Buyer beware I have recently had new windows installed by POWER HOME REMODELING this company is supposed to be working close with Pella and when they gave me the demonstration on these so called superior windows, for illustration purposes had a serious RED hot light behind emulating the Texas sun ""heat"", and my hands on the other side I felt no heat. My upstairs game room was hot prior, it is still hot after installation. I feel the heat. My bedroom which prior to Power Home Remodeling installing the so callled superior windows has never been hot EVER, now my bedroom is now rather warm ""HOT"" I feel the burn and my air conditioner is on 73 right now. I have no idea, what happened to the windows I ordered and should have been installied this is most definitely not what I paid for And or purchased From Power Home Remodeling. I have been grossly deceived and taken advantage of, now only speculating I do not know this to be fact. Did someone ordering these windows for my home pocket some money for themselves a quality window PRICE THEY SHOULD I PURCHASED for an economical version. A nice bonus for themselves. I do not know but when you pay the price I paid for the window illustrated and now have these like I said I have no idea if it was simple human but for the price, I am concerned. If someone is so they make these of mistakes they should be immediately fired. They are physically lovely but quality of these windows are poor, I believed Power Home Remodeling to be reputable business, I have been grossly mistaken. I will say the people that do the sales pitch that come to your house and different person who overlooks quality are engaging.personable, pleasant people. I don't know if they realize who they are working for, but I will tell you, they need to lighten up on aggressive and yes overwhelming sales pitch. Buy it now for this price on this day only. THAT PART OF SALES IS HORRIBLE AND DESPICABLE. I would've never purchased and have never said yes on any same day to any business but, am going through a private family related deep sadness. Which has bought on such despair, everyday I just walk around in a fog With a brief reprieves. It is extremely uncharacteristic of myself to say yes to such high sales pressure. normally tell these people a hard NO. SO YES, I AM VERY MUCH NOT MYSELF AND AM OUT OF SORTS. I did tell them the reason for my deep sadness so they knew about what had happened often emotional crying in front of them unable at this time in my life to hold back my crying. I am not known to be a CRYER.
Also, some of my items walked away with install crew, yes very hard workers but they have a thief among them, I could not tell you who it was a crew of 6, two women four men. working upstairs and downstairs on multiple windows. YES, I told Power Home Remodeling yes I did recently report. Yes, I did walk around but it is not as if they would done it in front of me. As I said, a fog resides throughout the day for me. Further unfortunately, I did not realize the black hand prints, fingerprints dirty hands nicked, wood inside of casing of windows even the windows themselves. I do have soap and water. They had two bathrooms with paper towels to wash and dry their hands and use the facilities of course.
I paid Power Home Remodeling day of completion and did not notice till 10 days later above listed issues, today it's only 85 degrees outside and it's warm in here, these room, I will purchase multiple thermometers.
On the day of install of my new windows the supposed superior windows, knowing what I had purchased from Power Home Remodeling . I had planned prior to buy add 4 more windows in front of house facing the street. That's all I want for symmetry. He then, began adding all the other windows to the rest of the house windows that I would replace at a later date. I kept telling repeating myselve but he kept on and on saying how I was getting a better price this time around because they were leaving out the overhead and that's the first person that came to my house and gave me the original sales pitch for the need to replace now windows. And yes, the windows replaced needed to be replaced. The young man, over seeing completed job boy oh boy kept at me. Keep in mind I did repeat myself over and over again that I only wanted to replace the four windows but before I knew it, I think you get the gist. The POWER HOME REMODELING OFF OF 7701 METROPOLIS DR. AUSTIN, TX is now attempting to pressure me into the second install, I do not even want them in my home, after recognized theft of items but the pressure well they could not help me windows already ordered and done. Nothing they could do. Keep in mind This is only 10 days after 1st Install same day new order. Now 3 weeks on. LIES! This contract is and should be null and void. These are not what I paid for, so I have lost all faith in this company, which is terrible because I like people. But regretfully a bad apple is a bad apple.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. After talking us into a new roof AND solar panels, you would think that we would be able to at least get the correct color of the roof installed. Wrong. I wanted the cool blue/black shingles and was so excited to come home after work to see the new roof. And bam....orange shingles. We spent so much on this 50 year roof.....they told me ""get used to it. You have 50 years left of it"". Incredibly horrible experience. Would never recommend to anyone ever.

