Lance replaced my roof. It leaked repeatedly. After 2 years, I had to replace with a new roof with another company. No refund or credits from Lance. I went to the city to see if he pulled a work permit. Turns out he never had any inspections of the roof through the replacement process and he never finalized the work permit.

Several people in my neighborhood raved about how good they were. I called and left two messages two days apart. Still have not heard back from them. I hate leaving negative reviews but there is no excuse. I understand it may be a busy season but three days is more than enough time to return a call. So much for excellent customer service.

Had Penney Roofing install a new roof on my home and garage in 2010.. it has been leaking ever since. Lance does not answer your calls once he has your money. About two years ago, I tricked Lance by calling him with a fake name and different phone number. I left a voicemail and he returned the call immediately! Wow, he thought he had a new victim! He made several promises to come and look at the roof. Finally he came out and looked at the roof and claimed there was nothing wrong with it but sent a guy out to tar a few spots just to pacify me. It continued to leak. Since that encounter Lance has ignored all of my phone calls and voicemails. I had to hire someone else to make repairs on my ""new""roof. Seems the entire front of the roof between the flat part and the pitched part is missing flashings and rain is freely running in. I'm taking pictures to prove my claim. The ceiling and wall in my breakfast nook have to be repaired. Taking pictures of that too. Documenting everything. Don't use this company. Remember, you get what you pay for. He offers a low price and provides shoddy work. The stress is not worth it and he needs to have his license revoked. I don't know who the other folks are who gave him those rave reviews but I know first hand that THE ONES WHO DIDN'T ARE TELLING THE TRUTH!! I'm contacting the state licensing board for advise. I don't know how this man sleeps at night. Use this company at your own risk. You have been warned!

Great company. Lance is wonderful to work with and prompt in responding and handling issues. Great prices and great service. Haven't had a leak or issue since our new roof. I would highly recommend and you can't beat their prices.

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I hope I can stop others from making the mistake of hiring Penny Roofing.

ZERO stars - Beware! - They do not stand by their work and their work is shoddy.

I hired Penny Roofing to replace our roof three years ago. In September (2015) we had a thunderstorm that dropped good amount of rain. Our roof was leaking. I left many messages with Penny Roofing and then finally I spoke to Lance the owner. He blatantly lied to me and continued to lie to me on several follow up calls with promises to come by.
I ended up hiring someone else to repair the roof.

They came to my house for a estimate very professional and friendly the price they gave me was not bad I love how the man told me to look around and see if I can find a better deal.There was no rush for me to sign anything

This is my first ever yelp review and I wanted the Yelp world to know that Penny Roofing goes above and beyond! I urgently needed a new roof and Penny Roofing delivered! They were outstanding and Lance was the most genuine person and he was so easy to deal with. I feel he actually went above and beyond for my family. If you need a roof I highly recommend Penny Roofing.

I have used Penny Roofing over the past 8 years on 3 occasions on 3 different properties and have always been satisfied that's why I always went back to this company. Lance always came on time for the estimate and gave me the estimate within a few days of the initial visit. His prices were always lower than other companies I called. His workers were polite and professional. His crew chief Jose was very attentive to details and answered all my concerns politely and even did something extra that I asked for without a charge. Their workmanship was excellent and I have never had a problem with any of the roofs. Of course, I never called them in a panic in rainy season like a lot of other people do who wait until their roof is leaking on their heads. They have been in business for a long time and know what they are doing. I know they will even take credit cards. Yes, I would use them again and in fact am calling them now for a bid on another house. If you want the best price-I recommend you call them when it's not raining!

Hired Penny Roofing Company on 9/25/2007 to install new roofing on flat part of property. The work was completed on 10/25/2007. During the rainy period on or about 2/8/2014, water began leaking through the roof into the bedroom closet. The leak was inspected and water was observed leaking through the roof into the closet damaging the ceiling and the wall. The cause of the same was defective material and or workmanship. Penny Roofing Company was contacted to repair the leak per their contract agreement. On 2/18/2004, we heard from Penny Roofing and the representative was very helpful, polite and concerned. We are scheduled to have the roof leak repaired. As of 3/3/2014 we have not heard from Penny Roofing. Penny Roofing has not honored its word.
