The worst ever. Run away. Tim did not honor his contract. He used no insulation. Everything leaked. He never finished. He demanded more money, despite us having a contract, and refused to finish. Everything he did was leaking and worthless. We had to tear his work up and start over. And, he did not pay for the crane and we got stuck with the bill. Don't believe any good reviews. Nothing was done properly and he is a cheat. The materials were not correct and worthless. If you don't believe me I urge you to get a bond before starting as he has no insurance that covers roofing work.

Abandoned the job, asked for $8000 for roof tile then took it and ran. The only thing we wanted was the roof finished. I could've helped this company seeing I own a marketing company but now I will do the opposite. Sometimes you don't realize who you screw over. Please do not use this company, they cant be trusted, call Broward Building department and ask how many lawsuits this company has against them, check BBB. There are plenty of legitimate companies with hard working Americans dont give these trashy scammers you money! These are a perfect example of what is wrong with American, people like this that steal from hard workers. I could keep going but it looks like the other reviewers had pretty much the same experience and they explained in there review. Bottom line is RUN AWAY FROM PAYTON ROOFING! SCAMMERS!

Abandonment of Contract. Quoted Jan 3 2019. Didn't start work until February 9, 2019. Work stopped on Feb 28 2019. And still not complete. Please give a complete description of your complaint. On Jan 3 2019 a quote was given by *** ****** the brother of TIM PAYTON. After giving them a deposit on Jan 22, 2019 to start that same week. They never showed up to start the job until Feb 9, 2019. Payton Roofing has consistently worked on and off since then. After thousands of phone calls and text messages later, and 4 months later the project only made it to about 60% complete. Work stopped on Feb 28 2019 and they hasn't return since. Tried to contact TIM numerous times through phone call, left messages, send text messages to inquire if he plans to return to complete the work. NO RESPONSE. *** *****his brother DON PAYON requested another payment outside the contract terms to purchase the roofing tile, I even met him at Suncoast Roofing supply at which he even showed me an invoice. Fast forward to now, it was in fact NOT an invoice, it was not even a quote. Just a material list for my project. The material was NEVER ordered or even paid for. Since then they have disappeared and I'm unable to get an answer what is his intention. And to make matters worse...Payton Roofing-*** ******, owes the city for the permit fees. He paid for the permit with a bad check that ended up bouncing. So the city never received payment for the permit. I'm currently out over $6,500.00

THEY ARE WELL KNOWN TO DO SHITTY WORK, SO NO OTHER REPUTABLE WANTS TO CONTINUE THE WORK....

SO BASICALLY YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH AN UNFINISHED ROOF INDEFINITELY

I KNOW IT'S A LONG REVIEW,

mr.peyton is a good christian man.i do how ever ask that his brother deal with issues,he more laid back and relaxed,very nonthreatening just a good old southern man.
i am the vp president of the board and have never been more happy with our decision to go with his company the other three bids.great price,good work ethics.

Do not use this company. Tim, the owner DOES not stand behind his work. Brand new roof leaked and ceiling caved in. Tim refused repair. Told me to file a insurance claim. I did. They denied it saying it was old rotted wood. Went back to Tim. Still refused to repair so I had no choice to hire a roofer to fix it. $1800. Forward 2 years later and i have another leak on the opposite end of the house and now i am told that because another roofer touched my roof my warranty is null and void. Buyer beware, go somewhere else.

I am in the panhandle and suffered severe roof damage. We hired Tim from Payton roofing from the south fla area to help with the emergency repairs, he showed up at the time he told me he arrived and worked beyond dark to make my family safe and secure thank you Tim!

Payton roofing put a new roof on one of my properties 3 years ago and we already have a leak. He doesn't answer our calls, our texts. We had another roofer coming to inspect our new roof and there is a leak and it will cost us $1500 to fix it.
Stay away from this company . No wonder they have a F on the BBB.

If there was an option to give NO stars I would! I do not know how these people are in business and they do not honor any warranty and when they finished my roof they did not follow through on the required inspections and never mentioned this to me, they were paid to do this! They are crooks! You would have to be nuts to use them! They are the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with and will spread the word to everyone I know, thank god for social media....

Just like the prior reviewer said, they refused to honor their warranty. Use them if you feel like losing. Total garbage of a company. The owner actually hung up on me when I called to have service on the warranty.
