Pombo's Contracting Services originally did a remove and replace of our entire screen enclosure around our pool about a year ago. They did a great job. Recently, we had them do a modification of the outdoor kitchen area. They changed the pet-proof screen to privacy screen, and put a large metal kick-plate behind the BBQ grill. Great work, nice result. A little bit expensive but the workmanship was excellent. Highly recommended.

Our experience with Pombos started off very hopeful as our neighbor used them two years back with a different salesperson: From the first conversation with Josh Castillo, we informed him we wanted something very similar to their house. I gave him the exact address, description, and dimensions yet each time he sent us a quote it was incorrect. We specifically said 'no flat roof' since the beginning , he quoted us for a flat roof. We particularly measured ourselves a distance of 28 screen enclosure, he quoted for just the existing lanai at 12 feet. And each time he had to make changes, he made it sound like it was our fault that he cannot get the design right . we asked him on three separate occasions why he is not coming out to measure? He said he can pull up all the information online. We are in construction no matter how small or large the job is. Tile work , kitchen , roof etc all needs in person attention to ensure the job is done efficiently and correctly. We would never and the client to send photos or take measurements for a quote , that is part of getting the job. A Large project of footers, pavers, and a screen enclosure should require the same approach in my opinion. We always meet with the customer. To get a better idea of what the job entails, and to completely understand their vision.

Josh refused to do calls for the most part, telling me I had to email him . Looking back at my emails and providing screenshots. I have contacted him back in 2021 when my neighbor had their patio done and he gave me the same lazy approach to Sales - refusing to call us back or come out for measurements . His conversations were short and brief, he may be the son of the owner or a relative. I really don't know nor care. But for the owner reading this review - the entitlement status in this company is what is hurting your business. after the 3rd or so estimate (still was NOT getting our design correct also with a 400% price increase of the exact design our neighbor has) we called the office to request a different sales person ...wanting to give this company the benefit of the doubt. An equally young and arrogant sales manager called and within the first two sentences of me speaking. He interrupted me three times almost wanting to argue. My husband jumped on the phone and said we will take our business elsewhere. Some may have had good experiences with Josh, but from our experience in the construction field he is taking an inactive, sluggish, and HANDS OFF role in sales. And mind you, this is a 5 figure job we are paying for. so we will happily take our business elsewhere, even if we have to pay more for less stress .

Pombos offers the best screen available on the market. If you need a screen to prevent bugs and is durable for pets, this is the company to go with. It is a small business that handcrafts all the frame materials. They are also very respectful during the entire course of the project. We installed a screen with them two years ago and had to ask for some fixes due to difficult HOA, and they were always very professional in helping us with the requests.

Overall, they have high-quality screens, professional and respectful installers, and responsive services and always a pleasant experience working with them.

They are also pretty popular in the area. Sometimes they may not be as responsive to new customers due to the influx of migrants from all over the country. However, if you are patient enough to get their service, your screen will be the most lasting with reasonable price in the neighbourhood.

We had these guys do the pool screening. It took 3 months after they said they would start the screening to get started. THE SCREENING was finally done after several times of having them come back and finish. They were very messy with everything. Leaving their tools in the rain, their lunch trash all over the place. When putting in the concrete before the screening started, they got concrete on the white vinyl fence, the windows,the new air conditioner, and killed most of the plants around the pool.
I wasn't going to give them a review, but I had to spend hundreds of dollars to clean out the pool navigation line that goes from the pool to the pump. One of the guys stuck a big roll of spline in the hole in the pool where the pump was that made the navigator not work. I thought it was the navigator not working, so I spent 250 dollars on fixing the navigator. That's when I found the spline stuck in the hole in the pool. NOT COOL.
I WILL NOT HAVE THES GUYS TO ANYTHING AROUND THE HOUSE AGAIN.
I hope this helps someone who is screening the pool.
PICK SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT, AND GOOD LUCK.

Pombo's gave me a professional quote with a good price, and everything explained in detail, in writing, including various choices. My porch was done soon after, and completed in one day. There was an issue next to a neighbor's porch, so they explained it, and told me what they could do to resolve it. It came out perfect! My porch is so beautiful now!! And this small project was completed with the same care and professionalism that a large job would receive. Juan was excellent and it was a real pleasure working with Pombo's. I would highly recommend them!!

Will never attempt to use them again. Signed a contract, left deposit, did prework required before the job was to begin....then get a call saying that none of his crews WANT TO DO THE JOB. Very dissappointing...

Excellent job! I got a call back right away. Sent pics and specs of the patio I wanted screened over email and got a quote right away. I didn't even have to take off work to meet them which is a HUGE deal for me. They installed the patio screen while I was at work, I checked it out when I got home, and I will send them a check today. They did such a good job, my dog has already run into the lower part of the screen 3 times but he bounced right off. No rips, nothing. I had to put things in front of it so he doesn't headbutt it anymore. Highly recommend!
