We've had Planchon Roofing work on our house twice now, and each time they were just great.

Episode one involved a home we were purchasing, but needed roofing work BEFORE it could be sold to us. The previous owner was required to fix the substructure but not re-roof, and the rains were approaching. Doug came to our rescue before it was even our house, by checking in on the work being done, then covering the open roof with a tarp to protect it from the weather. In the few days it took to complete the sale, he made sure things would end up well for us, then did the re-roof quickly. FANTASTIC.

Episode two involved new shingles and at first, Doug came by just a couple of days after our initial call, checked out the roof, and said there was no need, there might be another year left in the ones we had. Very nice to NOT push for unnecessary work, but we decided to go ahead with it. When we asked if it could be done quickly, Damon entered the picture and said ""How 'bout Monday?"". Again, FANTASTIC. They completed the majority of the work in one day (including LOTS of unexpected roof repair), and when we became angry about a major problem we thought had happened (it hadn't), Damon remained calm, talked it out for us, and was REALLY understanding. He took some phone calls he didn't deserve, and handled them as well as anyone could. Sorry Damon!

The employees were friendly and worked very hard, everyone did great work, the roof looks great at a great price, even the post-work cleanup was flawless. And - though I'm sure they can't always do it - they were so speedy it was, well, FANTASTIC. Thanks again Planchon!

Had our roof repaired. Estimate was on time and the guys we met with very nice and provided us with thorough explanations and information. Work completed within 2 weeks. Very happy with them. Will use again.

I would never recommend planchon. As a home owner with little to no roofing skills, I trusted planchon to replace the old gutters on my home; I should have saved my money and left the old ones up. Each time it rains, the gutter nearest my room pours water into the window thanks to the genius who set the slope on said gutter. The corner near the the front of the house pours water onto the walk way. Why? As far as I can tell it must have been the same planchon specialist who set the slope as the back of the house. What a total failure of a job. Do your self a favor, find any other roofer. These guys are hacks!!

Planchon barely gets one star. I have been trying to get these guys in for roof repair for 5 weeks now, and they are unresponsive and disorganized. The two times I've actually spoken to the scheduler, he has promised me that I would get on their schedule, and then they flake. Even if they made it to my house, I wouldn't trust their work given how loosey-goosey they seem. they do not have their act together. Would NOT recommend.

We just had our roof replaced by Planchon.
They did an awesome job from the time I called to get an estimate to the end of the project.
All the workers and the owner were pleasant, easy to work with, they know what they're doing.
I'd use then again.

We had our roof replaced by Planchon in 2010. The estimator was pleasant, and their price couldn't be beat. Their crew was competent, fast and easy to work with. It's been 5 years now, and we've had no problems with leaks or anything else. I'd use them again.

Roof leaked after one year. They came by to fix it and then we never heard from them again concerning the internal damage to our home. They even refused a certified letter in the mail about the damage. Stay classy guys.

My roof leaked two years after they put it on. Exactly where I was concerned (which Doug dismissed as naivety) it would leak. It leaked slowly over a winter and molded the interior of a wall - resulting in significant cost and time to replace/repair. I contemplated filing a grievance but just didn't want to deal with Planchon . I fixed it all and moved on. I recommend them less now than my first review.
