Beware of this company. I'm not one to do this, but I feel my situation needs to be heard out. My husband and I just bought our first home. Before purchasing the home, we paid for a full roof inspection done by Powell roofing which stated the roof was in satisfactory condition but the granules of the shingles were gone. So we decided to get the roof completely redone immediately so we wouldn't have to deal with it later down the road. We closed on our home on October 25th but gave the sellers extra days to move out. Thursday October 29th Powell roofing came out to our new home (we still hadn't received the keys yet). Later in the day, we received multiple photos from our realtor of our covered patio completely collapsed with a Powell roofing employee on top of it. Upon further inspection of the photos, I came to the realization that the workers were not wearing proper Ppe required by OSHA. Not one single safety harness in sight. All we ever heard from the company was just the photos alone, with no explanation or no plan moving forward. Our realtor called Powell roofing to speak with the owner and got no answer. The following the October 30th we finally received our keys. We walked into our new home with our 4 year old daughter and saw that they had not even cleaned up the collapsed portion of the roof making the conditions of the home very unsafe for our child and we're forced to clean up the mess they caused ourselves. Finally, 4 days later the owner responded to our realtor stating that none of this was their fault and they would not be paying to fix any of the damages that their employees caused to our home. Just a reminder, they were the company that completed a FULL roofing inspection prior to ever stepping foot on the roof to do removal and repair, so they should have been fully aware of anything that may not have been completely safe on the roof. The workers told the previous owner that they planned to reinforce the covered patio before stepping foot on it to insure its safety, but the reinforcement was never put up. After speaking with a family member who we have our homeowners insurance through as well as other roofers, we found out that roofing companies have certain insurance for these exact situations yet Powell roofing claims they should not be liable and billed us the full amount for the roof and that is all we have heard back from them since.

Powell Roofing was the only roofing company that would come out and look at my screen porch collapsed roof and they did an excellent job repairing it. And this was at a time when all contractors are extremely busy building new homes in Paradise. Four men came and even arrived early, and they not only replaced the collapsed roof, they also blew leaves off my roof and my garage roof! AND they fixed one of the screen porch doors. They were professional and very hard working.

$10,000 gets you shotty customer service, cheap materials, and no validation with any concerns. You want a roof from Powell?Expect them to without warning or scheduling rip your roof off, replace solid wood with plywood, and get a bill by Email that needs to be fixed twice. Nails, staples, and small chunks of roofing material everywhere. Invest in a magnet sweeper guys. Hopefully the customer service from Powell is not an example of things to come with this ""30 yr roof"".

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They replaced my roof without even setting up a date to do so. I literally came home from work and my roof was torn off, they ripped an antenna off my roof and threw it in our backyard. All of this without our consent. Yes, we signed an estimate at the beginning of the process but as far as instillation goes, nothing was communicated with us. When I tried to explain my concerns I was brushed off by a guy named Brian. Not even an apology. Smdh. Just go with someone else

I am putting in a solar system, but my roof was in its last few years of service. I got quotes from 4 roofers, 2 of which said they would work with my solar contractor. Then my solar contractor put me in touch with Brian at Powell Roofing. He came out within 2 days and his quote actually came before quotes from 2 other roofers that had been out a week before. His quote was the least expensive and used materials that were as good or better than the other 4 roofers. I signed the contact on Friday, and because of Powell's relationship with my solar contractor, he was out on my job by Wednesday and done by Thursday. I have a lifetime roof on my house and a 25 year roof on my flat top garage for far less money and far quicker than any of the other roofers could do. In fact, the garage roof has more than double the warranty than was offered by the other roofers. The crew was friendly, quick, efficient, and paid excellent attention to detail. And the roof looks fantastic, better than I could have imagined. Thank you Powell Roofing.

They left cigarette butts around my house, went thru my shed to find an extension cord to use to do their job, when I wasn't home. They left the gutters full of roofing materials and an empty pack of cigarettes. Destroyed 1of my gutters and Direct TV dish, it took 2 weeks to get a replacement installed for each. Dropped a bunch of roofing materials down the stove vent duct and killed the stove vent fan. Cut 6"" of the truss tails off at the eaves to repair water damage and only stapled the new piece in place, no nails just staples. A total Hack Job! Hire some grade schoolers, you'd get better quality.

We had a complicated experience with Powell Roofing which ended up being a really good one. We ordered up a unusual configuration with two inches of rigid foam below the shingles and several skylights. Powell Roofing does many roofs per year so we were in the cue for a while before they got to us. Brian honored the original bid and the job ended up taking longer than expected. Things got a little bumpy as we navigated changes and novel requests from the customer side (that's us). I was impressed with the way Brian interacted with his crew and in the end very impressed with him as a business owner and all around good human. Everyone had to stretch a little and we all ended up better for it.

I had my roof done last week, and the crew was awesome. They were very professional, and made sure to clean everything up at the end of each day. I was worried someone would leave the gate open and my dog would get out, but they were diligent to close it.

Would highly recommend. Brian replaced our roof several years ago and has stood by his work since. He was professional, friendly, fair and trustworthy. We would use his services again and would gladly recommend Powell's Roofing to family and friends.

Not one to do negative reviews but when a company tells you your roof is good to go after an ""inspection"", adding a 30' piece of drip edge and tightening screws which upon personal inspection didn't happen and then charging $900 and refusing to even come out to look at the leak occurring after their work/inspection unless they are paid a $250 fee.....
