PLEDGE General Contractors was founded during the festive season of 2015.
On December 26, a tornado devastated our hometown of Rowlett.
As an experienced contractor, I rushed to aid my community in boarding up and tarping their destroyed homes.
Experiencing the aftermath and the sorrow of families who lost everything made it clear to me that helping people should come before profits.
My employer at the time disagreed, as my volunteer work wasn’t generating profit for him.
That moment made me understand I had to forge my own way, resulting in the birth of Pledge GC from the wreckage.
I am a devoted Christian, husband, father of three, and a former Naval Officer.
Helping others has always been my passion, and I tend to be generous, sometimes excessively so.
My desire to help others places me in a servant role, and my morals push me to lead by example.
My devotion to God and my family drives me to put forth my best effort each day.
It also helps to have a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
I approach my work with diligence, pursue my goals with determination, and constantly seek ways to improve.
These traits make me valuable to others, I suppose.
Knowing a lot about various topics enhances my ability to support others.
