doesn't have an overbearing ego or presume to know everything roofing and I appreciated his honesty. If you contact a roofing company and they aren't busy, id be questioning why that is. He is busy because he is good at what he does. Yelp is set up to review a business AFTER services have been rendered, not before. Get a life people, if you haven't had the pleasure of working with him, allow the benefit of the doubt. He is an honest hard working person and deserves some decorum of respect. I did use another roofer that HE referred me to and he was great too. Yes, the communication sucked with the other roofer but he was good and it was worth waiting until he was available to complete the job. Thank you Galen for running an honest business. Unfortunately, you can't please everyone.

Galen was very professional and honest about his work. His work ethic and customer service is amazing. I would rather wait several months until an availability came open rather going with another roofer.

I had Galen and his crew come out about a month ago. They repaired some dry rot and fixed my leaking valleys. Galen was very professional and informative. He educated me on the issues I was having and explained everything that needed to be done. The quality of the work was excellent. The roof looks great and it is a good feeling to know it was done right. Some neighbors have used other companies only to have their roof leak again. He is very busy but worth the wait.

After the initial "" fix"" was put in place, I waited 4 months for him to come out and put my rood in a place where I would never have to worry about any roof problems, again..... Again, Glad I did

Great service-- got right back to me the same day! However, to get an inspection it's 3 weeks out. To get repairs 7 months out. He must be a great contractor because he is so busy. Super bummed out that we can't use him. Honest company- will try to use him in future roofing needs.

Galen did an outstanding job with our roof maintenance and repair. In December, I noticed water coming through the sheet rock in our garage and called several roofing companies to come and take a look. All I got was voicemail saying they were swamped with work during the heavy rains and would call back when they could. That evening, I received a call from Galen saying that he was also very busy but would come by the next day to do an inspection. He came as promised. Turns out the water was due to a leaking water line, but he inspected our 12 year old flat tile roof and found several maintenance issues and a couple of places of dry rot. He sent me 50-60 pictures of the entire roof, showing the complete condition of the roof and carefully went over each issue and explained options for repair. We scheduled the repairs for his first available time slot at the end of March.
The work was completed last Friday to my complete satisfaction. The crew was efficient, considerate and explained to my satisfaction what they were doing. Galen again provided me full photographic documentation of the repairs. We also discussed steps for future maintenance to avoid problems.
I would not hesitate to recommend Powers Roofing. Note that they only work on flat tile roofs. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and will not talk you into things you don't need. I don't know that they are the cheapest, but in this case, you clearly get what you pay for.

I saw Power's working on a neighbors roof and went over to talk with them. Galen came over that afternoon for an inspection of my TILE ROOF. Since they specialize their services on Tile Roofs, I feel it's warranted to emphasize that I have a tile roof. Galen's inspection found damage that was not found by a different roof company last summer. He showed me the pictures and discussed the solutions and the estimate.

He was here yesterday from around 9am to after 5pm doing the work.
Small company. He had one worker helping him or doing the work while he took care of other business. Showed me the before/after pictures of the completed work. Even did a little touch up painting on the wood that was replaced (the old wood was rotten).

Obviously this past winter generated a lot of work for roofers.
I'm very happy to have found Galen working in my neighborhood and would strongly suggest giving him a chance to earn your business. Assuming you have a tile roof that needs maintenance or repair.