Update #1 email sent this morning 25 Nov 2024. I ask that the person monitoring Yelp to please advise company leadership as necessary to help with this. I spoke with several people at Power HRG thus far and I believe more help with approvals may be needed to fix this project. I also have significant reservations about moving forward with my other project with power HRG.

Original post-At this time I cannot recommend Power Home Remodeling. I had an attic insulation install yesterday and the installers arrived after the promised arrival time and started the project at 4pm on a Saturday. I felt they were rushing the job as I went into the attic and had to tell them not to staple into the solar panel wires but they did not understand what I was saying. Also, they just threw 2 rolls of vapor barrier sheeting on the air conditioning vent tubes. I also saw them stepping directly on the ceiling drywall instead of stepping on the studs.
Now part of my solar panel array is not working. I was told by my sales rep Tommy that someone from Power HRG would be onsite but that was false. I spoke with the Operations Manager Omar about the situation but now it seems I have to make the arrangements to get my solar panels fixed myself.

I am willing to adjust this review as necessary when the issues are addressed and corrected.
Please message me and I will be happy to provide project number, etc... Hopefully you are already aware of the issues.

Great company to work with. Quality product as well as instillation which was effortless. The whole team was great.

We knew we needed a new roof. The first contact visited our home in an afternoon. He was very thorough with his explanations and measurements, walked us through everything he was saying, explained what he meant by the terms he was using and spoke highly of the company he represented (I checked the company out and everything came in as presented. I generally don't trust housiing contractors based on some experiences I've had).
There was little pressure to sign ""right now"", but we did see an advantage to going forward with Power. We accepted their best offer based on the company's reputation, a Right of Rescission, NO upfront deposits, the use of quality materials, customer praise and the fact that the roofers are employed by the company, not subcontractors.....this is important. The list of items that needed attention was long, but everything checked out with our own knowledge of what was needed. (Note: we are never afraid of exercising our Right of Rescission if something makes us uncomfortable in the days after signing. It's a legal right and it works).
Materials were delivered one day, as promised. The next day the old roof, gutters, downspouts, soffit and fascia were removed (It was a big job!), and by the end of the day we had a new roof. The workers were on time, neat in their work and, except for a lunch break, worked non-stop. They asked for nothing from me and tolerated my picture taking. The second day, all gutters, soffit and fascia were in place and looking good. The crew did not speak English, but communication was not necessary except at the end of the day when the foreman showed up. As with the previous crew, they were prompt and got the job done before they left. They did a beautiful job. Cleanup was better than acceptable.
Two minor items: (1) There were some excess (usable, not scrap) materials left behind and I am waiting for someone to come and pick them up. They're neatly packaged, but I don't want them sitting in my driveway and (2) I wish the crews were a bit more careful with my plants. The subject of landscaping was addressed in the initial contract and we were made aware that there may be some plant damage. Nothing was serious, but I have to complain about something! These two items were minor.
Would we do business with Power again? Absolutely. Everything we discussed panned out and was supported. The project was done professionally and they didn't skip town. They still talk with me when I have a question. A new roof is an expensive item and the process was better than satisfactory.

Please do not make our mistake and buy windows from this company. We paid so much to get our window replaced and the sales person straight lied to us about the warranty. The customer service agent was super unhelpful and basically said they run into that issue often.

The salesmen have zero integrity. They lied to us multiple times. And when we tried to use the warranty, their customer service is terrible.

Outstanding communication and clarity about their quality materials and how they don't cut corners from salesman to project manager to installation crew and back office and billing people. We are glad we went with Power!

The salesmen are pushy, there's no getting around that. They go door-to-door, pointing out every flaw and their solution to fix it, and they will be at your house doing this for HOURS. However, they still had a great reputation, the guy was very nice and very personable. I liked the warranty, the product, and everything I could find online told me that they were trustworthy. We decided to move forward with replacing the windows on the front of our home, and I can say that they did a great job, they were very fast, we didn't run into any issues, and we've now had our windows installed for almost 2 years and haven't had any problems.

I would call them again if I needed some more work done on the home. Just don't be afraid to say no and pick your battles. Negotiate. They're going to show you a million ""problems"" with your home, but we all don't have millions to spend. Just be ready for the bargain deal before they leave your house. ""this deal is only good for today! Once I leave the price will go up."" I hate that crap honestly. Is it a deal? Maybe. We took the bait, I can't say unfortunately.
