Peak Builder's did my condo roof, drywall, and painting repairs. They provided a quick competitive quote, were on time with only a 30-minute window needed for the appointment, and finished the job on time and without any additional charges added. Our roof sprung a small leak somewhere near our fireplace after the heavy rains that we experienced in San Diego in March and April of this year (2023). We called Peak Roofing and Ben came out to give us a quote. He did this even though they were swamped with other callers who also had roof issues due to the heavy rains. He provided a quote which we felt was very thorough and fair. He also responded to all my calls and questions. I always felt he knew what he was doing and was comfortable working with him. After having to reschedule due to recurrent rainstorms, he and his crew did not disappoint. His crew came out on the agreed upon date and completed the job within three days as promised. His crew was neat, hardworking, friendly and very professional. They did excellent work and we are very happy with the results. It rained a few times after they completed the work on our roof and no leaks! I definitely would recommend Peak Roofing and plan to have them quote and work on other projects in our home. We had a great experience with Peak Builders and Jonathan. I am one to make a spreadsheet of roofing contractors who I got quotes from: how timely were they? How nice and easy to talk to? How did they break out the pricing options on the quote like I asked them to? Finally, who had the best price? I was not surprised to see that Peak Builders rated top in the first questions, and had the lowest price with a warranty. Jonathan keeps great communication throughout, and rolls with the punches when there are new developments (I cant find an electrician to remove my solar panels; Jonathan makes some calls and handles if for a small fee). The finished product was exactly as I expected, and the subsequent mess I expected in the yard was not there. Shop around and make your own comparisons.

To be quiet, honest talking to a construction man can be very intimidating. With peak builders I worked with Ben and never felt intimidated. I never felt like I was being talked over or told things I didn't understand. I asked Ben what it would cost to rebuild my dream home and he was realistic and honest. We went over what was a necessity and what was extra and what I felt comfortable with. The construction crew was respectful of my home and very polite with any interaction we had. I hired Peak Builders to temporarily remove my solar, tear off my roof, remove an old HVAC platform, install a new roof, and reinstall solar.

I loved that Peak Builders was one of the few contractors I interviewed that could take care of all my home needs. Their price was fair for the work. They were incredibly responsive, communicative throughout, and stayed on schedule despite some rain during the project. They were committed to the job until every last detail was complete and I was satisfied.

Peak Builders did some remodeling in my condo last Fall. They took out a pony wall and they built an accessible shower (for people in wheelchairs that need to sit, while in the shower). They also, widened two doorways, fixed / updated my pluming, fixed my sliding door and more.

They were very attentive to my needs and listened to my directions. I love my new shower and everything they fixed up. Ben was the project manager and the whole construction crew was very friendly and easily to communicate with. Thank you!

I had a horrible experience this evening. I wanted a quote on an add on bathroom. I stated over the phone it was an ADD ON, not a remodel. Even after checking his notes thats also what it said. It was as if he showed up and saw that it would be a lot more work than just a remodel and was like nope. Just stated this needs engineering (which I'm already aware of and that this will also need permits) and wouldn't quote me. I had to urge him to give me any sort of ballpark. I was so annoyed at this point I didnt even bother asking any more questions like...what is the typical process? what are the steps?... To even THINK about moving forward with this company.

The only good thing was the girl I spoke with over the phone to schedule the consultation. She was sweet and accommodating.

But the guy Ben they sent out to give me the quote...I would never spend my money on that guy.
