i been having my panels for almost a year now and my electricity bill hasnt change at all i still get them high electricity bills the same amount of money as when i didnt have panels, and now i still gotta pay for my panels and my electricity bill is there anything i can do. i called them sever times and they say they are going to check my panels and send someone to check but they never do.

when i bought the panels the seller told me i was going to get $14k back on a check and i never got anything and he also provide my home with more panels for me to not pay electricity anymore well he said my bill will come out to 20 dollars or less, but still now i'm $1800 dollars in debt with the city because they said they were gonna fix the issue and still nothing is there anything i can do to get the best out of the panels?

i also heard i need to change my electricity bill to something call NEM can anyone help me with that??

My roof/solar project began on Sept. 14th with the tear off of my roof. The roofing company contracted by Penguin was good and the tear off and replacement while not perfect, (rain in the middle of install was a difficult issue) was resolved. The issues came when the solar portion was being installed and approved. Here is where we are on January 19th (4 months!!!).
No HOA approval - (denial), no battery commission, no drywall or insulation repairs due to roof leaks. NO COOPERATION on fixes - just consistent billings for final payment when the job is not complete. YOU should think about this review before going forward with this company. I am looking at legal options and I never post bad reviews.

they installed a solar system at my house
the panels were not level, the breaker box was put on very shoddy, it took them 5 times to get the wiring correct and they still f didnt hook my well up to critical load, I had to call them several times to get the system to work correctly, and the owner lied to me about finishing the work

i have to hire an electrical contractor to hook my well up to the battery backup's

Owners got involved and resolved my issues. At their expense added additional panels to get me the power for which I had paid and had in my contract.

These guys are a joke! Very rude! Beware! Sales reps are extremely unprofessional.. look for another company that cares about customers

They upgraded my panel from 100 to 200 amps, installed 16 solar panels as well. The City Of Riverside has been messing around with the scheduling due to Covid, they had guy sitting and waiting for inspections and the city did not show. My bill came up for my first payment and the solar was not activated yet so they paid my first month bill for me. Real easy to work with. Randy was a class act!

I purchased a solar system for a price and now they are charging me more than double. I was just told that it was on the contract. I am obviously very upset about this company. Hope you don't make the same mistake :(

We got a great price on our solar. All the employees we have dealt with at Penguin Home Solutions have been very professional and pleasant to work with. The installation was completed in a timely manner. They delivered what they promised, there were no surprises along the way. We highly recommend this company!

We had solar done as an add-on to roof work by RNR Roofing. Our panels look great on the roof. The install took no time at all. They were very professional and answered all questions. It would have been nice if they would have either sent or kept a photo of the old electrical panel so that when they replaced it we knew what switch turned off what, but oh well on that end. The only other thing I have to add is that communication from the home office could have been a little better. It would have been nice to know about the application process with the utility company and that things might be denied and fixed multiple times. Overall not a terrible experience with Penguin.

Eddie Diaz and his team did it right! It took some time to install our solar system because of the city requirements and the battery backup system we are using continues to power the house even during power outages.

I am glad I selected Penguin Home solutions. Jose, Eddie's project manager and his team were very careful when they were on the roof and went the extra mile to take care of all of my requests.
