My new home inspection flagged some leaks in my main roof and lack of roof drain on my utility roof. Pioneer provided a very reasonable quote. (I had it quoted through 3 different roofers.) Their office and scheduling was very reliable. The roofers themselves were very professional, showed up on the day they were scheduled, and kept me updated.

I can't truly speak to the quality of the work as I'm not a roofer but what I've seen has been neat and tidy.

Roof Repair: We researched roof contractors and explored our neighborhood site. We found several who had decent reviews, including Pioneer Roofing. Alana and Spencer are a brother/sister team, and between the two of them, they made sure they got me a reasonable quote in a timely manner. Once I chose them, they quickly set up a day and time to get the work done. The crews showed up on time and finished my roof before the recent 08/2023 rains hit. My new roof is complete. After a major leak in my roof and water damage inside, Spencer came out to seal up some questionable areas of my roof. My roof had a few years left but I ultimately decided to just get a new roof as water damage inside is expensive! I had several companies come out to quote, however Pioneer Roofing was the most reasonable and timely. My house feels warmer and I now don't have to worry about any water leaks for 25+ years!

I know how hard it is to get the roof repaired, without actually seeing or knowing what is going on up there?
After getting a number of roofing companies give us bids/estimates to repair roof damage that has caused water stained ceiling and leaks. It was overwhelming trying to decide which roofing company to go with? Some companies recommendations were to get the entire roof replaced, which is costly. Others said, re-roofing, which also cost a lot, plus having to remove existing solar panels as well. Even the ones that suggested to do patch work gave us high bids, that made us want to pay the extra cost to replace the entire roof.

Pioneer roofing company was different, the owner, Spencer, is a professional and honest person. There was no salesperson tactics to pressure us into a new roof, or the high cost to repair the existing roof.
Spencer made the entire process so easy. He gave us explanations of what caused the water stains and leaks, and options of how to fix them with reasonable prices.
Without any hesitation, I would highly recommend Pioneer Roofing Company to anyone looking to get roof repairs.

I can tell you how much we love our new roof. After getting 8 quotes. I'll tell you why I went with Pioneer Roofing.
#1. He was on time.
2. He was respectful, in the time of Covid he didn't require that all ""decision makers"" be available for a SALES pitch. There were companies that wouldn't just give me a quote without my spouse. One company was so intrusive that they pulled title to see who was on the title of my property. Another one came over while I was at work to try and talk to my wife after I told them I would talk it over with her.
3. Spencer is not the average roofer. He spent the time to go over material options and addressed why I wanted a new roof. Yes even addressing a need and option of getting insulation when I didn't get half the knowledge from other roofers.
Let me tell you how through they are: I have solar, he stated that he will work with the solar company to make sure they put the right mounts on our roof and came out before the solar company took down our panels and YES he came out after to make sure they installed the panels back on so that it would not damage our new roof or adversely affect the roof. I spoke with the solar people about Pioneer and they gave much praise to Spencer's knowledge roofing and solar installation. I had to use our solar installers so to not void the panels warranty.
For the value and quality of work, hands down, Pioneer Roofing was everything and more than I could have asked for.
They didn't push financing on us.
Overall, I will say that I can't paise them enough. Thank you for the wonderful new roof. Thanks for being patient with me and all my questions, I know I wasn't the easiest to work for but I do my research because it's my family's home and we love it.
For the record, my AC doesn't kick on as much. The temperature is VERY steady, our solar output has sent way more power back to the grid and hasn't had a day where I was pulling more electricity than generating. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm looking forward to Winter because in SD it gets freezing at night, I don't worry that this year and many years to come, we will be very comfortable.
