During the past few years I've had the pleasure of working with Piscatelli Roofing and am extremely happy with the results. My experience with this company is nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. What initially drew me to them was the fact I met the owner, Ari, at a cafe and he was genuinely interested in my upcoming roofing project (especially with what I believed would be a challenging project). I was experiencing problems finding (and feeling confident with) a roofer who could handle the installation of a specific synthetic roofing material I wanted to use. It looks like slate but performs much better than slate and is made by Brava. Few other roofers even wanted to speak with me about it because it was out of their (common asphalt shingle) wheelhouse. After speaking with Ari and learning about his (and his family's) expertise in the roofing industry, I knew I had found the right person for the job. From the very beginning, Ari was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He took the time to discuss the installation, material and timing with me, and he (and the Brava representatives) answered all of my questions thoroughly. What began as one roofing job, eventually turned into numerous jobs. Now that several different types of roofing jobs (from sloped to flat, from composite slate to synthetic coating, from galvanized to copper flashing) have been completed for me by Piscatelli Roofing, I can confidently say they do extremely good work that they can confidently stand behind. And (as a side comment) the advanced synthetic roofing material by Brava looks just like slate, but is much better. I am so pleased with the overall results, I would highly recommend Piscatelli to anyone who is in need of any roofing services whatsoever. I am grateful that I met Ari (and his family). His expertise, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly unparalleled.

I am writing this review in April 2022, less than one year after the job was completed in May 2021. The job was to apply a silicone coating system to my main roof and garage roof. However, due to negligence of the crew, both my roof drain and garage drain systems are clogged because the crew flushed debris (sand and gravel) down the drain systems when they were cleaning the roofs instead of carrying away the debris. The drains are not intended to offload large amounts of debris and that's why the drain cover exists to keep extreme debris from entering the system. The crew removed the drain cover on purpose when they were cleaning the roofs and forced an unusual amount of debris through the drainage systems. Because of the clogged drain, a pool of water of 6 inches in depth has collected on my roof around the drain. This has also spurred algae growth in the flooded area. There is also a soft spot and an air bubble under the silicone coating which indicates failure in the coating system--a complete failure of the job the product intended to prevent. Beware of this company, Piscatelli!!! They cause more damage to your property and has shirked responsibility when concerns are raised. They contract out the work to 3rd party crews so the quality is unreliable and there was no onsite supervision from the company while the work was done. I am very disappointed with Piscatelli and am writing to the California Contractor State License Board to have their license revoked.

Back in November during that heavy storm I had rain pouring in front of my fireplace.
The owner's father came over and quoted me $2,600 to fix the leak. I really liked the man and his helper, but after patching up parts of my roof
twice it didn't stop the rain from coming in. His only solution was to get a new roof. He blamed the problem on my roof and skylight.

Long story short, I found another roofer who figured the problem wasn't the roof but the chimney. It was fixed in no time.

When it comes to fixing leaks I wouldn't hire Piscatelli.

I highly recommend Piscatelli Roofing. They (Ari) were helpful in selecting the roofing materials, coordinated their work with our solar panel installer, completed their work on schedule and cleaned up afterwards. I'm writing this several months after the install because I waited to see if there were any issues after a heavy rain and happy to report there have been no problems.

PISCATELLI Roofing was referred to us by a close friend who had known Ari Piscatelli for years. We live in Terra Linda and needed a new roof within the next year. We are in a mid-Century Modern Alliance home with a flat foam roof. We were hoping to buy some time by doing repairs to get us through one more rainy season. Ari came over to give us some advice and estimates. He gave us a great alternative to add a membrane over our existing foam roof our instead of replacing the current roof. This solved our problem for much less money, with no interruption to our daily routines. Now we have the equivalent of a new roof, with a great warranty...and we just had our first big storm and really felt protected.

Ari and his team were easy to work with, stayed on schedule, kept things neat and clean...and kept the impact on our property to a minimum. Ari, Gabe and the gentleman who did the wood repair were all easy to work with and very professional. I would recommend PISCATELLI Roofing to my friends and neighbors without hesitation. Great people to work with!
