I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to do so about Permanent Roof West due to their exceptional customer orientation and communications. Compared to the plethora of service organizations I've dealt with over the years, Permanent Roof ranks in the top 5 % of companies, for me, who are surely focused on their customer's needs and concerns. Even if they can't address issues immediately, just getting back to me and letting me know the status helps tremendously. Charly, Tiffany, and Gaby all worked together to make me feel comforted that they would help me with a leak in our roof. Charly came out, assessed the situation, and then returned during a very busy time to repair it. He then communicated back to me after he completed the work! I highly recommend Permanent Roof to anyone who wants superb service and quality work!

Scott committed to give me a proposal on replacing my roof. He said it would take 3 weeks because of the end of year holidays. I said okay and put my project on hold and didn't solicit other bids anticipating his. Three weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I reached out to him to find out what was going on. Through his administrative assistant he now says he is too busy. Didn't he know this 3 weeks ago? Or anytime after. I give this company zero for customer service.

Scott and the entire team were great! They're very busy so there was a bit of a wait to schedule the work. But they kept in touch and let me know what was going on. The actual work was well done and the entire crew was terrific, taking care to protect our home and property. I recommend them highly!

I saw a number of broken tiles on my angled roof, and Scott came to inspect. His office called in advance to let me know he would be on-time. We went up on the roof, and he assured me that no repairs would be necessary. I've really got respect for an honest and honorable tradesman.

We LOVE this company. These guys are total pros who know how to install a roof you can have confidence in. Permanent Roof replaced our entire roof, they were on time, professional, clean and friendly. We selected a light grey roof and the first week we noticed a dramatic reduction in our A/C bill. This is not some fly-by-night company who will be gone in 6 months, PW has been around for decades, their standard of work is impressive and the owner is a good guy who will stand by his work.

So this process started months ago. I wanted them to come out and look at my roof. I wanted to know what condition my roof was in and did the roof need any maintenance work?
The lady on the phone tells me it will be a few weeks before they can come out. Great, not a problem. I thought to myself if they are that busy, they might be pretty good. I will wait. Weeks turn into a month and so I call to follow up. What a concept? Following up isn't much to ask for is it? Anyways, now the lady on the phone tells me that possibly someone will be out this week or next. Fine, not in a hurry clearly with all the nice weather we have been having.
This morning I received an email saying we are too busy to deal with your roof and here is a list of companies that may be able to help you. Nice.
Here you go Permanent Roof. Glad to not make you wait for this lovely review. I thought people should know your customer service is terrible.

I just had an exceptional experience with Permanent Roof and want to share it with the community. Although the company is currently booked months in advance, (because of El Nino concerns) the owner came by my house to check about a possible leak in my roof. He advised me against doing unnecessary work at this time. His knowledge, and even more so, his integrity, saved me potentially thousands of dollars.
