Worked with Devon from Platinum on a bathroom remodel (new bathtub, tile around bathtub, fixing floor tile, paint). I had a leak around my bathtub, and he quickly could point out the root cause was the previous owner installed the bathtub wrong and hadn't done correct waterproofing.

The whole process was very easy. Once all the materials were ready, it only took about 2 weeks. Devon was able to get permit inspections set up quickly, so there were no delays on that end.

The team did a great job protecting the parts of the bathroom not being remodeled. I appreciated that Platinum also sent a quality manager to check on the progress. So far, I'm very happy with how the bathroom turned out.

I recently hired Gil at Platinum Home Builders and Design to do retrofitting, stucco, painting and demolition work on my property. From the beginning Gil was very professional to work. I am not someone who knows a whole lot about constructions, getting permits and dealing with the city of Los Angeles. He handle getting the permit and getting inspection done. He explained everything thoroughly and in simple terms so that I can understand and he made everything so simple. When I had questions he answered them in timely fashion. He estimated that it was going to take 2 weeks to finish and he finished the work in about a week. His crew came to work everyday and were not loud and did a good job of cleaning up everything and putting things back the way they were. I highly recommend Gil at Platinum Home Builders and Design for his professionalism, his attentiveness, and making me feel comfortable with the whole construction process.

Our Project Manager is Devon. From the minute he pulled up in his Tesla and flew his drone to check out our 3rd story and our roof, we felt like, ""This is Next Level Impressive. We're in the right place."" Devon has the class and style that goes with remodeling your dream home. Extremely hard worker, I found Devon to be always accessible 24/7. You tell him things that are important to you, and he hears it, and problem solves to make it happen. Creating your dream home starts with having the right Project Manager. You need the right Project Manager to execute the direction appropriately. My Project Manager won my trust and loyalty on the first day construction started. We own a 3 story, and we had a hard job on the 3rd floor. And I know Devon could be working on a $300,000 remodel in Los Angeles, but instead he stuck with me, and spent most of the day reading the scissor lift manual until he was a real pro. We needed a scissors lift to do construction on the 3rd floor. That to me said a lot about Platinum and Devon. Whether your project is big or small, Devon took such an interest, and put so much time and attention. Devon cares about the Little Guy. Devon is a true industry leader. Exceeded my expectations. One of the things I noticed on the first day about Devon is he is a model of efficiency and works around the clock 24/7. Professional, excellent communication throughout, goes above and beyond every single day.

Devon flew his drone over our roof. He has an expert eye, and immediately saw that we had some loose tiles, and prevented another leak.

When you work with the best, it takes away the worry, and gives you that peace of mind. That everything in your construction project will be taken care of.

I love Julio and Fabio, our window installers! The Best! True Masters of their craft! Julio manipulated the parts of a window like a rubik's cube. Julio and Fabio are true industry leaders. They installed our windows on the 3rd floor with such coordination, organization, and precision, it was incredible to watch. Absolute perfection! To my absolute delight! I have full confidence in Julio and Fabio. Incredibly, there was no damage to the interior because of their high level/superior skill, experience and expertise, the job was extremely neat and tidy. I thought to myself, ""I have met The God of Windows."" And his assistant Fabio has such a young, bright spirit. Extremely hard working, industrious, diligent, smart, and a true delight!

Our painter Armando did the 4 layers of waterproofing, stucco, and painting. We were going on vacation, and Armando came on a Saturday to make sure we could finish the project on time. Diligent, hard working, extremely knowledgeable, best at his craft, a true industry leader, beautiful work, a true artist. Every job done with artistry, perfection, a real pro at his craft. His work is super clean, neat and tidy, super organized. Because of his expertise and years of experience, and professionalism, he made a lot of great recommendations and had a lot of great ideas about our kitchen. I was so impressed how intently he listened and took the time to understand what I had in mind for our kitchen. He was able to give me an idea what swatches would be a good match for our kitchen. I found his expertise and recommendations exceptional and truly helpful. Armando is very professional.

Gil came right out for the quote and had a lot of great ideas for our project. He was able to find a way to use our existing layout to get the project figured out so we wouldn't have to start from scratch again.

I know the reason you are looking at this comment because you want to do your due diligence before hiring a contractor. This is an industry with a ""gray"" reputation and that was exactly what we felt, until we met the owner Gil. First of all, he is extremely responsive and shows a lot of care and passion first time he walked into our home. We need a 3 bathroom remodel and he walks us through the entire process and provided a crystal clear proposal. My wife was so intimidated by the process at the onset but Gil was able to resolve all her doubt. The communication throughout the entire process is impeccable. I can't be more assured Platinum is right firm to go with (especially after our first nightmare with another firms). Literally not a single thing I want to change with the process. Next up kitchen and patio (once we save up a bit more of course). Thanks Gil.

When I called Platinum home builders, they offered us a free estimate, and after price matching with other contractors we felt like they were the most impressive both by their credentials, approach and price. We could not have been more right. Their level of professionalism and care to our home was amazing.
