I paid $1000 dollars up front to apply for solar panel installation. I never got contacted by the company that they have gone bankrupt. I just found out on my own. I tried calling their office, but their phones are now inoperable.

Ran away with my deposit. I spent a few months trying to contact them and then realized I got scammed. They would have known they were closing down but still tricked me into signing the contract and paying a deposite. And then they started sending me followup money request: they were hoping I pay all the cost upfront despite never responded to my calls in 6 months. What a joke.
Now I feel lucky it's just the small initial deposit that I lost. If they ended up actually installing some crap on my roof, my entire house is screwed. Close call.

Crooks! Avoid at all costs. Zero stars. Did not complete solar installation and now I have 20 panels on my roof generating no power.

I bought my system and was glad to own it and looked forward to the Penguin Home Solutions experience, but something happened while my system was being installed.... PHS ghosted me and many others. They stopped helping me, stopped answering my calls and their numbers aren't working. To this day I don't know what happened to them or what to do about my system and warranties etc. I would have liked to write a great review but I can't.... I would say stay clear of this business.

Signed contract in Feb 23, Penguin postponed my installation many times and finally was supposed to install last week. There was no show. Later through the sales rep, I heard they filed for bankruptcy. Im surprised sales rep posed as if he learned from me. I lost my deposit and very disappointed . Im glad I did not pay 80% upfront, which they were insisting upon.

What a waste of time and money, need to start all over again to pass my building final inspection.

They guarantee a certain amount of energy production with their solar panel installation every year. I've had the system since 2020 and this year I got a big fat electricity bill from my utility almost 3x the amount of the previous year only to find out that something in their solar panel system broke and my panels were producing ZERO electricity for 5 months out of last year without my knowledge. I remembered their policy of guaranteed energy production and that they would reimburse electrical costs if their system failed to produce as advertised. I called and they said someone would get back to me. Crickets for weeks. I called again and spoke to someone else and the same result - crickets. Called multiple times until FINALLY someone said they would reimburse a certain amount (which didn't even come close to the amount that I was owed but whatever) and they said they would send a check. Then same thing - crickets for weeks. I called again and they said they sent the check already but NOPE I didn't receive anything and they said they'd get back to me and it's been weeks of crickets again to the point that I could be a cricket wholesaler at this point if any of you have any reptiles to feed. It's been at least 5 months through this process and have spoken to about 4-5 people regarding this and still have no check in hand. I warned them that I'd write a scathing review if they didn't follow through with their promise and still nothing. This pathetic company is a bait and switch scam. STAY AWAY.
