As far as the roof goes, they did a fine job. However, there was an issue regarding our chimney and the roof damage in that area, which our insurance co. threatened to cancel our policy over, if it wasn't repaired in a certain amount of time.

The rep from Poe that handled our case kept saying that he was trying to get the insurance co. to cover the chimney work also. I told him that, in order to not get our policy cancelled, we were perfectly willing to pay them to just go ahead and fix it.

At that same time, I also asked him to give me an estimate for replacing the siding on our house too...so they could have made a LOT more money from us if he had just ACTED on what I was requesting.

But he just kept saying the same thing every time I called, and eventually he stopped returning my calls and texts, and I haven't heard from him since.

I ended up having to hire another company to take care of the repair, in order to not have our insurance policy cancelled, and they also got the job of replacing the siding, and painting the whole house. And I STILL have not heard a word from Poe, or received the estimate I requested.

Bottom line: They can do a good roof job, but once they have their money, they don't have the time of day for you. So if you decide to go with Poe construction, 'Good luck'.

Well it started with a few companies coming to my door and promising me everything they could. I was denied by my insurance 3 times before Poe Roofing came by. The guy was great and made me feel so comfortable. I was very reluctant and decided to give it one more chance. These guys are awsome and am so pleased with the way my roof looks AWSOME!!! Thank you so much Poe Roofing for a outstanding job, and for being such a helpful group

I'm surprised by Marcus's review. I went with Poe after talking to several other roofing contractors. What swayed me in the end was the fact that 4-5 neighbors up the street had all used them and couldn't say enough good things about how happy they were and how well the projects went.

It took a little longer than expected to get our roof but it was due to weather delays. Once they got started it took two full days (no working on Sunday). They actually finished as it was starting to rain again.

The roof looks great. In fact my immediate neighbor just used them and are just as pleased. In fact they did the roof and painted the house as well.

These guys suck really bad. They were hired to do a small job and took all the money without doing any work. Our ""project manager was dishonest among other things. They never completed the work and they never returned any of the money. I could post way more but check the BBB on these guys and find a reputable company. They are horrible people that will not show up as promised and take 9 months to complete a job that should only take 1 month. The owner shows up admits they do bad work and submits bills for work they have no intention of doing ever. Bad people, bad business, bad practices, etc. I would not hire them to repair the roof on a dog house. These guys ruined my life.
