Pin Roofing did an outstanding job replacing the roof on my house. They were very professional and made sure to clean up everyday before leaving. Pin roofing was able to answer all my questions before and during installation in detail. They have competative prices and also offer a great labor warranty. Pin Roofing has been operating in Downey for many years and is highly recommended by many residents which is why I decided to do buisness with them also. Pin Roofing is a wonderful company to work with. If I could give a 10 I would. Richard (Mr. Pin) gave us an estimate for a new roof on our house, patio, detached den and garage. We were told that we may have to wait a couple months do to the job due to others on there waiting list. We agreed,to the wait and boy are we so happy of the wait. Our job was a complete tear down. Richard's crew was so professional in every way. His crew were so polite and always cleaned up before leaving in the day. We could set our clocks as they came for almost a week at 7:00 am sharp. Maria in the office was a wonderful contact and followed through on anything needed. This is a family owned company that you can trust. You will be very pleased with there workmanship and all other aspects.

I was referred to Pin Roofing by three people on Postively Downey. I called him Wed. 1/2/2019 to see when he could come out for a quote. He inspected my roof later that day. Told me the cost to repair leaks in three areas of my house and 2 on my garage. He said because of expected rain that weekend he and his crew would the work Friday,1/4/2019. They did the work early Friday. Richard suggested I wait until Monday to pay him to see if there was a leak after the rain. I was impressed with his integrity and have now have a leak free roof.

This is in response to the post of 4-11 by 'Xavier'. I'm the neighbor who was supposed to have work done. 'Xavier's' post is a bit misleading. ""I asked not to move the trash bins......"" - there was no 'asking', there was only screaming; ""the driver became argumentative..."" - the driver stayed in the truck until 'Xavier' told him if he had something to say to get out of the truck and say it; ""my other neighbors were there and witnessed the actions..."" - the neighbor witnesses are 'Xavier's' sister and adult nephew. When I drove up it was already out of control and was getting worse when the worker got out of the truck. When I asked the worker to pull into the driveway, he drove off - and I don't blame him.
Now, that being said, I also understand the other negative posts by 'Andy O.' and 'S.G.' It took several weeks and phone calls to get Mr. Semones (the owner of Pin Roofing) to come out, give me a price and a date for the work to be done. He said Fri. 4-7. No one showed up and when I finally heard from him he said someone called in sick and that ""if it doesn't rain the next day (Sat.)"" they would get the work done then. Well, it didn't rain; they didn't show up; and I never got a phone call. When we tracked him down on Monday he said they would be there on Tuesday......well, that became the day of the 'infamous trash bin incident'. In talking with Mr. Semones at that time, he said he wanted to talk with his crew about what happened and would call me in a couple of days. That was 9 days ago and I still haven't heard from him.
Although I can't speak of/review the quality of work, I can tell you they did come highly recommended. Personally though, I would not have called Pin Roofing if I had known Mr. Semones was lacking in reliability and common courtesy. Sorry, but I place a lot of importance on treating customers with respect and courtesy.
