PLEDGE General Contractors was founded during the festive season of 2015.
The day after Christmas, a tornado struck our hometown of Rowlett.
As a seasoned contractor, I quickly went to help my friends and neighbors secure their damaged homes.
Witnessing the destruction firsthand and feeling the pain of families losing everything made me realize that prioritizing people over profit was essential.
My employer at the time disagreed, as my volunteer work wasn’t generating profit for him.
That moment made me understand I had to forge my own way, resulting in the birth of Pledge GC from the wreckage.
As a proud Christian, husband, father of three, and ex-Navy officer, I hold my values close.
Helping others has always been my passion, and I tend to be generous, sometimes excessively so.
My empathy drives me to serve, while my principles guide me to lead by example.
My dedication to my faith and family inspires me to strive for excellence daily.
It also helps to have a lot of energy and enthusiasm.
I approach my work with diligence, pursue my goals with determination, and constantly seek ways to improve.
I guess these qualities make me helpful to those around me.
