Galvin and his crew fixed a slow leak and reset loose tiles for our steep concrete slab roof. His quote was fair, and arrived for the estimate and the repair promptly. He quickly diagnosed the issue and confirmed the source of the leak after taking out the tiles.

I had a slow leak around a skylight and called two companies for quotes. The first was very expensive for repair, gutter cleaning, and maintenance. I knew I didn't need all that because I had a leak repaired and gutters cleaned a few years before and there was no mention of any other needed repairs or maintenance.

I then called Phillips and what a difference. Gavin came out on time for a quote and it was substantially lower than the other company. As expected, he said most of the other repairs weren't needed, He included the gutters and didn't see the need for a lot of maintenance. Since he was already working in the neighborhood he was able to come back later and complete the repairs. This was great since a storm was expected the next day. The storm showed up on time and no leaks or any other problems.

I would definitely recommend this company for honest, dependable work at a very competitive price. Gavin has over 35 years experience.

I will give a negative star if it exists. This guy Gavin is rude and is not at all fair and he is almost in the cheating category. I have asked him for a very small work (slight leak at the edge of the roof). not a major one. He repaired it and in the process created more leaks in new areas in my roof. I called him right away and he came and simply told me that the leak was already there. He right there lied to my face! There was no leak before, other wise I would have asked him to fix it as part of my initial work order.
He told me there is no warranty in spite of me calling him right away and he refused to fix and asked me more money and also told me that there is no guarantee that he will fix my roof even if I paid additional money.

People - Be careful with this company and Gavin. Ask for a detailed quote and insist on the following.
- Ask for Warranty. many companies give 3 months to 1 year and even more.
- Put a clause in the quote that any further damage or leaks caused by him should fixed free of cost.

There are fantastic roof repair companies in the Tri valley area who gives warranty for their work.

Gavin was a huge help. We noticed some water stains on our ceiling in an area that we had previous roof repair (by another contractor). Gavin came by a few days after we initially contacted him, showed up on time, and checked out inside and outside within 15 minutes. He showed us pictures of what the roof looked like and gave us various hypotheses. He then suggested a DIY remedy and to call him back if it didn't work. He showed he was super knowledgeable and interested in helping us get the most efficient solution.

We had a raccoon damage our roof. The mother displaced several tiles, tore a big hole in the plywood, and set up home with her little ones in the space below it. It took a while to get them evicted (that's another story...). But, once we got them out, I contacted several roofers, and most said that they don't handle that repair work. We had two roofers come out, and Phillips was significantly cheaper. Gavin and his team did a great job. Highly recommend them.

He arrived on time, and he was friendly and efficient. I will for sure call him anytime I need a roofer, and I highly recommend him.

I called at about 6 something at night after noticing a leak during one of the random rain storms that just came through and he texted me back a few hours later and came by the next day to look at the leak, which was not at all what I was expecting! He was so quick in his response time. And then after the rains had passed, he came back, fixed the roof speedily and it did not cost much. Then it rained a few days after that and no problems! Definitely keeping his number for the future!

Gavin and his crew did an excellent and professional repair of our home in Pleasanton. They arrived on time, cleaned up as they worked and completed the job within a few hours. Repair was not a big job but his quote was very fair and better than 2 other quotes we received. Would highly recommend.
